10/07/2026: Lunch on a Thursday in late June. We booked with high expectations given the many positive reviews and the fact that we knew it was a "historic" place. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in (almost) everything. The appetizers were terrible; the standouts were the mini tomini cheeses taken from an industrial plastic container and placed on the plate with black pepper and a drizzle of oil, dry and flavorless, and the cold cuts that looked like leftovers from another meal. For the first course, we ordered ravioles, which were quite good. We skipped the second course, no longer trusting it. Finally, desserts were a sampling of bunet and tiramisu, both passable, with plenty of generous portions. The service was at the pace of home when mom is in a hurry to watch TV after dinner. Rereading the reviews, we all got the impression that the service and food during the week aren't the same as on the weekend.
