03/01/2026: The restaurant reopened last year after being closed for a few years. I'm not sure if it was under new management, but the current one has done a great job! The atmosphere is welcoming and quiet, and the soft lighting combined with a lovely fireplace (lit! 😉) create a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The service is always precise and professional, and we developed a rapport with the staff, who were fun to chat with, beyond the usual routine. The dishes are good; I was satisfied with the tagliatelle with venison ragù and the veal fillet with three peppercorns. The tiramisu, however, despite its beautiful presentation, wasn't matched by its adequate flavor; I found it too lacking in sweetness, and the way it was assembled made it difficult to enjoy.

01/01/2026: I happened to eat at this restaurant on New Year's Eve with friends; we were a group of 14. We had reservations for 9:50 PM, but they let us in around 10:30 PM! We had to wait outside in the cold for over half an hour!! They sat us at a table at the back of the restaurant, where it was almost freezing! The atmosphere was very modest, at least the room where we were sitting. We ordered à la carte, and I had a Fassona steak as an appetizer. The portion was generous, but I was hoping it would be already seasoned, but it needed to be seasoned. I've definitely had better elsewhere! The waiter took all our orders without telling us we couldn't order anything after that. We would have also liked a second course, but they told us the kitchen was already closed! Shameful! That's why they were so quick to serve the dishes! Too quick! Most of the wines on the menu were sold out, so we were forced to order what the waiter told us! This is another very disappointing note! A restaurant that doesn't have a wine stock??? Oh! The tajerin with wild boar sauce arrived tasteless!! Overall, in my experience, I wouldn't recommend eating here at all, especially considering the prices, which are completely unjustified! Too high! Also considering the very modest location! The owners didn't even apologize for the wait and all the other inconveniences we had to endure!

25/12/2025: We ate there twice during Christmas. The staff were very friendly and efficient, especially the male waiters. The food was very good and varied! Pizzas, polenta, burgers, grilled meats, and even raclette! Prices were reasonable.

01/10/2025: Beautiful hotel, good food. Excellent location at the foot of the Ligurian border ridge road.

17/09/2025: Excellent location for the Haute Route du Sel... secure garage for bikes... the friendliness of all the staff. Not to mention the excellent meal... the impeccable room. Everything was perfect... we will be back. Laurence and Patrick
