02/04/2024: Finding vegan options is never easy or obvious but here you can eat very well, simple but very good dishes, a very rich starter and the dessert was truly exceptional (a cake with pistachio mousse and hazelnut brittle and salted caramel, perfectly balanced).
We had a great time and will definitely be back 🤩

25/03/2024: Sunday lunch on the panoramic terrace with a wonderful view from Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore, young and willing service as well as punctual and discreet, dishes in my opinion with a correct quality/price ratio. Fully Satisfied!

30/03/2024: In July 2023 we went to eat in this restaurant, I wanted to discuss why they brought us fish full of bones, almost all of it discarded and also expensive as fire.
I recommend not going there, it's really sad.
25/02/2024: Ci siamo trovati benissimo a pranzare in questo posto magico, piatti tipici locali e panorama mozzafiato immersivi per gli occhi e il palato.

07/05/2024: We found this place in Stresa from the Michelin Guide in the April of 2024. It's a nice place in the center of Stresa close to the port, in a very touristy area. The staff was really kind and welcoming but the food was very very regular, nothing special or tasty.. I think we paid 60eur/person only because it is in the Michelin Guide. Also, I must add that the lake area in general is more expensive than other parts of north Italy. Thanks anyway to the staff..
06/05/2024: Unreliable people don't keep appointments, I don't know about the food and I don't even want to know. If a good morning starts in the morning, that says it all

07/04/2024: Perfect place.. if you want to leave poor and with the same hunger as when you entered. You may like the dishes even if they seemed more fakely refined than anything else... the quantities are those for tasting (do you remember the Checco Zalone of "it's cooked: you can drain it"? Here...), the prices make you think of being finished by Cracco!
High-class restaurant environment (starched napkins and staff shirts; soft lights; low background music) which also goes poorly with the context - of the tourist town and the dishes that arrive at the table.
Probably the worst place you can find in Stresa. Certainly the most expensive. Without any reason to be.
30/03/2024: All really good, excellent quality cuisine with friendly and professional staff.
I recommend it for a moment to spend with the family in a welcoming environment.

Excellent wood-fired pizza, and to finish an excellent tiramisu!! Highly recommended👌

High quality dishes and products with great attention to detail!
I recommend it for those who want to "get out" of the simple and common patterns that we often see in the world of catering.

30/03/2024: I was a nanny in this restaurant in Stresa with my boyfriend and I had a good time. Small but beautiful location, friendly and kind staff. Good dishes and fresh fish. I recommend you try everything. If you are in Stresa, try it, it's worth it. sorry

Nous arrivons le 10 septembre vers 12 heures et le restaurant est quasi-désert.
Le serveur refuse de nous installer sur une table vue lac au motif que ce sont des tables de 4 (il y en a une dizaine toutes vides ...). Nous lui disons que dans ce cas nous préférons aller ailleurs. Du coup il nous propose une table pour 3 proche de l'entrée que nous acceptons. 20 minutes plus tard un autre couple arrive et obtient une table pour 4 vue lac ! (nous ne parlons pas italien contrairement aux autres... est ce le critère ?). Nous attendons pour passer commande (alors que l'endroit est désert). Un plat (18-20 €) et un accompagnement (6 €) chacun. Quand la commande arrive nous constatons une erreur (légumes au lieu de pommes de terre). La serveuse reprend ses légumes (commercialement à mon sens en cas d'erreur on les laisse sur la table... mais bon passe encore). Les pommes de terre arriveront (c'est logique) 20 minutes après quand on aura fini nos plats. Pas un mot d'excuse, pas un geste commercial. Bref, un repas correct mais pour 65 € (avec un verre de vin et une eau minérale), on peut espérer un meilleur service. les plats étaient corrects mais pas transcendants. nous constatons en partant que sans surprise bon nombre de tables de 4 sont restées vides. Dommage car le cadre est top.

10/09/2023: Scendiamo per la prima volta sulla Isola Madre per pranzare e fare una visita dello splendido orto botanico.
Appena scesi accompagnati da un battello privato, dopo aver riservato un tavolo il giorno precedente, veniamo accolti ed accompagnati al tavolo dal personale. La terrazza è splendida il tavolo proprio rivolto sulle acque del lago.
Il menu è interessante con pietanze sia di pesce che di terra.
Il servizio è rapido e cortese che rende la nostra colazione molto rilassante e ci stimola alla gita nel Orto Botanico ed alla Villa dell’isola Madre.
Abbiamo la fortuna di avere con noi a farci da guida il signor Alfredo da più di 28 anni al servizio della famiglia Borromeo e dei suoli tesori.
Giornata splendida e da consigliare a chi ha voglia di passare una mezza giornata in una delle meraviglie del Lago Maggiore. Per concludere la recensione: antipasto tartare di Branzino ottima ed abbondante, Filetti di Pesce Persico del Lago Maggiore con burro e salvia dorati a puntino con una insalatina verde molto buona. Il vino Chardonnay Trentino Villa Margon Riserva 2020 molto interessante!!
Caffè con biscottini della casa.
