09/02/2025: I had lunch at President with my 11 year old daughter, to give us an experience to have together and to remember, and it was exactly like that. It was like taking a journey through time and space, pampered by the loving care of the chef and his wife Laila, who accompanied us on our journey, guiding us through the folds of history and flavours. The staff is very professional, as happens in every starred restaurant, however here I also noticed an extreme care for the interpersonal relationship with the customer, which made us feel welcomed and accompanied the entire time. Looking at the other tables, I can say that at the center of the President there is the customer, each customer, who does not feel like just a number, as can happen in fine dining. Moving on to the dishes, we crossed the centuries, breaking the sigilium bread accompanied by a very delicate buffalo milk butter and a tasty satura, finding ourselves in a thermopolium of ancient Pompeii. We crossed space, landing in the eastern Mediterranean with the grouper, a perfect example of a very successful contamination that enhances local flavors. My daughter loved the sumac powder and got mine too. Fusilloni are a pure concentrate of fish cuisine, in which the sea comes into its own in every bite. I can't express the delight of savory custard in words, you have to try it. However, in my opinion, you cannot leave the President without having tasted the artichoke, a truly unique experience. I recommend closing your eyes when the dish arrives, so the aroma of smoking will catapult you into an alley in the Vesuvian hinterland on a Sunday during the Easter period, when the air is invaded by the delicious scent of artichokes roasting on the ovens. Then, putting the whole artichoke with all its filling in your mouth gives you the sensation of savoring the delights of our Easter tradition all at once and all together. Finally, the President greeted us with the warm embrace of chocolate in different consistencies (and here too my daughter brushed her plate and half of mine), leaving us ecstatic and grateful to the chef, Mrs. Laila and all the staff. In short, it was really like taking a journey together, moving just a few kilometers and bringing back with us emotions that we will remember forever.

06/01/2025: A real culinary experience! A taste explosion but also a visual one because, yes, the chef was able to create an atmosphere around the volcano. A nice surprise in any case, I recommend.

02/02/2025: I came to Italy for the first time and I really wanted to try Italian delicacies, and among what I have tried, this restaurant has exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I will return without a doubt.

01/02/2025: WHAT A HORROR. I ordered a takeaway Pizza (cold) and a portion of chips (hot)…. Let me explain better, as soon as I entered I got in line to order my pizza and chips, 2 people in front of me and so far everything was ok, there was the owner and one of his employees at the cash register who took the orders (only if you to order the employee you had to wait for the person behind you who placed his order with the owner, even if you came first... on my turn the gentleman at the checkout recognizes one of his customers and lets her move forward, she orders, I I wait, when it's my turn (again) he responds to a call for an order, I wait... unfortunately understood with the employee, I place the order and in the meantime two other people pass in front of me because the owner at the checkout was taking other orders (from people after me). I THINK THE discomfort ENDED THERE, but no. When they have multiple pizzas or simply added fried food in a single order, they do not complete and deliver immediately but prepare multiple deliveries at the same time. This is to say that, as in my case, with the order of a margherita pizza and a portion of chips, I waited for my (ready) pizza to cool down, only because I had to wait for them to pack the chips. You can observe a pile of orders in the kitchen waiting to be completed…. All pizzas to cool. I leave the pizzeria and immediately eat the pizza since it felt cold right from the box, the mozzarella was half out of the pizza... probably due to the fact that the pizzas they put on hold are placed on tall refrigerators... Pizza nothing special since it's cold, BAD service, frozen chips, not fresh, tasteless and questionable quality... Nice place, but HORRIBLE service.

22/01/2025: A great place. It was a very nice experience eating here. It's a family business and everyone was very professional and friendly. It's cheap and tasty too. We were well satisfied with a Primo + dessert. The children (3+5) were welcome and well looked after. There is a children's chair and Pommrs or Gnocci. The aquarium was brilliant and the children spent a lot of time with it so that we adults could eat in peace. :) Thanks for the lovely evening!

09/01/2025: Una de las mejores comidas que hemos comido en Italia. A pocos pasos de nuestro hotel. Éramos un grupo de 10 , buscando un buen almuerzo después de una caminata por la mañana a través de las ruinas de Pompeya. El propietario, Roberto, nos llevó a una sección del restaurante en la parte trasera del edificio, que teníamos todo para nosotros. Él fue tan amable de sugerir una comida para nosotros que ofreció una muestra de aperitivos para empezar: mozzarella fresca con bruschetta y buñuelos de brócoli, seguido por el pulpo más tierno y delicioso que cualquiera de nosotros haya probado. Junto con el vino, sacó botellas de los vinos de la casa, tanto tintos como blancos, hechos de uvas regionales. Siguió con dos platos de pasta casera: strozzapretti con salsa de tomate, berenjena y parmigiana, así como ñoquis de patata en una salsa de tomate ligera, junto con un plato de salchichas y brasciole. Luego, baba de ron casera de postre -la MEJOR baba que he probado- servida con botellas de “digestivos” caseros: limoncello, meloncello (melón) e hinojo. Nunca 10 personas han comido tan bien, y tanto, por tan poco. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente.

23/12/2024: Nuestra cuarta vez en Add'u Mimi, maravillosa bienvenida como de costumbre por el propietario Roberto. Familia de seis personas se sentó rápidamente, agua y vino subito. ¡Y entonces comenzó el transporte de extraordinarios platos locales! Primero, prosciutto con melodía y buratta, maravilloso. En segundo lugar, grandes platos familiares de pulpi, algunos enteros, algunos picados, rebanados finamente salteados de melanzano y calabaza, bruschetta, gambas, fritti polpette, ecellente. Tercero fue el rigatoni en salsa pomodoro con parmesano, delicioso. El cuarto era melanzano parmigiana delgado, derretido en tu boca. Quinto fue braciola, salsiccia, piel de cerdo, chuletas delgadas, perfeto. El postre era rhum bob o pastelería casera [riccotta torte], estupendo. Y licor de hinojo más expreso. Muchos lugareños llenaron el restaurante, sabiendo la calidad y el servicio. Muy recomendable.
