03/12/2025: I went here for a business lunch. For my first course, I chose trofie al pesto, which was truly excellent: a generous portion and a bold flavor. A small bottle of water and coffee were served. I spent €17 in total, a reasonable price considering the adjacent restaurants and the fairly central location. They also have a wood-fired oven for those who prefer pizza.
Everything was perfect. As for the decor, I'd just say it wouldn't hurt to update it. Recommended.

The concept is absolutely extraordinary – for us, in the best possible way! There's a surprise menu, where you have to choose the basic dish (meat or fish +/- vegetarian) in advance, and the chef then buys specially for that. Some of the ingredients come fresh from the garden. The food was simply perfect in every aspect (freshness, taste, appearance, quantity, etc.). You can feel the joy and the hosts' own standards.
The atmosphere is informal and very warm. The location is a bit off the beaten track and very stylish. We had the perfect menu, including dessert and a digestif, and an unforgettable evening!

20/10/2025: Excellent location in the center of Diano Marina and accessible to the beach. Excellent cuisine. Friendly staff. Very clean room. In my opinion it deserves at least 4 stars, if not 5 stars.
12/08/2025: The hotel is in an excellent location in the center of Diano Marina, easily accessible from both the beach and the streets of the historic town center.
The staff is extremely friendly and always available for any occasion.
The rooms are very clean, thanks to the equally helpful staff who clean the rooms from top to bottom to ensure guests feel comfortable and relaxed.
The waiters in the dining room are very kind and helpful. The food is excellent.
Practically everything is clean, with a great view and a convenient location, and the food is very good.
I recommend it for anyone looking for an excellent guesthouse at a reasonable price.
The family that runs it wants to celebrate the history of the establishment, which has been open under the name "Grande Hotel Paradiso" since 1893.
I give it 5 stars.

12/11/2025: Nothing special. It's located in the pedestrian zone of Diano Marina, which might not be the most pleasant experience, given that the street is narrow and people walk too close to you.
27/10/2025: The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the dishes are carefully crafted and prepared with the utmost care. We've been loyal customers for years, and I must say the crudités appetizer is the best in the area. Excellent wine selection. Highly recommended.

28/11/2025: Delicious and excellent value, especially on the first floor. Crudo al taglio, Camembert, fries...the place has two doors, one onto the square and one onto the main street. Very friendly waiter, good bread, and plenty of sauces.
28/11/2025: Staff ok, service ok, place ok, but the price flop, €3 for a cappuccino that can easily be described as only passable, seemed excessive to me, so my 2 stars are due to this!!

25/08/2025: Downtown restaurant, excellent food, trofie with pesto, spaghetti with seafood, prosecco, and very good desserts, good value, generous portions.
The only downside was the wait; I don't know if it was just a busy evening, but it was a bit long even though the restaurant wasn't crowded!
24/08/2025: The interior is a bit dated. There's plenty of space outside.
The food is good... I personally had the fresh linguine (and it tasted good) with shrimp and zucchini.
The mixed fried fish was also worth it.

25/11/2023: Pessimo, terribile! Abbiamo capito solo mangiando come mail il locale era vuoto. Dopo tre quarti d’ora d’attesa, i piatti sono arrivati uno x volta a distanza di almeno 5 minuti uno dall’altro (eravamo in 8!!!!!). Pessima la pasta, mediocri i secondi, discreto il fritto, ma gli antipasti erano proprio una tragedia, non commestibili. Prezzi non adeguati.
Mi domando come facciano a tenere aperto…
23/09/2023: Premetto che ho viaggiato molto (lavoro nel turismo) e mangiato in un gran numero di ristoranti…ecco, non ricordo di essere stata così male!!!!
Ore di attesa con pochissimi clienti, pessima organizzazione della cucina.
Cozze slavate, senza gusto e minuscole.
Grigliata da 30€ che nemmeno ne valeva 15€ con pesce spacciato per fresco ma con sapore di ammoniaca, come congelato male.
Fritto misto di gusto discreto ma con triglie crude.
Pasta che doveva essere con pesce ma che in realtà sembrava al pomodoro.
Non abbiamo osato provare i dolci e siamo scappati senza neppure un caffè.
La signora, non ha neppure avuto il coraggio di chiederci come fosse andata, forse ha colto qualche commento o forse sono bastate le espressioni schifate.
Per finire conto salatissimo, per compensare le cozze, forse!!
Veramente TERRIBILE!!! Mai piu!

25/07/2025: Abbiamo ordinato una frittura di calamari e trovato sabbia all’interno. Fatto presente alla cameriera ci hanno riportato lo stesso piatto con limone già spremuto da noi in precedenza e ancora granelli di sabbia. Poco professionali e nessuna scusa da parte loro.
