05/03/2026: Didn't live up to expectations. The facility would be very nice, but it's neglected. The room was large but poorly maintained, the bathrooms old and full of limescale, the lights didn't work, and the heating was noisy all night. Breakfast was barely adequate. The spa was a joke, with a cold sauna. The only positive note was the lady who gave us massages, who was kind and professional (though she's an external employee), but she wasn't provided with enough towels or disposable kits. Sorry, but I'm not satisfied.
04/03/2026: Regarding the attached restaurant: excellent atmosphere, ideal for couples and a romantic dinner, attentive customer service, and high-quality food and dishes. Ample outdoor parking, interesting views of the castle from the outside, and an adjoining swimming pool.

21/12/2025: The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff is friendly and available to answer any questions about the dishes. The food was truly a fantastic experience: completely gluten-free and lactose-free (except for the bread, but a gluten-free option is obviously available). The best part was being able to swap plates to sample the different specialties, even with my celiac friend. The delicate meat melted in your mouth, and the unique risottos made the experience truly fantastic. To round off the dinner, the delicious homemade desserts were the icing on the cake.

01/03/2026: La Mamma in Rotofreno was a guarantee for me, unfortunately last night it wasn't like that. The gratin fish appetizer was tough scallops, the gratin tasteless and not at all crispy. The potato-crusted sea bream was flavorless and full of bones. The table service also got worse; the bread was brought after the appetizer, the main course... but the cutlery never arrived... The waiters pass by but don't look at the tables, so if you need anything you have to make an effort... I'm sorry, but €138.00 for food like this...
06/12/2025: I think it deserves the highest rating because the food was quality, reasonably priced, and generous portions. I recommend the seafood. I haven't tried the pizza. Friendly service and a quality atmosphere.

17/02/2026: I have just one word to describe the food experience in this restaurant: "disgusting". The duck had a bitter flavour and it was like eating cardboard. The place was almost empty for dinner. No menu available, they bring what they call a "degustazione" menù of their choice. You can only choose whether it's seafood or beef. It only consists of two entries and left me with plenty of appetite for something more to eat, but not here.
It's a shame that such a restaurant can operate in one of the most culinary renoun regions of Italy.
04/02/2026: A modern and well-maintained restaurant with a simple, relaxed atmosphere. The food is good quality, with carefully prepared dishes and balanced flavors. The menu is varied and caters to a wide range of tastes. Service is fast and friendly, with no unnecessary waits. A convenient place to eat well in Piacenza, whether for lunch or dinner.
The focaccia is top-notch!

21/10/2025: We chose to celebrate our anniversary here; it was both our first time there, and we had a truly wonderful time.
We chose the tasting menu, and everything was truly delicious.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere was intimate and peaceful.
We extend our heartfelt compliments once again to the chefs and all the staff.
We will definitely be back to celebrate our special occasions 🥰

31/03/2025: Un pochino fuori mano ma niente di che. L'accoglienza è cordiale. I posti sono comodi e le tavole ben preparate. La scelta di pesce ci permette di passare una serata con piatti piacevolissimi senza affrontare una spesa eccessiva. Anche dopo molti anni ci torno volentieri.

28/04/2025: Pranzo della domenica, il posto è semplice ma ben curato e pulito e fortunatamente non c'è confusione in sala. Salumi e primi (io ho provato le tagliatelle funghi e pancetta) erano molto buoni. Per secondo abbiamo preso due battute di carne di ottima qualità. I prezzi sono più che giusti. CONSIGLIATO.
01/04/2025: Luogo accogliente, cucina ottima dello chef Andrea, prezzi buoni , Marco e Nicoletta due persone squisite che ti fanno sentire come a casa. Consigliato ci ritorneremo molto presto
