23/05/2025: 5/25 We went there last night for a pizza with friends. The atmosphere is very comfortable with several tables. The menu is meat or fish and the dishes I saw passing by are very tempting. We ate a pizza. I had a Barberino with porcini mushrooms, buffalo mozzarella and salami, my friend had a red one with rocket and something else, while my partner had a white one with truffled porcini mushrooms and buffalo mozzarella. All very good. The desserts are in another category. The tiramisu I ate regenerated me while the sorbets were exceptional. Two medium beers, a mineral water and the evening ended beautifully. The price then....very honest. I recommend

Disappointed by the first course which is not at all copious.
The tiramisu is fabulous and lactose-free: thank you!
The price is a bit excessive but unfortunately everything has become expensive for the customer.
23/03/2025: Sono stata ieri sera, tutto molto buono, e finalmente un ristorante per noi intolleranti al lattosio! Menù molto chiaro, prodotti senza lattosio o naturalmente senza lattosio. Camerieri molto gentili e preparati. Bravi continuate così!

01/06/2025: I put 1 because zero doesn't exist... and I'm not joking. Old-fashioned place, mess everywhere, uncomfortable chairs... But that's nothing... let's talk about the food. But first I'll open a parenthesis... Wandering around the center of Grosseto, and not finding who knows how many places, at a certain point I see this pomegranate... With a lot of people at the tables outside... damn! I say, the food will be good... Regardless of the response of my companion who in the meantime had checked the score of 4.1/5, I tell him "but no come on... they must have made a mistake, otherwise why do you think it would have been so full of people?? " Oh well, he says, let's go in.... Scepticism takes over me almost immediately. We decide to eat only a pizza... Do you think they don't know how to make it with a wood-fired oven? And in fact It was really disgusting! Rubber dough must have risen for 1 hour... In fact it was charred underneath and raw on top. The truffle (because obviously I took the tartufata, it was missing.... You couldn't even smell that cream substitute... Not to mention the mozzarella... in Turkey they make it better, with all due respect to the Turks.
Only the beer was good. But obviously they don't make that.

The service is also accurate for people with intolerances and attention to gluten-free: different dishes are available with possible variations.
The location by the sea is a strong plus

06/05/2025: Reading the reviews, it seemed like a retro place but with a simple but valid offer.
We happened upon an evening in which it was not possible to eat pizza (perhaps when one makes a reservation, given that it is mainly a pizzeria, perhaps specify it..) due to their problems, we nevertheless decided to stay given the late hour and we regretted it: terrible starters, poorly made first courses and taken away.
It's unfortunate because it gave the impression of a tired, finished place... from the staff to the place, I couldn't find a positive note... not even the POS was working that evening.
I'm sorry but I would never recommend it.

23/06/2025: No. The service was very unfriendly. We didn't feel welcome. The hectic and stressed attitude of the waiters made the meal very uncomfortable. The service was rushed.

It does not have a reserved parking.
You can pay with satispay.
The pizzas are good and the staff very courteous.
Happy to have stopped here by chance.
The girls served quite quickly, which is important for those with small children who are hungry.

Siamo state accolte dal sorriso e dalla gentilezza della cameriera.
Antipasto Fantasia di Mare delizioso,Frittura Totani e gamberi con zucchine e carote croccante e non unta, cialda croccante con panna e fragole squisita. Prosecco e caffè.
Abbiamo avuto la conferma di aver fatto bene a tornare!
Cibo buono,ben impiattato.
Personale gentile,accogliente e preparato.
Lo consiglio sinceramente.

30/05/2025: My first time at Foffo and I was truly and positively impressed!! Octopus with potatoes for 10, then we had seafood carbonara, penne with scampi and cherry tomatoes, shrimp in spicy sauce, it's hard to find the best dish!! All truly above average. Impeccable and fast service, the fish feels fresh and quality. It was a discovery but I really recommend it to everyone!! They also do meat and pizza, maybe next time... BRAVISIMI!!! It's a satisfaction to sit at your table. The location is also very beautiful.

31/05/2025: Siamo andati a mangiare a cena con amici, il Locale è confortevole, abbiamo preso la pizza tutti e 4 ed era molto buona, il servizio molto buono, personale simpatico e amichevole adatto al tipo di locale, anche se alle volte è come se si dimenticassero di te d per ordinare il dolce ci vuole un po' di tempo. Però consiglio molto!

The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night
29/12/2024: To flee! Restaurant poorly located, however we chose it for its proximity to Novotel. Endless waiting, almost an hour to wait for the famous Florentine specialty "bistecca alla florentina" which we hastened to taste.
Eventually my wife got massive food poisoning and has been bedridden for 2 days now, so we weren't able to visit Florence. The meat was poorly cooked, and the hygienic conditions must be more than questionable for my wife to be so ill...
