08/03/2026: The restaurant has a modern look and is tastefully decorated. The place was packed, so there was a bit of a wait, but the service was very attentive. They served both pizza and seafood and meat dishes. The pizza isn't Neapolitan, but it's not thin and crispy either. It wasn't the best I've ever had, and the prosciutto was so salty it was unpleasant. However, I'll be back to try the restaurant's dishes, as they look very inviting.

04/03/2026: Unfortunately, I have to change my review to a negative one. Previously, upon arrival, the table already had welcome appetizers: seasoned black olives, battered zucchini, and fried bread balls, which were very nice. Now, they've only kept the fried bread balls. I think that since they decide to offer such a free service, it doesn't make sense to reduce the service later if you obviously lose points. Either you don't do a gesture from the start, or it's unfair to reduce it as time goes by. The pizzas are truly gigantic, very thin, nothing to complain about; they're very good. It's a shame they took the homemade cheesecake off the menu, which was delicious. Last time, however, we had the millefeuille, which was even too big, but we didn't really like it because it was very dry and made your mouth feel sticky. They offer digestifs—limoncino, melon, and licorice liqueur—brought directly to the table in glass bottles, so you can drink as much as you want. However, I've noticed that between lunch and dinner, the service is less attentive in the evening. At lunchtime, it's better. However, the last time we went there for dinner, it was rather slow and distracted. Our water wasn't brought long after we'd ordered it, our drinks were even brought first, and the chili pepper oil for our pizza took so long that it almost made no sense to use it anymore, given that it was running out. A disappointment.

08/11/2025: I went there with a very dear friend for the first time and even though it was the menu for workers from the South I had a really good time. I recommend it to anyone passing through the area. The staff is very friendly and you can even have a laugh while eating.

05/10/2025: What can I say, you can never go wrong eating here, it's hard to find a better place in terms of quality and price.

01/02/2026: A simple, spartan, unpretentious place. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the waiters always make sure to ask for each dish whether the customer prefers it mild, medium, or strong (it can be really spicy). It was our first time at a Peruvian restaurant, and it won't be our last. The dishes are all tasty, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are high-quality. The value for money is average. You get what you pay for and you'll be full. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of dishes, but the staff will help you choose if you're new to Peruvian cuisine. I loved the Ceviche Don Teo: both the raw and fried fish were very tasty without being overly seasoned or heavy. This was my first time trying the plantains, and I'll definitely be back. Don't expect a wide variety of wines, beers, or soft drinks: ask the waiters for recommendations, and they'll prepare a typical Peruvian drink based on the dishes you order.

06/01/2026: We ate well, the pizza was very good, and the paccheri were also good. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and smiling. The place is very nice. The restrooms were very clean (just a little chilly in winter). Dogs are allowed.

The wood-fired oven always adds something extra. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. 08/03/2026: Nice place, no private parking, but it's easy to find a spot on the nearby streets. The pizza by the meter is very good and easy to digest. Fast service, and the staff are all super friendly and helpful, especially Dustin. I highly recommend it.

15/02/2026: Exceptional experience! I went there last night for Valentine's Day. There were five of us, and we all agreed we'd be back. Excellent staff (the waiter with glasses was very kind, as was the head waiter), excellent food (I ordered spaghetti carbonara and I must say I was surprised). And finally, great atmosphere, great hospitality, great location. We were close (lucky me!) to a soccer team. The guys managed to make me laugh even though they weren't with us. (Of course, they noticed me and started talking to me, which was the only embarrassment, since I'm a Bordeaux). I didn't expect to have such a wonderful evening. I really enjoyed myself (partly because of the company, partly because of the other table, partly because of the waiter with glasses who wanted to bring me a teaspoon to convince me to try at least one dessert, and partly because of the guy who came by to take our orders—I think he was the manager, who also deserves a 5/5. In short, I really had a great time and I'm sure this restaurant will join my regulars. The five of us spent €131 (I kept the receipt as a souvenir). I had the best Valentine's Day so far. Oh, and by the way, at one point they even had a birthday surprise for a lady in the back; they also turned off the lights to bring her a cake (happy birthday, Mrs. Carmen!!) - how sweet! Nothing, but where do the soccer players play over here? 😅 We looked for the writing on their sweatshirts, but they were all sponsored places. (I remember Amélie & I don't know who else's bar, and then MC Progect's company in Podenzano.) We, however, would have liked to know the name of the team. In any case, with or without the boys, the waiters made the fantastic even more fantastic. I'm Denisa, and maybe if you read this review of mine, when you see me again I'll ask myself: "Why did I do it?", but this evening had to be told.

21/12/2025: I go there for lunch a couple of times a month. I have inconvenient work hours, but they've never said no and have always tried to accommodate me. The place is clean, and the staff, both in the dining room and kitchen, are welcoming. I'll gladly return.

05/10/2025: Spectacular seafood dinner. The appetizer was incredibly fresh, followed by a seafood risotto with plenty of clams and shrimp. Completely satisfied. Renato's service was impeccable. The atmosphere was intimate and pleasant. It's truly perfect for romantic dinners.

01/02/2026: We discovered Lo Scrajo almost by chance, planning a day trip to the Castello di Rivalta Trebbia area and craving seafood. We couldn't have been happier. We thoroughly enjoyed everything: from the kindness of Signora Imma and her staff, to the quality of the dishes, to the way they were served and the appropriate waiting time between courses. I can't comment on the wine this time, as I can't drink it these days, but the wine list, especially the sparkling ones, is extensive. The final bill, relatively high—perhaps unusual—is, in my opinion, justified by the quality and the setting. So, THANK YOU AGAIN, AND UNTIL NEXT TIME! At the very least, Lo Scrajo is the ideal place for important occasions, to make a good impression on friends or acquaintances. And let's not forget that, for those who want to enjoy typical local dishes, the area offers a wide selection of excellent trattorias and restaurants. Rivergaro, like all this vibrant hilly area not far from Piacenza, is worth a visit, not only for those simply seeking a day trip to explore castles and villages, but also for those who enjoy walking, cycling, golf, and horseback riding. And allow me to mention the Church of San Martino, within the walls of Rivalta Castle, for the beauty of this parish and, above all, of its community. I haven't attended such a beautiful Mass in a long time.

26/12/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I went to Lo Scrajo for a business lunch with my boss and colleagues, and it was a truly positive experience. We were given a small room all to ourselves, with a large table, which was much appreciated for its quiet and privacy. The restaurant is beautiful and refined, definitely not for everyday dining: an ideal spot for important occasions or business lunches. We chose a fish-based menu, while a colleague who isn't particularly fond of fish opted for a meat menu. I can't tell you exactly what cut it was, but I saw a nice piece of meat arrive, looking very inviting. As for the fish, the quality was excellent: we shared a fish appetizer for three, with three starters, followed by a pasta dish with scampi and clams, and a fish-based main course (like sea bass) accompanied by vegetables and dessert. Everything was homemade, cooked to perfection, and with great attention to detail. The wine was excellent; I'm no expert, but I found it very good and paired well with the menu. Overall, the cuisine is high-quality, meticulously prepared, and well-executed. Special mention goes to the service, which was truly impeccable: the waiters were very polite, attentive, and professional. They served the women first, then the owners, and finally us, respecting every rule of good manners. I dropped a fork and they immediately stepped in to replace it; when I mentioned that I'd already picked up the second one, they were still very kind. Truly excellent service. The restaurant is located in the square in Rivergaro, a very beautiful location. I imagine they might also have outdoor seating in the summer (I'm not sure, but the space suggests it). In conclusion, a welcoming, elegant, and high-quality restaurant. I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it without hesitation for important lunches, special dinners, or business occasions.
