01/10/2024: Place criticized for no reason or rather in Italy the concept that quality and service are paid for is still not accepted. For me the quality of this place is difficult to find around then the price is discussed
22/09/2024: On September 22nd, 2024 we were guests in Ventotene with our sailing yacht. To end the beautiful day we went to Zi''Amalia for dinner. The waitress took the order. Another waitress comes and tells us that it is the opening of the season and that the bottle of wine we ordered is out. We didn't like the wine offered instead, so we ordered a bottle of Prosecco. As she leaves, she discusses it with another waitress, who comes again and says that the Prosecco is out, that today is their last day and that they are closing tomorrow. We get the impression that they are trying to sell expensive wine to non-Italian guests. Since we spoke Italian, we also understood the conversation between the waitresses. The food was very good, the atmosphere was nice. When we asked the lady who brought us the bill whether they would be closing tomorrow, she replied: no, why, we are always open.
This confirmed our impression, which is a shame.

Ho detto tutto.....
10/03/2024: Siamo entrati in un locale praticamente vuoto. Abbiamo ordinato antipasto e primo per noi e primo e secondo per le bambine.
Il rombo in crosta era freddo, tutti i piatti assolutamente insipidi per l'assenza di sale. Porzioni modeste (abbiamo ordinato due tipi di frittura per 3/4 persone abbondanti, ce ne hanno portate per massimo una persona ciascuna). Per i primi, nonostante non ci fosse molta gente (una ventina di coperti, compresi noi) ci hanno "consigliato di ordinare un solo tipo di primo perché poteva essere un problema (?????). Dopo un'ora ed il locale ancora vuoto ancora non erano ancora arrivati i primi (ne abbiamo ordinati 3 sughi differenti, per 8 persone). Quando sono arrivati, la pasta era scotta, il sugo sciapo, e di pesce, una leggera ombra.
Esperienza molto negativa e da non ripetere. Mi dispiace per le potenzialità di questo ristorante di pesce che però risente di mancanza di organizzazione, professionalità e prezzi più adeguati al loro scarso servizio.

16/11/2023: We came to eat at this restaurant on the recommendation of friends, I must say that we had a great time, the manager Jeton was very kind and friendly, he advised us on the best, we started with exceptional raw meats and then moved on to the first and second courses, top quality!! Cozy environment with a relaxing atmosphere. I recommend it!
02/11/2023: Yesterday with friends I went to taste the delicacies prepared in this restaurant located in Rome very close to Villa Borghese.
I must say that the restaurant, small but welcoming and with the possibility of eating outdoors, made a wonderful impression on me.
Very nice location and uniquely furnished.
Very balanced, well presented and above all innovative dishes.
It ranges from raw to cooked with balance and taste.
Use of the highest quality raw materials.
Excellent wine list currently being expanded.
I can only advise you to stop by and above all let yourself be advised by the truly skilled Chef and the trained staff who are attentive to customer needs.
Parking difficult but not impossible.

25/07/2024: The chefs and fishermen restaurant has closed in its place there is a pizzeria if you call to book you will not receive a clear answer due to the closure of the business
01/07/2024: This fish-only restaurant is located in the nightlife area, called TESTACCIO, in the heart of Rome near the Tiber. Having a celiac wife, I'm always looking for somewhere new. When we have to book we say to ourselves: is an old and well-known restaurant better or should we try and take a risk with a new one? This place was a pleasant surprise. I tasted right here, for the first time, spaghetti with sea urchin pulp (my passion that I share with Inspector Montalbano) strictly fresh (they have them sent from Sicily). A very valid alternative is the Fisherman's Pan with fresh pasta and a rich mix of fish. The appetizers are all good, cooked for me and raw for those who love them 😁 to conclude you have to find a little space in your tummy to taste the various types of ORIGINAL APULIAN PASTICCIOTTI.
