05/08/2025: In gita con un gruppo di 52 persone. Ringrazio il personale che ha gestito un grande problema all'interno della loro gestione assicurandoci comunque il pasto, organizzato su due piedi. Chapeau! Auguri per un futuro migliore!

05/08/2025: Being notified at 6:00 PM for an 8:00 PM reservation for 7 people, only to be told it's closed without any real explanation, and you're celebrating a birthday and you've made a reservation, isn't pleasant at all. And you have to come up with a dinner plan in two hours... I'm speechless... I don't think I'll ever go back.

09/03/2026: I was at this restaurant yesterday. After calling to check if there were two seats available, it was 1:00 PM, and I was told that if we returned by 2:00 PM, that is, an hour later, they would welcome us and let us eat. I should point out that there were only two of us, not a group. We decided not to eat anywhere else, to take a walk to pass the time and return as agreed upon over the phone. At 2 pm we met in the restaurant in front of the counter, reception, and after 10/15 minutes of not seeing any of the staff, we went upstairs where we finally found two waiters, one of whom was the one I had spoken to on the phone. In a very annoyed and hasty manner, they told us that it was not possible to have us eat because the kitchen was out of order and far behind. We tried to make them understand that if we were guaranteed a place, we would trust them and respect the work of others and their word, we did not look for anything else and wasted. An hour of walking around on foot in vain, obviously taking away any possibility of eating elsewhere given the time. Unfortunately, once again we were told that it wasn't possible because the kitchen was too behind with very long waits even for those who had been sitting for a long time. We asked, with extreme patience, if settling for a pizza would unblock the situation and trying to accommodate him further was a solution, but not even that, replying to do what we wanted, to sit down, but without guaranteeing us anything certain. At that point, rather incredulous, hungry, my companion pointed out that they should have found a solution to the mistake and we decided to sit down. After a few minutes one of the two waiters comes to the table, huffing and rudely throwing the menus at us. At that point we decided that it was really too much and left. I don't recommend it. Furthermore, I'm surprised at how quickly you responded to my one-star review of the service (because I didn't have the honor of eating), which I wrote this morning and I hope you put the same speed into your work too!!!

22/02/2026: Restaurant serving typical Sicilian/Calabrian cuisine. The food is good, the price is reasonable, and the staff is friendly. A quiet place to spend an evening with friends. I recommend the eggplant cannoli and the desserts, which are truly delicious. Dogs are welcome.

19/12/2025: Food selection of local beers, would recommend any of them. Friendly helpful staff, language not an issue, beer drinkers can always communicate 😊

20/09/2025: A beer garden in a shopping center with a spacious outdoor area. Excellent craft beer from the Aleghe brewery.

02/03/2026: We ordered a variety of food and drinks. I personally saw the waitress writing on the list, and it was correct. The bill they gave us was incorrect, and they didn't provide a receipt. I asked for clarification, and the waitress replied that the bill was indeed incorrect, but she had ordered an extra platter, which I wouldn't have asked for anyway because I'm vegetarian (regardless of the extra platter, the bill was still €6 higher). To justify herself, she said, "But you ate it anyway." (I explained that my mother ate it, and that the customer shouldn't be paying for the service error.) I tried to explain this several times, and her response was a grammatical correction and a very rude response, saying, "Are you coming to work for me on Sundays?" She gave me my money back, annoyed, and still didn't issue a receipt the second time either. Throughout all this, I kept saying I'd see what my colleague had written on the slip of paper, but strangely, they wouldn't produce it. Embarrassing.

30/09/2025: Had lunch for two. Excellent food, though not exactly cheap. Excellent service. Very convenient parking. Exceptional location Exceptional.

12/03/2026: Situated in a very interesting location, we find what, besides being a proper hotel, is also a piece of personal history. The setting is full of meaning, with an attention to detail that is not typical of everyone. The owner knows how to find the perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. And here I would like to focus: in the bar room, we find a wall where the owner's impressive bartending skills are praised by various newspapers and certificates, a glimpse of a time when things were different. Today, he is no longer a bartender, but it is a pleasure to hear people talk about when he was the "King". So, in addition to the strategic location if you want to visit the two lakes between here and there (Lago Grande and Lago Piccolo), we have an interesting and engaging history. I am happy to say that a little piece of the Caprice will be with me from now on.

10/08/2025: I can't comment on the bar services I've experienced; I think only under the previous management. The "To Good to Go" bag Lots of croissants placed directly in a plastic bag without the usual bar bags... Thrown out with contempt Those who do "To Good to Go" do it to avoid wasting food, not to be judged...absurd I won't add anything else because I haven't tried any other services.

28/07/2025: We stopped for lunch at this cute, clean place. We ordered three delicious stuffed focaccias, but we barely finished them because they were so huge. If we'd known, my daughter and I would have at least gotten one between us. The ingredients were very good, though they were sliced potatoes instead of creamed potatoes. Aside from the rather slow service, I highly recommend this place. The price was fair: three focaccias, two small beers, a small bottle of water, and three coffees, €37.

16/09/2025: Coffee and cannoli cost €4.40, which I find to be decidedly excessive for a breakfast in Avigliana.
