31/12/2025: In a beautiful, typical mountain setting, we were greeted by friendly, attentive staff. I recommend the Johnny pizza, half pizza and half calzone. But the selection is truly varied. Reservations are required; it's not a place you can just pop in at the last minute.

22/09/2025: The pizzeria is truly lovely: it's located in the center of Melezet, right near the church. The interior is decorated in a rustic mountain style, a warm, welcoming, and intimate atmosphere that I find particularly romantic. Perhaps it's because the warm lighting at night creates a very evocative atmosphere. We had the pizza, which we loved: good, tasty, and with a distinctive flavor reminiscent of the mountains. Perhaps it's also due to the water, which is truly excellent here. The owner is a friendly, kind, and always available person—he always has been. I've been there often over the past few summers and continue to happily return, partly for convenience and partly because I really like the pizza. The prices are truly reasonable. The only thing to consider is the opening hours: they don't have consistent opening hours year-round, so it's always best to call ahead. 13/01/2026: "An excellent experience in every way" We had lunch on Saturday with my family and couldn't have asked for anything better. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and incredibly attentive to even the smallest details, making us feel right at home. The cuisine was a real discovery: Appetizers: The "Tris Gran Piemonte" is unmissable. Incredibly tender veal with tuna sauce, Fassona tartare, and Bra sausage were simply superb. The platter of cured meats and cheeses from the valley was also formidable. First courses: The Piedmontese agnolotti with roast gravy and tagliolini with venison white ragù were exquisite, rich in flavor, and beautifully cooked. The quality-price-quantity ratio is phenomenal and perfectly balanced. It's undoubtedly one of the best places we've ever eaten. I recommend Bardosteria to everyone, especially for enjoying a meal surrounded by snow in a beautiful setting. We'll definitely be back!

16/09/2025: We stayed in this chalet for three days and were completely satisfied. The property only offers B&B service because the restaurant has closed, which is a shame because they say it used to be excellent. The room for four is well-kept and spotlessly clean, with a large mezzanine for two single beds that avoids the "camper" effect, and a small balcony overlooking the mountains. The chalet is easily accessible, just three minutes from the center of Bardonecchia, and has free parking right in front. The breakfast was excellent, with the highlight being the truly unmissable homemade cakes. Amedeo is a delightful host, extremely kind and full of advice on activities, excursions, and local spots.

04/01/2026: Athlete's bivouac or restaurant? 80% of the outside tables were occupied by customers who weren't eating. The waitress rudely answers anyone who asks for a table. Tables for 6 were used by two people without the option of sharing. They told us it was possible to order takeout pizzas, we lined up at the cashier, but they changed their minds! Suddenly they didn't do takeout. Total disorganization!

07/01/2026: The experience was extremely disappointing and awful. From the very beginning, we witnessed a truly unpleasant scene involving another customer, treated rudely by the owner. Her arrogant and unprofessional attitude created a very uncomfortable atmosphere, even for those of us who were simply trying to enjoy a peaceful lunch. To make matters worse, there were serious hygiene issues: plates and cutlery were visibly dirty, so much so that we had to ask for them to be replaced. We found pieces of plastic and hair in the plates, which is frankly unacceptable for any establishment, especially one that claims to offer a traditional, quality experience. All of this, combined with the total lack of a sincere apology and the owner's annoyed attitude, left us with a terrible impression. A real shame, because the setting could be pleasant, but politeness, respect for customers, and attention to hygiene should be the bare minimum. It's an experience we won't repeat and, at this time, we can't recommend.
