07/04/2024: Everything is perfect, light and good pizza, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the service is excellent

06/04/2024: Dirty and old mussels, frozen rubbery mixed fried food accompanied by already frozen battered vegetables from discount stores... you can make fun of tourists but not people who really know about food. Never again

25/03/2024: Beautiful place... terrible service!! Food if you can eat, I repeat if, it's not bad. Went yesterday March 24th to celebrate my birthday with my family, it took us almost 3 hours to eat. And we were lucky that at least we managed to eat. Many tables left without being able to receive the dishes ordered and at a certain point the umbrellas flew, in the true sense of the word and the waiters had disappeared so the various customers tried to close them and place them on the ground. Absurd. Even the answers given by the owner were not at all polite. What a pity.

24/03/2024: Sunday 24 March, to forget! 1 hour for a starter and then another 1 hour for the first course. Something must have happened in the kitchen, or lack of staff, or maybe poor organization, definitely not the weather because I had lunch inside immediately. I don't know, but it remains a bad memory and the lack of excuses with a coffee or a bitter to resolve the embarrassment. Ps: bread dry as stone, asked for a change, never arrived.

24/03/2024: After having eaten the excellent pizza several times we wanted to treat ourselves to a fish dinner. Unfortunately the cuisine was not up to the level of the pizzeria. Five of us had two grilled dishes, two fried dishes and a spaghetti "Alla Ciccio", the dishes did not arrive together but above all the grilled dishes had some decidedly cold elements as well as being quite poor. It didn't go any better for those who had spaghetti, essentially a rock on which mussels etc. they were also added to the dish cold. With the desserts things didn't go any better, the babà was dry and the bunet not fresh, but the pastiera was very good. We will be back but only for the pizza.

30/03/2024: A little uncomfortable in the lower part, tables very close together but it is like that in many parts of Italy, the food is good, very good, the food arrives quickly, the service is very friendly, and the prices are incredible for being in the historic center of the city. 100% recommended

25/03/2024: Very nice location in the center of Novara Despite a very varied menu, the service was terrible. Dommage. Happy to have found a vegan menu, they served me a bruschetta with aubergine sauce, too bad the bread tasted like fish. I was forced to have the dish redone. Glass not clean, bread arrived after several requests, plates missing due to fish shells. The place was full but that doesn't take away from the fact that the service should be perfect. That said, as far as the food goes, good but nothing exceptional. Finally, a few smiles and more kindness are missing, even at the checkout!

02/04/2024: I recently booked at the Il Barcaiolo restaurant in Arona for an aperitif with family and friends, and I must say that I had a really good time. The price of €16 per person for everything on offer is perfect. Drinks are extra, but the price is fair. The restaurant, located in the center of Arona, is beautiful, with walls adorned with vintage photos. There is also a large selection of gins available. Six people, with aperitif, desserts, a drink each and two bottles of wine, spent €200. I had a good time and highly recommend this place, especially for the location, the friendliness and kindness of the waiters.

31/03/2024: Nice atmosphere and very kind service. Good and well cooked dishes. The meat is the open kitchen just as the open kitchen is the kitchen itself. The risottos are excellent, the Nebbiolo one with fondue, those alone are already worth an excellent rating. The mixed cold cuts starter is also good.
