05/04/2025: I went for lunch with my wife, intrigued partly by the numerous videos of the owner Diego and partly by the reviews I read where it was always highlighted: higher prices than average and generous portions... My opinion? Simple….. Diego is a professional passionate about his work as well as being a very nice person (as in the videos, he is like that). The fish is of excellent quality, the place is very nice and welcoming, the staff is very helpful in explaining how the place works also because here we need to clarify a fundamental point: the portions... all of them... THEY ARE REALLY ABUNDANT AND LOADED WITH FISH!!! It's the way we operate and from here, if it's true that the prices are high, you have to think that 2 people (maybe even 3!) eat plenty for each course. The staff explained to us well what their philosophy is and we put ourselves in their hands. The result? Full bellies and super satisfied with what we ate….. I will definitely be back, as I definitely recommend it to everyone!!

19/05/2025: We've stayed in various hotels, including other Best Western hotels, and this location is by far the dirtiest and most run-down. The dirt and neglect are so extreme that I see health risks and would advise people with asthma or allergies, in particular, against staying here. In the bathroom, there's mold on the ceiling and shower. The shower is extremely calcified and greasy – no one has cleaned it properly in a long time; it's truly disgusting. The toilet isn't mounted on the floor; it's only held in place by the water pipe and wobbles to the sides. The water tank above is missing a cover, so you can feel drops of water spurting out when you flush. Furthermore, the flush is questionably loud, like a horn. Waking up in the middle of the night and flushing wasn't an option unless you wanted to wake the other person. The air conditioning system is full of dark deposits inside and smells extremely musty and sour when running. The bed was also sagging; Instead of a double bed, we only got two single beds loosely placed next to each other, and the two pillows per bed were extremely (!) hard; both were also the same firmness, only their heights were different. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the room was also poor. There was hair, dust, etc., in various places, and dirt flew around when the curtains were moved. To make matters worse, no one took our complaint seriously. We therefore wanted to speak to management and were told to wait until "later," so we even returned to the hotel after checking out to meet the manager. Contrary to the announcement, we were told that the manager would be working away that day, and their willingness to act therefore only amounted to a temporary phone call with the manager; the manager had dismissed all complaints. The only explanation I can honestly give for why the phone call didn't take place while we were still there is that they hoped we wouldn't come back, so they wouldn't have to deal with us any further. In any case, we felt very uncomfortable and slept poorly. We didn't run the air conditioning and didn't even shower. This really shouldn't happen in a hotel, and we didn't feel welcome as guests either, which is a shame. We were persuaded to book based on the hotel's photos, among other things; these, of course, bear no resemblance to reality. The breakfast, by the way, was very simple, but okay. Personally, we would never come back and strongly advise against this hotel.

18/04/2025: This place is wonderful. Efficient, quiet, great food, outstanding staff. Everyone from Angela to the on site restaurant was perfection. Location is great not walkable but a very short taxi ride to town. We stayed at numerous hotels in Italy and would not hesitate to return. Informative displaying in the lobby, well maintained landscaping. and always outstanding staff. Thank you Angela for making us feel so welcome.

14/04/2025: Frequento spesso ristoranti di alto livello, dove qualità, coerenza e professionalità vanno di pari passo con il prezzo. So cosa mangio e riconosco perfettamente quando mi si vuole prendere in giro. Il cameriere ha avuto un atteggiamento di finta gentilezza dall’inizio alla fine: sorrisi forzati, zero attenzione reale e un tono quasi infastidito quando abbiamo osato segnalare un problema. Un servizio freddo e superficiale, tutt’altro che all’altezza del contesto che cercano di vendere. Passando al cibo: i “ravioli cremolati con tartufo e gamberi” si sono rivelati dei banalissimi ravioli ricotta e spinaci, con tartufo grattugiato come se fosse parmigiano (zero aroma, zero eleganza) e gamberi buttati sopra a caso. Nessuna cremosità, nessuna armonia. Una presa in giro, punto. Poi gli gnocchi con asparagi e gamberetti: immangiabili da quanto erano salati. Li abbiamo restituiti e nessuno si è degnato di chiederci scusa, né tantomeno di proporre un’alternativa. Totale disinteresse, come se fosse normale servire un piatto così e ignorare il cliente. Infine, i “gamberi viola di Ponza scottati” si sono magicamente trasformati in semplici gamberi rossi, senza nemmeno una spiegazione o un minimo di onestà. Un posto che si atteggia a ristorante di livello, ma che nella realtà è poco più di una trattoria rivisitata con pretese gourmet. Esperienza pessima sotto ogni punto di vista. Mai più.

03/03/2025: Restaurant overlooking a petrol pump on the little house, perhaps this is the only "flaw" inside, the environment is quite welcoming, they also have a small room for children to play. Quality of food more than good, grilled fish which I really liked. Fair price.

28/12/2024: Mah....un' accoglienza del tutto fredda... Locale rifatto da poco ma dal aspetto più da trattoria...il cibo è discreto ma senza pretese...antipasto base, quello che facevano negli anni 80 (2 fette di prosciutto,1 di salame, 1 di capocollo,1 pezzo di formaggio, mozzarella e verdura grigliata ma peggio di tutto la bruschetta col Pan carrè)...il pane era "vecchiotto".... Se passiamo alle pizze....non erano malvagio ma Purtroppo la prima senza sale e la seconda troppa piccante.... Il bagno era freddissimo e con una finestra con vetro rotto "ancorato" al telaio...pericoloso x i bimbi.... Mi è piaciuto l idea della sala gioco ma forse bisognerebbe aggiungere qualche giocattoli in più. Il parcheggio è grandissimo.

27/04/2025: Ristorante incantevole e perfetto per passare una domenica in relax con la propria famiglia! Cucina tradizionale ottima e servizio eccellente.. professionalità e gentilezza al primo posto ! Torneremo sicuramente

26/01/2025: Pessimo locale poco fuori Alatri. Se chiedi il menù ti arriva un plastificato con proposte di menù fisso che ti spiegano le portate che arrivano con diverso prezzo, senza specificare il tipo di cibo proposto.Ne ordiniamo due da €40. Arriva un antipasto composto da un tris di insalata di mare ( congelata) , fagioli con surimi patate lesse e pomodori, due bruschette di cui su una c'era una fetta di pomodoro olio e origano salato e sull'altra una fetta di zucchina grigliata con sovrapposto una fetta di pomodoro, pesciolini fritti secchi., crocchettine di supplì e due palline incomprensibili.I primi ( bis di primi) abbiamo fatto scegliere allo chef visto che quelli elencati dalla cameriera sembravano tutti di nostro gusto. È arrivato un risotto alla pescatora, anch'esso con pesce congelato, scotto ed insapore. Tra l'antipasto ed il primo sono passati circa 40 minuti. Dalla fine del risotto e la richiesta del conto, ovviamente senza che arrivasse il secondo primo, l'arrosto di pesce ( così lo chiamano), il contorno e il dessert ( come prevedeva il menù) altri 40 minuti. Il cameriere non sapeva nemmeno cosa ci avessero portato fino a quel momento e caduto dal però va in cucina e ci riporta verbalmente quanto era la spesa . €60 buttate, senza ricevuta .. dimenticavo abbiamo bevuto acqua e vino . Per recensire serve per forza mettere un voto. A Voi 1 stella è pure troppo. Da dimenticare.

26/01/2025: Bad experience, frozen food, overcooked, tasteless... change jobs. Terrible welcome, between one course and another they forget you and that's why we asked for the bill before getting everything that was expected for the chosen menu. Yes, because you can choose a fixed menu with different courses and prices, the waiters will list the different specialties that you can't find written anywhere. Highly not recommended..👎
