20/07/2025: A place that wins you over at first bite.
Living in Rome, this is one of those places where "they have to take you"... and luckily, many years ago, it happened! I still remember the first time: I was struck by the freshness, creativity, and authenticity of the products.
I returned recently, this time to introduce it to my partner, and we were delighted to find everything exactly as it was: top quality, authentic flavors, a warm welcome.
The appetizers never seem to end, each one better than the last, but the real heartbreaker was the tagliatelle with turbot, basil, and cherry tomatoes... a poem.
A restaurant that never disappoints and stays in your heart. Truly enthusiastic.
15/07/2025: There's no menu, or rather, there is one but it's not used. Let Giovanni and Fabio advise you. The raw and cooked appetizers are a must.

07/06/2025: We've been a couple of times.. The first one went quite well, let's say, and we go to a lot of places for both lunch and dinner..
The second time (this winter to be precise, last March 1st) we went with my sister and her whole family and contrary to expectations I made a terrible impression by bringing her there because the chef was rude and annoying both with her and with my partner.. He said that sharing a menu because you don't have much of an appetite is humiliating and in bad taste (note that there were 8 of us and we spent well over 200 euros).....
He basically decided what the orders should be and the fish was also mediocre.
Despite publicly complaining about the low turnover (on Saturday night there were only 12 of us)... He wasn't able to please the few guests, complaining instead about the high management costs.. 🤦
Obviously he'll never see us again and it's a shame since we're also a large family. 🥂
It may have been a bad night but to be on the safe side, we will definitely not eat there again!! 🤷

02/07/2025: The quality of the pizza is very good, we went mid-June and, even though there were quite a few people, the Frittini arrived in a few minutes and the pizzas in about ten minutes! Recommended! ;)
23/06/2025: Great food. We really like the pizza dough, Congratulations.
The service is always friendly and helpful.
The environment, given the building, is very spartan even if well-kept.
Simple but good on the outside. Inside, given the shape of the building, it can be a bit noisy if there are a lot of people.
Even at the last minute they found us a place even though it was Saturday.
I would say everything OK.

03/05/2025: Da sempre riferimento quale pescheria di fiducia, quest'anno la piacevole scoperta del Bistrot. Stasera lo abbiamo provato per la cena assaggiando antipasto di crudi, di cotti, sauté di cozze, primi piatti di cui spaghetto alle vongole per i bimbi, favolosi scialatielli alla seppia e tonnarelli ai carciofi e mazzancolle per noi. Tutto ottimo. Servizio attento. Prezzo onesto Consigliatissimo.

28/06/2025: Had lunch with the family yesterday and it's an excellent restaurant!! Beautiful, well-kept, clean and impeccable service with two fast and precise guys. The cuisine is excellent and a special mention for the orecchiette with clams and mussels... wonderful!!!!!! But the whole lunch was an alternation of truly unique flavors and tastes... compliments to the manager... we'll be back!!!!!!!!

09/07/2025: Everything was delicious, absolutely recommended for the fish, which tastes fresh and is truly well-cooked. The staff is extremely friendly. The atmosphere is truly well-kept and welcoming. I really have nothing negative to say.
06/07/2025: We came back here again for a dinner with friends.
We booked for 9pm and immediately sat down. After a while we asked if it was possible to order. The waiter was obviously pissed off with very little desire to explain what was included in the certain menus, in fact we took the first thing that was told to us and that was it.
Starters without fame and without praise but given the price it can be accepted.
The first course for the umpteenth time is inedible, overcooked pasta and little seasoning (tasteless).
The squid was quite tough served on a bed of sautéed chicory (really good) and a side of grilled vegetables.
We took a white wine (satrico) served practically at room temperature and then asked for a bucket that arrived with only water inside to cool it.
Between the starters and the main courses almost two hours of waiting.
I'm really sorry because this was the fourth time we've been here and each time it seems to get worse

26/05/2025: I'll start by saying that my partner often goes to this restaurant.
Last Sunday we went to this restaurant and after having a spritz (very watered down) and a tonic water we sat down for lunch. We ordered a bottle of wine and given the heat we opted for a light wine, on the menu there was this 12 vol. Pecorino. Cost 18.00 euros.
When we got to the table we realized that it was really of very poor quality but obviously we had chosen it. After a while I went to look at the price on the internet and honestly I noticed that the tavernello costs more.
I expressed my disappointment to the waitress, but her tirade about the fact that in the restaurant the wine obviously costs more and insisted on our choice was inappropriate.
When I pointed out to her that we were eating and that she could go she turned around saying: "then don't bother me."
The owner, a kind person, apologized for what happened and did not allow us to pay for the wine.
But in the meantime we ruined our lunch because of the rudeness of the waitress.
Beautiful location.
