04/08/2024: Dyrt och trångt. Utanför står det att sängarna kostar 25. Men väl inne MÅSTE du dessutom betala 10 till för ett parasoll. Då borde paketpriset stå utanför.
18/07/2024: We liked this beach club the most out of all the one we looked into in Sorrento. Yes, it is expensive to pay for a sunbed and umbrella (50 euros for 2 people) especially coming from the U.S. where we take public beaches for granted, but it felt worth it for a few reasons. First of all, when we went on a weekday in the afternoon even during the summer it was easy to get a spot. We made a reservation, but it didn't seem like we needed one. We were able to get 2 sunbeds and have drinks brought to us at our sunbeds. The limoncello spritz was excellent. Second of all, you can't beat the experience of swimming in the Bay of Naples next to ancient Roman ruins. That was just incredible. Third, we were able to leave our belongings at our sunbeds without any worries that someone would take them because there was a lot of staff around. I would not have felt comfortable doing that at a public beach. We came back for a second time on a weekend, and we should have made a reservation because even at 10:30 AM it was already extremely busy. We had to wait 10 minutes to be let in, and then when we were let in we were only able to rent lounge chairs and not sunbeds. That still wasn't too bad though because the lounge chairs and umbrella were a little cheaper (around 40 euros for 2 people) and we still got to swim, which was the main reason we wanted to be there anyway. The drinks and refreshments are a bit expensive since you're paying for the view and the experience as well. Don't come here if you want a traditional beach experience though. There is no sand. The sunbeds are on a pier. Personally, that did not bother me because I would rather not have sand all over my feet and belongings.

05/08/2024: Worst pizza ever, and the service it’s a shame. When I arrived I ask if they charge extra for gluten free food and they said NO, and when they brought me the bill they charged me, and not only that, they were incredibly rude. Don’t go, you’re gonna pay for nothing good. 0 of 10

27/08/2024: Frozen products offered. I ordered gnocchi and they have ice inside, the fork was having a hard time to catch them. Staff not kind and they got offended by telling them my food was frozen.
22/08/2024: Posto carino ma il cibo lascia un po a desiderare, poco sapore sinceramente ed il servizio mediocre. Non ho altro da aggiungere.

26/05/2024: Harassed by the woman here when we chose another bar for a drink. Harassed again as we left the area with the woman using foul language (in English). Why anyone would go here to eat or drink is a mystery!
25/05/2024: Next level rudeness and thievery, from the hatchet faced old harridans that run this excuse for a restaurant. We had just arrived in Sorrento after a very early flight, this place was close to our hotel for lunch. One of the sisters sits on a stool outside with a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp, accosting and haranguing passing tourists to come into her rundown excuse for a restaurant. We had a pizza and were told they only take cash ( they can take card payments, they just don't want to.) The next evening we were waiting for the shuttle bus into town and I decided to have a beer whilst waiting, she brought my beer, my wife wanted a small sparkling water, she brought her a litre bottle which we sent back and asked for tap water instead. She brought the tap water then proceeded to berate us for not ordering food. Clearly eating there the previous day hadn't bought us enough credit to enjoy a beer in peace. I downed my beer and went to pay, my beer was 6 euros and the bill was 10 euro, she had charged my wife 4 euro for a small glass of tap water! Avoid this place like the plague!

14/07/2024: A heavenly small hotel with charming staff. Beautiful views, peaceful and gorgeous gardens. Town a short distance either nice cafes and restaurants. Free hotel shuttle bus to and from sorrento four times a day in high season. Best of both works with sorrento bustle and village peace and tranquillity. Highly rate and keep returning!!

12/09/2023: We stumbled on this place after walking to the Villa di Pollio Felice. What a treasure to find. The bar staff were super friendly and the food and drinks we had were great. The music was pretty loud when we got there around 6pm and there was a youthful crowd, sunbathing. You can swim in the sea off the rocks from here and the sunset is worth any trek you might make to get here.

14/10/2023: Passeggiando ci siamo fermati. Bella location sul pontile con mattonelle del pavimento a vetro. Tavoli apparecchiati molto minimalist stile mare. Servizio un po’ lento e con qualche dimenticanza. Pesce molto buono. Abbiamo preso: 2 antipasti, 1 secondo, 2 dolci, acqua, 1 coca, 2 bicchieri vino e 2 caffè: euro 125!
Capisco che siamo a Sorrento sul mare a Sorrento … ma un bel MA è di dovere. Non penso co tornerò.
29/08/2023: Non riesco a capacitarmi di come un normalissimo lido balneare con pontile sul mare sicuramente carino possa offrire piatti da autogrill e servizi quasi nulli a dei prezzi assolutamente assurdi.
Questo è l’esempio lampante di come l’imprenditoria italiana del settore turistico sia totalmente inadeguata, poco lungimirante e mediocre.
Sono disposto a pagare senza problemi per qualità, servizio, ambiente ma non per la mediocrità.
Un giorno la “zizzinella” finirà e tireremo le somme

22/09/2023: Io che amo le Osterie di una volta: tovaglie a quadri, con i tovaglioli coordinati, piatti di ceramica candida e il liquore a fine pasto servito in bottiglie di fortuna e lasciato sul tavolo nella speranza che il consumatore sia morigerato...qui regnano solo l'ombra e gli arredi, i gingilli, le vetrinette, le bomboniere e i fiori di plastica...
Gli antipasti, il secondo di pesce ed i contorni serviti hanno perso l'anima e sono lontanissimi dalla qualità e quantità dei tempi che furono.
Facit: Tornate al vero passato o passate al "fresco" attuale.
04/08/2023: opzich lekker gegeten. helaas toen we naar een wijnkaart vroegen bleek die niet aanwezig maar werd ons wel een wijn aangeraden. bij het betalen bleek die fles duurder dan beide hoofdgerechten bij elkaar. voelt toch als opgelicht worden.
weer wat geleerd.

06/06/2024: We booked a table for lunch, however it was not necessary as we were the only ones eating while the rest of the people were hotel guests getiing drinks by the pool. Staff were too busy to be attentive to us, they brought a wrong pizza and had to go to the bar to get the bill and pay it. Prices were reasonable for what the food was, but overall wouldn't visit again.
