28/06/2025: Organized trip to the Verona Arena Opera...too far out (40km). The food was good, but the room hadn't been cleaned in ages. See photos.
The hotel didn't offer any goodwill gestures, didn't change my room, and even charged me €5 for water in the room!!! They just cleaned the room while I was having dinner.
I'm giving it 3 stars for the staff, who were very welcoming, and for the quality restaurant, but especially not for the room, which was dilapidated, outdated, and decorated with thick cobwebs that weren't new. The magnifying mirror didn't hold up, and I had to squeeze between the sink and the wall and hold the mirror to use it. As for the shower hose, which was too short, it didn't allow me to rinse my legs with cold water even though the outside temperature was over 35 degrees. And so on. Note that it was a single room, so I paid for it with a supplement on the 3rd floor.

23/05/2025: Disappointing experience in every way, except one.
I went to Basilikò in Legnago with my colleagues and unfortunately the experience was decidedly negative. From the beginning, the waiting staff was rude and hasty, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. The order, although taken correctly, was completely wrong when it was served: wrong aperitifs, general inattention and no apologies. When I tried to point out the mistake by going to the counter, the bartender insisted in a haughty and rude tone that my spritz was made correctly, even though I also do this job and knew perfectly well that it wasn't. In the end she changed the drink, but with obvious annoyance. Added to all this is the fact that, even though the room was still full and we had booked in advance, at 9:40 pm we were told that the kitchen might no longer be able to serve food. Unprofessional and not at all customer-oriented behavior.
The only person who (partially) saved the evening was the person I assume is the owner: kind, helpful, the only one with a minimum of attention to the customer. Unfortunately, however, the courtesy of just one person is not enough to compensate for the overall service, which was inadequate and unnerving.
The food? Mediocre, with prices not justified by the quality. And even if it had been excellent, the treatment received would have made the experience not worthy of being repeated.
Such poor room management completely ruins what could be a good place. The customer is not treated with condescension, and arrogance is never synonymous with professionalism. Absolutely not recommended.
