Excellent quality dishes, excellent grilled fish with lobster cooked on the grill in plain sight by the grill master, excellent crudités accompanied by a selection of wines from the finest wineries. The owner is incredibly friendly and entertaining, making the tasting experience even more enjoyable! Definitely worth a try.

18/04/2026: This was our first time here, and we were delighted with the service, the atmosphere, and the food. Excellent quality at fair prices. Superb location in the old town with seating both inside and outside the restaurant, even with a view of Lake Garda. We will definitely be back.

15/04/2026: The food was average overall and didn't particularly stand out in terms of taste. Considering the prices, I don't think it was good value for money. Furthermore, it unfortunately didn't live up to the expectations of authentic, good Italian cuisine. Tourist food to satisfy hunger.
12/04/2026: A restaurant in the very center of beautiful Lazise, just steps (literally!) from the lake. Excellent food, meticulously prepared and presented, and generous portions. Extremely welcoming and attentive staff. We ordered fried and grilled fish, which were truly excellent! Prices are in line with the quality of the ingredients, so very fair!

05/04/2026: Absolutely nothing to complain about. Unique location, competent and attentive waiter, excellent wines, everything very good, especially the sea bream and tench risotto. Obviously, the prices are in line with the (a lot) ordered, including the caviar, but the wines are certainly affordable too. The portions are generous, too. Nearby tables ordered salt-crusted fish, which looked delicious. I'll definitely be back.
Note: Out of curiosity, I looked for those who gave it one star... people who hadn't booked and are complaining about the seating in front of the restrooms. I should point out that the spotlessly clean restrooms are behind a screen and a plant, but the lady framed it so it couldn't be seen, otherwise the complaint wouldn't have been valid. There are truly frustrated people out there...

03/05/2026: The kindness and willingness to welcome us even went so far as to reserve a table for two, which quickly became a table for four, even making room for the children. The service was excellent, and the attention to detail was impeccable, without making us feel like just another tourist. The mixed grilled fish was excellent, as was the mixed fried fish. The bill was honest and served with a smile. Recommended.
03/04/2026: Well, we've known La Forgia for at least 20 years and have always enjoyed eating there!
Today I wasn't happy. The luccio in salsa was dry, bland, uninspired, and unworthy! The seafood risotto was al dente, but without the fish! The trotta was excellent! The house wine was overpriced at €10 for 0.5 liters. What a shame... Perhaps it was just a fluke? What's annoying is that the crisps are cleared away almost as soon as the main course is finished... they would go well with the leftover wine...

The price-performance ratio is borderline. They charge an extra €6 for vegetables with the fish. Otherwise, I would have received the fish completely without any side dish. Oh well... I think €26 for fish plus a side dish would be fairer. Then there wouldn't be any surprises. The fish itself tasted great, by the way.

10/05/2026: The food was good, but the staff overcharged me by saying he didn't have any change and therefore couldn't give me the €10 back, apparently on his end. I didn't like that at all.
08/05/2026: We ate there twice. It was excellent. I've never eaten such good octopus. Highly recommended.

29/07/2025: Nourriture très bonne, nous avions pris une pièce de boeuf angus à se partager avec mon mari, c'était vraiment excellent !
Maiiiiis, je trouve le prix un peu excessif, ils pourraient le justifier par la vue mais il n'y a que deux tables qui ont vue sur le lac donc même pas.
Nous avons mangé là lors d'un bel orage avec grêlons. Comme le restaurant est totalement vitré (parois amovibles) nous avons eu un peu peur pour nous quand les grêlons tapaient sur les parois. Comme c'est amovible, l'eau rentre dans le restaurant (plusieurs femmes ont eu leur sac à main trempé à cause de cela). Comme il pleuvait, ils ont dû fermer les parois. Il y avait un bruit ambiant, on ne s'entendait même plus avec mon mari et ma fille...
Ma fille a reçu son plat bien avant nous, elle avait pratiquement fini lorsque nous avons été servis...
Longue attente pour recevoir l'addition et je n'étais pas encore levée de ma chaise qu'on installait déjà une autre famille à notre table...
Donc en résumé, très bon mais ça ne vaut pas le prix ni la qualité du service.

Servizio impeccabile. Ha una bellissima veranda sul lago, si gode una bella vista, centrale, sul corso.
I primi sono espressi, valgono l' attesa

Laat je niet tegenhouden door het uitzicht aan de buitenkant maar probeer bvb de pasta met zeevruchten.
Terecht de nr 1 van Lazise!!!

07/06/2025: Primo pomeriggio, l'unico con la cucina ancora aperta. Tagliolini con gorgonzola e tartufo che manco ad Alba ho mangiato. Buono il servizio, celere e gentile. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Anche il rosè sfuso era buono. Consiglio a tutti !!!!

20/07/2025: Ongelooflijk dan krijg je een schamel mandje brood voorgezet die je niet aanraakt moet je toch 2,5 per persoon betalen. Dan krijg je geen fooi!
Verder wel een mooi terras direct aan het meer en de pizza's waren oké
19/07/2025: Das einzig Gute ist der Seeblick!
Weizenbier wurde die Flasche mit Weinglas serviert. Cola aus der Dose.Lasagne aus der Mikrowelle (aussen pampig,innen kalt. Spaghetti, Vorstufe von al dente und geschmacksneutral. Brotkörbchen (das wir weder bestellt noch angerührt hatten),wurde mit 5 Euro berechnet.
Nicht empfehlenswert!
