07/11/2025: Every time we return to La Limonaia, we can't help but notice how perfect everything is! It's a pleasure just waiting for the dishes in a beautiful and warm environment in every sense, with professional but not snobbish staff, excellent food (we loved every dish we chose), excellent wines, and last but not least, the owner loves animals (there are two fantastic dogs and a cat!). All this accompanied by fantastic music in the background (Lou Reed, Amy Winehouse...). What can I say, things done with love are always the winners. We'll be back soon!! ❤️

Excellent first courses and satisfying portions, the second courses a bit meager: the sardines a scottadito were good, but maybe only about ten! The mixed gratin dishes were served in an unappealing way and gratin dishes only in name!!! Not enough and filled with really soggy breadcrumbs!!! I don't recommend it these days!!

The location is charming and meticulously maintained, but the food was perhaps a bit pretentious for those of a certain age (refinement doesn't always equate to deliciousness). The problem was the staff. My mother has serious vision problems. Besides the fact that the menu is digital only, when she asked for a paper menu, instead of helping her, they offered her a tablet... Now, I could understand if you have a full dining room after a grueling shift, but at the beginning of the shift, and by treating the only other table in a decidedly better manner, I think you could better assist your customers. I don't think it's such an unrealistic request to be able to read a menu to a visually impaired person. Thank you for your attention, hoping this doesn't happen to other customers at your establishment.

23/09/2025: Having come here for the first time on Sunday for lunch, we couldn't have expected anything better. The fish was expertly cooked, with generous portions and excellent service. The price was absolutely right for the quality (and quantity): for two, we spent €70 (a cold appetizer for two, sautéed mussels and clams, fried fish, wine, water, coffee, and sorbet). Excellent value.

21/09/2025: I'm very sorry, but I can only give two stars for the food. The fish was fresh, I admit, but it was either overcooked or simply overcooked. The lack of tagliatelle with a simple clam sauce, without tomato, is inexcusable. The excuse given was that the sauce had been prepared that morning. The gratin appetizer contained too much bread, which completely covered the flavor of the fish. The fried fish also included vegetables, a detail neither listed on the menu nor communicated when ordering. The service also left much to be desired: the appetizer cutlery was left on the table for the main course, simply removed from the plate and never replaced. I had to ask for it to be replaced. And the bill, what can I say... definitely not up to par with the dinner. Excessively expensive compared to the quality and overall experience.

Everything was perfect, and the waiter was truly kind. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the lack of table linens. Unfortunately, for me, elegance and sophistication also come through this detail.
