26/10/2024: We liked the hotel itself, the central location right by the sea and the room with a sea view. It was clean and functional in terms of furnishings. (A fridge and glasses in the room wouldn't have been bad.) We were the only guests most of the time. This seemed to be a reason for the owners not to put too much effort into it for us. Breakfast consisted of a few packaged items, hard and dry bread and pastries, 1 croissant - there was no cheese, cold cuts, eggs, fruit or juice. From the third day onwards we received at least a few slices of cheese and melon when we asked, but we had to ask for it every day. The kitchen only opens at lunchtime, so there are e.g. B. no eggs. We had to look for the staff for a second cup of coffee/tea. No one ever came by to ask if everything was okay, even though there were enough staff there. When there were a few other guests in the house at the weekend, the breakfast buffet suddenly became a little more extensive. It just wasn't worth it for the two of us. During the eight evenings we practically always had the same food: pasta with sauce, iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and, for the main course, either fried sardines or a very thin pork schnitzel.
