During our vacation in South Tyrol, we tried many restaurants – but none impressed us as much as this small, traditional Italian restaurant in Bolzano. The menu is manageable, but that's precisely what speaks for the quality. The emphasis here is on freshness, regional products, and genuine craftsmanship. Every bite was a little feast – authentic, honest, and full of flavor. The prices are surprisingly moderate, especially considering the quality of the food. You can tell: This isn't about fancy stuff or tourist rip-offs, but about real taste. A big compliment also to the warm service – attentive, friendly, and always up for a pleasant chat. We felt completely at home. Conclusion: We haven't eaten better anywhere during our entire vacation. This restaurant is an absolute insider tip for anyone who appreciates good food and genuine hospitality. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!

31/05/2025: Don't let the rustic atmosphere scare you—this place might look a little old-school or rough around the edges, but the food is absolutely worth it. Osteria del Picchio serves up genuinely delicious dishes that feel homemade and full of flavor. The vino della casa was also a pleasant surprise—simple, smooth, and paired perfectly with the meal. If you're looking for a true local spot with character and great food, give it a try!

10/06/2025: Good place to eat fish in Trentino. Nice and elegant environment. Parking is available and there is a lot of choice on the menu since it is both a restaurant and a pizzeria. Eating on the veranda is also very nice. They accept dogs

10/06/2025: Once a week there is a good pizza, tel and in a short time they are ready. The staff is very helpful. Good job guys. Mom today we take the pizza we can't it's closed..... too bad.

01/07/2025: I went to eat two nights, one night I ate fish and the next night pizza, both times I was super satisfied with the service and the quality of the food, I will definitely go back in the future ✨ Even for desserts, all the flavors are taken care of in the smallest detail. For the price it is fair, for the fish it is high but rightly so because after all quality has to be paid for!

12/05/2025: Excellent atmosphere and service. The restaurant is located in a slightly hidden corner of one of the small squares on the shore overlooking Lake Garda, surrounded by historic buildings. The prawns in salt were good while the cacio e pepe risotto with tuna tartare did not convince us, the tuna completely overwhelmed by the other flavours. However, rice cooking and creaming were perfect. Good prices compared to the quality of the food and the location

07/07/2025: Nothing to say about the service, friendly and attentive waiter, cold pizza with already coagulated mozzarella, undercooked, calzone in addition to being cold and soft raw seemed pre-cooked to be reheated and not made at the moment ... the ingredients inside the undercooked crust were practically intact the mozzarella still in pieces, the calzone for its entire consumption remained warm. The waiter asked how it went and we explained the problem, he went to tell the manager she looked at us and didn't bat an eyelid ..... We paid on the way out the manager didn't say hello. I have never written negative reviews but here I couldn't help but.

26/06/2025: I actually didn't have time to make a hotel research for this trip but this one have very clean rooms and facilities and a very good restaurant, especially if you order pizza (when in Italy, always eat Italian food, yum) It is not in the city center, but it is not far (and walking is always great), but there is a bus stop in front of it. However, the internal parking lot is too small, and cyclists take over the spaces at times, so if you don't mind you can also park in the street parking lots There are... Well I'll make a deeply review as soon I come back from vacations

25/06/2025: My single room was unfortunately very small, but clean and air-conditioned. The dinner was extremely delicious, and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Fanni! A good 15-minute walk from the Cathedral Square. I'd be happy to come back.

04/06/2025: We have been visiting the Seele Hotel – now Hi Hotel – regularly since its beginnings and have almost considered it our second home. The warm atmosphere, the loving surroundings, and the consistently immaculate cleanliness have delighted us time and again. We returned several times a year because we knew: Here, you feel welcome, here, you feel comfortable. A week ago, we visited the new owners for the first time. We were full of anticipation, but unfortunately, this was quickly dampened. The familiar feeling of "arriving" simply didn't seem to materialize this time. Everything suddenly seemed very cold, distant, and almost impersonal. The warm, family-like atmosphere that we had enjoyed so much over the years was gone. Unfortunately, our room had several defects that further spoiled the overall impression: The door seal was broken, making it difficult to close properly. The toilet paper holder was loose and about to fall off the wall, and the fact that they now charge an extra €15 per day for parking doesn't make things any better. The breakfast remained fundamentally the same, but the small, loving touches that once made it so special were missing, such as the homemade cake and the lovingly prepared scrambled or fried eggs. Instead, there was a ready-made scrambled egg, which seemed uninviting and, unfortunately, didn't taste great either. Overall, the hotel has changed a lot, at least in our experience. In the past, the hotel was regularly renovated and maintained; everything was thought out down to the last detail and in perfect condition. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be a top priority. Of course, we are aware that things change, but sometimes it's a shame when so much warmth and attention to detail is lost in the process. We look back with great gratitude on the many wonderful stays we were able to experience at the Seele Hotel under the previous management. However, after this last visit, it seems unlikely that we will return again.

30/05/2025: Trotzdem das Restaurant sehr voll war, klappte es mit dem Service und den Berichten einwandfrei. Wir waren begeistert von der schnellen Handhabung und trotzdem sehr guten Qualität der Gerichte. Die Pizza war eine der besten, meine Frau hatte Gnocchi mit Parmesan und Trüffel. Beides war sehr zu empfehlen.

01/06/2025: Finally a quality restaurant in Rovereto with a complete menu from delicious cuts of meat to fish. The renovated spaces leave space between one table and another to be comfortable, the service could be improved a little with a young staff but still doing everything possible to satisfy the customer
