11/12/2024: If you are in the center of Dogliani, this bar is a must-do! I only had a super quick afternoon coffee, but the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. The bartender was really nice and made everything more enjoyable. I found that they offer a great variety of wine and dinner options, so I will definitely be back! My first impression was absolutely fantastic: service and warmth at the top! I can't wait to go back! ☕️🍷

09/08/2024: Cena di anniversario con mia moglie. Abbiamo degustato i due menù di carne e di pesce ed è stato tutto quanto perfetto. Materie prime di qualità, servizio veloce e molto disponibile,piatti della tradizione rivisitati ottimamente. Consigliato e sicuramente ci torneremo

21/06/2024: We have been coming regularly to the restaurant "Il Verso del Ghiottone" in Dogliani for almost 20 years and are thrilled every time. The seasonal menus interpret local specialties in a modern way and combine the highest culinary art with traditional craftsmanship. The family atmosphere, the wonderful art on the walls and the friendly team inspired us to celebrate our wedding party with 60 people in our favorite restaurant "Il Verso del Ghiottone" and it was simply perfect. After a reception in the garden, we had a delicious 5-course menu at long, white-covered tables in the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the festival and we remember this great event with joy! Thank you very much! We would like to come again!

26/07/2024: I must say that we (mostly I) was a bit sceptical at the start BUT as soon as the waiter start talking about the food I felt good. Food was amazing. Probably the best tortellini I ever had. We will come back here!

25/07/2024: Amazing experience. My wife and I both loved every dish. We asked for the traditional menu and we loved it from the entrance to the panna cotta.

15/09/2024: Una volta andavo molto spesso.... Poi dopo l'ultima volta non andrò più sinceramente una delusione totale.... una volta si mangiava benissimo.....

09/09/2024: Ci siamo stati in famiglia.Posto gradevole scelto solo per la vicinanza con un evento. Colazione misera e confezionata. Vergognose le pizze addirittura piena di olio con pomodorini secchi con aceto, immangiabile !! Delusissimi che non avessero una bistecca fassona.Proprietari gentili ma non è sufficiente !!

30/07/2024: Very good food, super friendly waiter. We came across the restaurant by chance and were greeted in an incredibly friendly and attentive manner by the waiter. Since we were easily recognizable as non-Italians, he spoke to us straight away in very good English and took a lot of time to explain everything to us. The food was so delicious that we booked a table straight away for our penultimate day of vacation so that we could have a delicious and cozy end. Everyone was friendly and the restaurant seemed to be well attended. We would eat here again at any time!

25/11/2024: Excellent lunch in Piedmont! We left Genoa to try this place that had been recommended to us. The village is very cute. The restaurant is in the central square, with windows that make the interior very bright and allow you to see outside. All very chic and refined. Attentive service. The menu offers typical Piedmontese proposals and 2 tasting menus. We chose: Knife-cut Tajarin with Bra sausage sauce (a nice generous portion) Duck tortelli, cream and cooking juices (a slightly small portion but excellent!) Domenico fillet of Piedmontese beef, small bagna cauda and cardoons (exceptional quality meat!) Knife-battered Piedmontese veal leg, Castelmagno and Piedmontese seasoning (excellent!) We drank two glasses of Nebbiolo (€16) Total bill €95 for two. Advised.

25/11/2024: Siamo partiti da Genova per provare questo posto che ci era stato consigliato. Il paesino è molto carino. Il locale è nella piazza centrale, con vetrate che rendono l interno molto luminoso e permettono di vedere fuori. Tutto molto chic e curato. Servizio attento. Il menù offre proposte tipiche piemontesi e 2 menù degustazione. Abbiamo scelto: Tajarin tagliati al coltello al sugo di salsiccia di Bra (una bella porzione abbondante) Tortelli di anatra, panna e fondo di cottura (una porzione un po’ scarsa ma ottimi!) Filetto alla Domenico Di manzo piemontese, piccola bagna cauda e cardi (carne di qualità eccezionale!) Coscia di vitella piemontese battuta al coltello, Castelmagno e condimento piemontese (ottima!) Abbiamo bevuto Due calici di nebbiolo (16€) Conto totale 95€ in due. Consigliato.

18/11/2024: I booked to come here for a tasting session with 16 clients. The welcome was amazing by Claudio and he explained everything in much detail. He laid on a large spread of cheeses, hams and other condiments that were simply delicious! What a fantastic host and overall experience. GRAZIE CLAUDIO AND TEAM! We shall be back next year :-)

14/11/2024: Incredible private wine tasting session with a beautiful lunch set in stunning hillside. Thank you to Claudio who is the perfect host and explains the wines very well. We were 16 guests at lunch and most of us loved the wines so much we bought several bottles each to take home. I accidentally left my credit card at the shop and Claudio was kind enough to call me and post it back to me! We will see you again in 2025 Claudio- Grazzie Mille 🙏

11/09/2024: Servizio generalmente veloce. Il bar è uno dei più frequentati della zona. Prezzi nella media. Il parcheggio è molto comodo.

03/07/2024: Open only for lunch closed on Sundays. Fixed home-style menu for workers, no paper, no typical dishes. What can I say, I would remove the word "Trattoria" and put "Mensa"
