03/07/2026: I ate at this pizzeria on the Sempione Pass, and I have to say I didn't enjoy it. I ordered a mixed fried fish, and when it was brought to my table, I looked at the waiter, thinking it was a joke. Something like 10 or 15 small pieces of fried fish (€20), which were good, but a portion too small to be true. As for the pizzas, my Novarese was good, but nothing more than a standard Zola pizza with spicy salami (€12). The mortadella (€14) had slices spread all over the pizza and was anything but flavorful. In my opinion, it was unpresentable. I ate bread and breadsticks to fill up, and spent a whopping €60 for two, drinking water. When you leave a restaurant and go to McDonald's to eat, to fill up, there's something wrong.

05/07/2026: Excellent experience!! I went there for lunch with my family and was able to try several dishes. The restaurant offers a variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, with a wide selection of desserts as well. We had gnocchi stuffed with pesto, yellow cherry tomatoes, and buffalo mozzarella, a cutlet with Caesar dressing accompanied by a salad, and zuccotti with a creamy eggplant and apricot sauce. The dishes looked very good, and the taste confirmed their excellence. The cutlet, though simple, was cooked really well with a lovely crust. The gnocchi were my favorite dish because the contrast between the cold buffalo mozzarella and the warm gnocchi made everything delicious. I have no complaints about the service; it was exceptional. I might add that the dishes were clearly freshly made and not reheated. It's in a very strategic and beautiful location overlooking the lake. As I said at the beginning, it was a very nice experience and I think I will go back.

19/06/2026: The restaurant is centrally located in the beautiful square, where you can enjoy al fresco lunch or dinner overlooking the island of San Giulio. This isn't our first time here, and we've always had a great experience. The menu varies seasonally and features an excellent wine list.

13/06/2026: The place is very welcoming, as are the staff, who even without a reservation, immediately escorted me to my table. As for the food, the products were high-quality. We chose various dishes, both meat and fish, and all were excellent, with unusual pairings. Everything was accompanied by a good wine, selected by them, and the result was a top-notch dinner. I recommend this place to everyone, much better than other restaurants I've tried on the lakeside.

11/08/2026: A quiet, almost unnoticed place. The food was adequate, with no special touches, or at least nothing left a lasting impression except the "excessive and unjustified" bill and, above all, the extraordinary stalking they'll employ on your phone number/email address once you leave the restaurant. I personally had to block the number due to the barrage of persistent calls. If they had a telegraph, they'd use it against you. I'd only return if I felt lonely and wanted to see the phone ring.

The fact that some music is playing does not justify the & music that refers you elsewhere The reservation process gives you the impression that the restaurant is always full and that you are lucky if your request is accepted In reality, the restaurant is empty The prices are very high for what they offer (I paid 120 euros for 1.1 kilo of meat, of which more than half the weight was on the bone) 33 euros for a 10 euro Sicilian Syrah and 15 euros for a strawberry cheesecake (very good) and an indifferent brownie The worst impression I had was that the next day I received a message promising a 90 euro gift if I wrote a review (an outdated marketing technique in favor of collecting good reviews)

07/08/2026: We have eaten here twice within 4 days so far, simply because it is incredibly delicious! The flavors are refined and you can tell that the ingredients are of high quality. The smoked goose carpaccio and the gnocchi with ragu were delicious! The other dishes we ate certainly didn't fall short! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the location is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!

10/08/2026: We went to Pinin a few days ago and tried their tasting menu featuring their most iconic dishes. What can we say? We were surprised, both by the quantity and the quality. It was a varied, rich, and tasty aperitif, with so many different choices, from the truly delicious tongue in salsa verde to the pickles and beautifully sliced, delicious cured meats! Then we moved on to their champagne and porcini risotto, excellent—plenty, perhaps too much, but so good we couldn't help but finish it. Creamy, with a truly special creaminess. Finally, the cheek. We were too full to fully enjoy it, but it was also worthy of praise! All this was accompanied by an excellent wine, an excellent Travaglini di Gattinara Nebbiolo! And finally, thanks to the service managed by Patrizia and Cristiane, two fantastic, friendly women who were always attentive to our needs and amiable in chatting with us. The owner who welcomed us was also truly kind, even giving us a discount on the final price! Highly recommended.
