27/08/2025: We ate very well, both for lunch and dinner, at this lovely, traditional restaurant beneath the Aragonese Castle. It was like having your feet in the water...
For lunch, I had the fried paranza verace, one of the best I've ever eaten. For dinner, the seafood linguine: excellent, flavorful, rich... Just what I was looking for. Highly recommended.
03/08/2025: Very good Italian restaurant...very well located, the pasta and pizzas are very good, good white wines ishcia (the frontellini) seafood salads, pasta f mers....etc all very good...waiter and waitress very nice as well....as the person at the cash register anna😛🇮🇹

12/10/2025: We visited this establishment with my mom on our trip, not knowing anything about this place, but we were captured by the cozy atmosphere. We were looking only for a light lunch, since the temperatures were high.
Food was amazing, drinks too, ingredients are high quality, the staff was kind and helpful, and very accomodating. Prices comparable with other similiar restaurants in this area. We highly recommend this place.
10/10/2025: Very good address!!! The pasta and polpette are excellent!!! And the octopus is great! Very warm welcome and very pleasant service!

30/09/2025: The views from the roof top are beautiful. The food unfortunately was not the best. We tried the steak and it was not cooked all the way through, we asked if this could be done a little more, but due to waiting our chips went cold and when the steak came back it was awful. They literally reheated the steak and bought it back. Just don't have the steak.
14/09/2025: A truly positive experience. The Ischian-style rabbit was amazing, not to mention the bucatini served as an appetizer, and the staff were incredibly kind. 🔝

19/10/2025: I went for a company dinner to spend an evening at a place with music, and an acquaintance recommended this pesto.
The place isn't bad inside, but it's completely anonymous from the outside.
The staff was kind and attentive.
I gave the food 2 stars, even though I didn't appreciate anything out of the 3 courses.
The appetizer was bitter, and some of the people I was with even burned it. The pasta (nothing special) was good, but it was good.
As for the meat roll, almost everyone didn't like it or didn't finish it (perhaps the choice to put the pepper inside wasn't a good idea).
Had the dessert been ready and sitting on the counter since noon?!?
During dinner, the music was already a bit too loud, as you could only speak to the person sitting next to you, and to communicate with the person in front of you, you had to raise your voice quite a bit.
The singer… sang several songs, without a moment's thought (kudos to his lungs and perseverance), but he was out of tune, shouted, and killed most of the songs (1 for effort).
The DJ saved the evening, but for such a small venue, the sound system is very powerful.
The price was for a fixed menu + extras.
I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone, sorry.

Stylish, yet very welcoming place. My friends and I have been there a few times. Always surprises, never a disappointment.

15/11/2025: The waiter tricked me into a double portion. He didn't blink an eye, he was very friendly, the view was beautiful, but the price on the bill was also double :(
15/11/2025: It was the first time we had a terrible meal in Ischia. The wait was incredibly long, the menu items were unavailable, the pizza dough was obviously frozen, the prices were outrageous, and worst of all, the owner said, "There's no point in complaining; we're the only place open."

02/11/2025: The staff is friendly but it's useless to try to 'catch' the customer at the entrance... unfortunately I had a terrible experience with your pizzas twice, I ate badly and paid too much... This morning I tried to avoid the pizzeria so as not to make another mistake... however, I haven't had any better. This is the standard I think, polite yes but in a restaurant you want to sit down to eat without drinking liters of water for the next two days.
24/10/2025: Quite good, but way too expensive for the quality! We felt like suckers at the end...😅 4 euros cover charge, per person!!! In all our trips to Italy, we've never paid such a price.
6 euros for a glass of wine, tasteless...
8 euros for a slice of tiramisu, which is good, but still excessive for Italy (they advertise the desserts without seeing the menu).
Honestly, I don't recommend it. Go to the Dal Calabrese restaurant instead; we paid half the price the day before, for just as good, if not better!

13/07/2025: Faites Attention, personnel très souriant mais arnaqueur ! J ai commandé le poisson blanc du jour à 7,50€ en montrant le menu au serveur, c était ok. Sur la note était noté 75€ que j ai fait remarqué à la patronne. Elle m a dit que c était le bon tarif. Je n ai pas pu rester plus longtemps pour discuter j avais le ferry.

20/01/2025: Magnifico ristorante in riva al mare; piatti ricercati e mai banali; ottimo servizio, carta vini davvero ben curati. Uno su tutti la location, incredibile; si mangia direttamente coi piedi nella sabbia. Leggo di recensioni che parlano di prezzi alti; sono un cultore di ristoranti e sinceramente per la qualità che ho potuto constatare in questo posto il prezzo mi sembra in perfetta sincronia. Non capisco dove vadano le persone a mangiare pesce. Ma voi ci andate a fare la spesa? Un caro saluto a Vincenzo e tutto lo staff di cap e fierr

29/04/2025: Het restaurant ziet er uitnodigend uit, mooie plek, daar valt niets op aan te merken. Bediening maakte een "nep "vriendelijke indruk, maar daar valt mee te leven. Het eten was matig tot redelijk (ook daar valt mee te leven). Maar toen kwam het moment om af te rekenen......op de rekening stond o.a. €5,- voor een klein blikje cola light, maar ook €16,- voor het bestek en de gedekte tafel, in mijn optiek belachelijk! Ik schrok dus dan ook van de rekening voor 4 personen (1 x pizza en 3 x pasta + 1 fles water en 2 drankjes ) ruim €115,-. Kortom, als je lekker wilt eten voor een schappelijke prijs, loop dan dit restaurant snel voorbij, er zijn diverse goedkopere opties in de directe omgeving te vinden, waar je voor veel minder geld heerlijk kunt zitten en eten.
29/04/2025: Per la prima volta in compagnia di un gruppo amici abbiamo conosciuto questo ristorante tramite social . Siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti abbiamo trascorso una serata troppo divertente.
Eravamo scettici non ci aspettavamo di vivere una serata del genere tanto troppo divertimento stiamo ancora sorridendo.
Ritorneremo in questo posto e lo consiglieremo a tutti.
vivere serate così in una taverna con la musica e gli spettacoli e un atmosfera che non può spiegare perché bisogna viverla.
spensieratezza allegria e serenità forse nemmeno più a Napoli si trova .
Grandi continuate così .

27/09/2024: Credo che delle Linguine all astice cosi buone non l’ho mai mangiate sull’isola ! Timoty, il ragazzo in sala è di una gentilezza unica. La location ti conquista , la cucina ti rapisce ma il conto ti stende ! La qualità però si sa , che si paga !
Per una sera speciale , si può fare
27/09/2024: Gardenia Mare es realmente un verdadero paraíso. La vista a cualquier hora del día es realmente espectacular - una imagen adjunta muestra la vista en nuestra primera noche mientras cenamos en el maravilloso restaurante al aire libre; la otra del Castillo era nuestra vista a la hora del almuerzo.
Tuvimos el privilegio de asegurar un apartamento en Gardenia Mare que era absolutamente excepcional. Fue muy bien amueblado y mantenido impecablemente limpio por la maravillosa dama que atendía nuestro apartamento todos los días. Tiene el patio más increíble; jardín privado con hamacas y vistas increíbles a través de la bahía, incluyendo la calle Anna Rocks y el Castillo. Pasamos muchas horas viendo los hermosos yates anclados en la bahía.
Sobre todo tenemos que dar un saludo increíble a Mauro, Tatiana, Silvano, Pina y todo el personal de Gardenia Mare - todos trabajaron tan duro para garantizar que todos tuvieran unas vacaciones encantadoras. La comida también es excepcional y estamos bien viajados a través de Italia. El pescado era fresco y sublime; la Pasta de Lubina increíble; el Atún divino y el Pulpo para morir! Mauro cada noche nos aconsejó sobre las opciones de menú. Él es un experimentado Sommelier y nos presentó algunos vinos increíbles cuando tuvimos el placer de cenar en su restaurante. También nos aconsejó sobre otros restaurantes que nos reservó.
Tenemos el privilegio de llamar al personal de Gardenia Mare nuestros amigos y esperamos volver a ver a todos en 2025.
No dude en reservar almuerzo o cena o incluso una estancia de un día o más en Gardenia Mare. No te decepcionarás.

29/12/2024: Fui aquí por el cumpleaños número 13 de mi hija. La comida y el servicio era absolutamente horrible, algo de la comida rozando la podredumbre. La comida y el vino servido a los turistas era barato y absolutamente horrible. Definitivamente hay un menú y servicio “local” y un menú y servicio “turístico”. ¡Si no hablas el idioma, evita a toda costa! Me sorprende que no nos envenenaran. Peor lugar que he comido, y eso es decir algo.
16/11/2024: Giornata splendida faccio una passeggiata a Ischia ponte con mia moglie.....ora di pranzo.... andiamo da Cocò....
Polpo e patate, spigola al sale, puntarelle, dolce e caffè.....
