07/04/2024: They booked our table for 12pm because they differentiate arrivals so as not to clog up the kitchen. In fact they were very fast in service....super delicious food, very generous portions, friendly staff in a nice place. 8 of us ate: paccheri with prawns, strozzapreti with seafood, passatelli with the scent of the sea, pappardelle with spelled with Taggiasca olives and flakes of ricotta, mixed fried food, French fries, dessert with Chantilly cream and strawberries. Super recommended

03/04/2024: I'm from Cesenatico and I know many places but here near home I didn't expect to find such good and gourmet pizzas. Accustomed to always having ham and mushrooms, here I trusted the waiter and ordered the "mortazza" pizza (mortadella, pistachios, gorgonzola and much more), wow, how good!! A truly special mouth-watering pizza (which I don't have!!) I will definitely be back to enjoy another specialty and another dessert!
01/04/2024: Very nice place, very kind staff (we were looked after by Martina), carefully prepared and particular dishes.
The fried food is very light and crunchy. Well done to the crew, keep going.

24/04/2024: Ho preso antipasto freddo era nella norma a parte la mazzancolla insapore e insbucciabile si distruggeva poi ho preso tagliolino allo scoglio era orribile pomodoro acido cozze vecchie e un retrogusto del tagliolino rancido sicuramente vecchio se non vecchissimo il tutto cioè antipasto freddo e scoglio prezzo 40€ vergognoso conosco tantissimi ristoranti a Cesenatico 10 spanne superiori e a cifre più ragionevoli con menù completi a 45€ compreso il bere.
Ho voluto provare questo ma non ci metterò più piede spero che qualcuno faccia controllo mantenimento alimenti al più presto.

03/04/2024: Traditional fish restaurant in the center of Cesenatico, the portions are decidedly generous but the quality is excellent. I really liked the mixed hot and cold appetizer and the spaghetti with clams, they don't have too much salt and for me this is a great advantage in the kitchen, you can taste the flavor of the fish, especially the mussels which were also perfect when cooked. Courteous and attentive staff, the place is renovated and has a pleasant setting, competitive prices, I highly recommend it.

Remember to include some labels from my Tuscany on the wine list.

31/03/2024: In my past, Sloppy Joe's represented a disco bar where people danced to good music in the late 90s. Today it is a beautiful place where you can spend moments of pleasure for the palate, based on fish and moments of relaxation with a view of the Levante pier of Cesenatico. Large and at the same time intimate, bright environment, with impeccable service and cuisine. Remarkable wine list, also with local wines and bubbles from Romagna, which is difficult to find. The convenience of parking for customers as well.
Lovely place.

30/04/2024: When the reviews are excellent culinary guides, the fish cooked excellently, the spaghetti with oil, garlic and spicy anchovies: excellent; the mussels Tarantina style: spectacular; fried fish with crunchy fried vegetables...one link leads to another; the pizza: the buffalo libidinous; the beef fillet with gorgonzola: bbono; sweet and sour anchovy and Tropea onion crostini taken for dessert; the top desserts: the chocolate cake with mascarpone: to hurt; millefeuille with Chantilly cream and strawberries... Indescribable; mascarpone cream... Come and try it. To return.
After a year: bringing over 30 people after having praised the excellent cuisine and nothing to add about the food; ...but: even when there is a large influx of people, one cannot fail to be polite by handling customers rudely, there will certainly be alternatives in Cesenatico, where in addition to good food, friendliness and respect are never lacking not even under stress.

07/04/2024: Once upon a time....now FORGET IT!
I have known the place for at least 20 years and even if something changed in the management over the years, the quality and prestige remained the same but something irreparable happened in the last few months. I hadn't been there for about a year and a half but today I had the happy idea of going back. The half-empty place on a Saturday night already made me feel strange (but when ever that I remember), then...
A DISASTER!!
Food as painful as in the worst dumps, appetizers without flavours, octopus that doesn't even have a tyre, first courses that are beyond cold with overcooked and sticky pasta light years away from what they were at the time. The dirty dishes, I asked twice to change my plate which had old encrusted food on it and I saw very well that the waiter around the corner gave it a hit with a cloth and brought it back to me.
The rock of the best times is dead, the sorbet in hot glasses is completely the same as crushed ice, an invented and tasteless semifreddo. There was no point in continuing because in the end the only thing I wanted was to leave as soon as possible so as not to set foot there again.
I paid more than I expected including what was replaced for their mistakes, actually HORRORS.
I think it has changed management but also nationality. Nothing to say about nationality, of course, just that everyone must cook and serve the traditions of their own country, Italian cuisine is luxury stuff, only for Italians and not even for everyone.
We lost a flag.
El Paso is DEAD.

Penne with tomato that tastes like fish, bread unworthy of the name looks like pan carrè and to finish fish soup in broth with dry bread (the same but already cut into slices in the morning and therefore dry) I would like to say to the chef, perhaps he doesn't know, crusty bread is used!

The staff was friendly but I particularly appreciated Jessica's service who, despite the very tough day - Easter Sunday - stood out for her smiles and kindness.
