There were 6 of us and all the dishes were plentiful and delicious (starters and main courses).
All served by very pleasant staff who speak French.
I recommend it without reservation and you will not be disappointed.

28/11/2024: My compliments to the Elettra restaurant, it offers a breathtaking view of the marina, the restaurant is accessible on foot because in the restricted traffic area you can have dinners or lunches based on fresh fish. The service is of an excellent level, family-run, average price €40.00 per person, the portions are also generous, so if you want to be on the safe side in Portovenere, come to Elettra.
07/11/2024: Porto Venere is a truly beautiful and elegant place. Add to that the fact that we enjoyed a truly quality lunch and the result is a beautiful day. Fresh and well-prepared mixed seafood starter; Really delicious grilled scampi. Compliments!

25/08/2024: This is an exceptionally good hotel. We stayed for a week, in a delightful junior suite overlooking Portovenere's bustling, beautiful harbour. During our week we walked around the neighbouring island of Palmaria, and between the Cinque Terre villages, taking advantage of the ferries and the trains. As such, Portovenere proved to be the perfect base for exploration.
As for the hotel - from the very start we were greeted by smiling, friendly, helpful staff in all areas of the hotel. This continued throughout the week - everyone seemed determined to ensure that we had the best possible stay. We arrived on the day of "Madonna Bianca", and enjoyed watching the celebrations from the restaurant terrace, where we ate an excellent meal.
The room was first-class: pristine and well-maintained, also quiet and peaceful when we needed to rest. The breakfast options were extensive, including a buffet area with a fine selection of the best Liguria has to offer. Service, again, was friendly and flawless.
It's no exaggeration to say that this is one of the very best hotels in which we have ever stayed. We were sad to leave. Congratulations to all involved in making our stay memorable and hugely enjoyable!

11/11/2024: Pranzo fra amici. Essendo fuori stagione non c'era molta affluenza. Ci siamo fatti consigliare dal responsabile di sale. Antipasti misti ottimi e ben usati, pescato del gg al salottino così come le fritture. Porzioni abbondanti

31/08/2024: Arriving at 8.30pm, the starter arrives at 9.30pm, okay it happens, at 10.30pm the first course hadn't yet come out, the place being full doesn't justify certain times, it's a shame because the location is very nice and the food is excellent, go there if you see it half empty
31/08/2024: Excellent experience, we went to this restaurant for dinner, we hadn't booked but after a short wait they made us sit at an outdoor table as per our request. All the staff super friendly and attentive. All excellent dishes, special mention for the appetizer of buffalo anchovies and aubergine caponata and the super herb tuna!

01/12/2024: Nice place, friendly staff, good food, the only thing I didn't like was the gentleman, I think the owner asked us if we wanted wine but I told him my husband is a teetotaler and I don't take it because otherwise it would bother my husband. .. he brought me a glass of wine anyway I thought he had offered it to me when I go to pay it is put on my bill paid 5 euros well ... he could have also told me I would have sent it back
27/11/2024: 100 people in a non-air conditioned or ventilated room where barely half of them can fit, hot drinks, frozen fish fixed with stock cubes. Solidarity with the staff for having worked in truly inhumane conditions. Without any safety and health requirements.

28/07/2024: Mangiato benissimo in un posto magico eravamo ti base alla palmaria. Preso il passaggio per arrivare a Portovenere abbiamo visto questo bellissimo ristorante in posizione invidiabile. I prezzi ci sembravano giusti e per fortuna c’era disponibile un tavolo chiaramente all interno. Preso spaghetti si muscoli frittura mista antipasto di mare e le cozze ripiene. Cibo di qualità e prezzo giusto. Complimenti!!!! Un posto da tornare e visto che abitiamo ad una quarantina di km ci torneremo sicuramente. Mangiare bene in un ristorante tutto pieno di sabato sera non è cosa semplice

27/08/2024: Now I know why I won't go there anymore. With the change of management it has lost a lot, I should have noticed it when I saw the tables all free. The penne and scampi pasta, with very few scampi and the sauce seemed "phosphorescent", the spaghetti with seafood, full of earth and broken mussels, and the price was too Dear. Rejected!

03/11/2024: Acabábamos de hacer senderismo/repeler hacia abajo desde la cima de la isla y acabamos de perdernos el 2 : 05 pm ferry de vuelta a la tierra firme, así que decidimos parar para tomar una copa. Éramos los únicos allí, ya que estaban empezando a cerrar por la tarde. Como tuvimos tiempo de matar hasta el próximo ferry decidimos almorzar. Empezaban a cerrar pero aún así nos hicieron un par de platos de pasta (espaguetis con almejas y una pasta pesto). Ambas eran excelentes comidas en el patio con una vista fantástica! El servidor incluso nos ofreció un viaje de vuelta si queríamos! Tuve una gran experiencia!
27/10/2024: On y est allé comme ça, car on avait juste faim en débarquant. On est tombé sur un lieu chargé d'histoire, un musée de célébrités avec une anecdote à chaque fois. Le serveur était aux petits soins. Ô. À mangé des pâtes aux vongole à la Giuseppe exceptionnelles, ça fait longtemps que je n'avais mangé de si bonnes pâtes. Je recommande cet endroit, sympa, romantique, à voir.

01/09/2024: Die Lage ist top. Vermutlich der Hauptgrund dafür, dass es dieses Lokal noch gibt. Der Service ist bemüht, aber nicht professionell. Das Essen ist OK, aber das war‘s dann auch schon. Auffallend ist, dass Einheimische wesentlich freundlicher behandelt werden, die besseren Plätze bekommen etc. als Tourist ist man Gast 2ter Klasse. Nicht OK. Keine Empfehlung.
25/08/2024: Could have been nice with the view, but the food kinda ruins it all. It’s not exactly the way I thought my night would go. I expected quality Italian food, but no… 22€ a menu to be still hungry at the end is unacceptable. At least the service was not so bad. But I don’t recommend you this restaurant if you’re looking for Italian food and huge meals.
