22/10/2025: Friendly and welcoming staff, prompt and satisfying service.
Excellent view (photo) and very good food.
Appetizer: two mixed seafood platters divided into four; (photo)
First course: vermicelli pasta with mussels and zucchini flowers; (photo)
Dessert: classic tiramisu accompanied by coffee.
The only flaw is that I think the price is a bit high, but nothing outrageous.

28/12/2025: Pleasant and spectacular view. The road to get there is very narrow. Friendly staff and good food.
26/12/2025: Very friendly staff, located in an ancient mountain village. A splendid panoramic view. You can even see Vesuvius. The rabbit cacciatore, an Ischian specialty, is exceptional. The restaurant is frequented mainly by islanders because it is a bit out of the way. A car is required because it is very high up.

21/11/2025: Ottomano is a charming family run business with the kindest owners and servers. Not only did we try some of the best seafood we had in Ischia here, but the restaurant allowed us to stay inside with them even when they were closing, because of the rainfall that wouldn’t stop. We were unprepared and they kindly welcomed us to remain indoors as we enjoyed an espresso and cuddles from the owners dog. The mixed seafood appetizer is a must - it changed my opinion on anchovies for the better because of how fresh and lightly dressed in lemon it was. Everything is worth trying here. Thank you Ottomano!
26/10/2025: Taking the €5 taxi boat from S. Angelo to Spiaggia dei Maronti on October 6, 2025 (the day after the storm) was quite an experience for me. The sea offered otherworldly colors, and the visibility was so clear that I could recognize almost every house on the island of Capri. Things started off well for me!
I had already bookmarked the Ottomano in Hamburg. I was not disappointed: the view, the food (super fresh alici marinati to start with, gnocchi alla sorrentina for the main course), a full bread basket, a large bottle of water, coffee, excellent service, and fabulous value for money. In short: simply delicious and wonderful! Il mio nuovo luogo di felicità – grazie mille! Tornerò!

29/09/2025: Da Mario's is always a special address on the beautiful Maronti beach on Ischia! A very well-maintained stretch of beach with parasols and loungers, a super friendly staff, and excellent Italian cuisine! You can enjoy the delicacies on the beach terrace or directly on the beach! Delicious drinks complete a wonderful day at the beach. For us on Ischia, it's always a regular spot for several days!

28/09/2025: If you want to spend a fantastic day on the beach. Don’t go farther, you found the right spot, hard to imagine but true. The first place after the stairs on the right. Tasty food, nice and friendly crew. Fast service. Many and good variety on the Menu. You can have your meal right next to the water, what gives you great experience.

02/10/2025: This is the most delicious restaurant I've eaten at in Ischia. The grilled seafood here is top-notch. This kind of restaurant is suitable for diners with high taste requirements. Ordinary diners may not understand its cooking skills.
30/09/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant after visiting the Nitrodi springs. The owner is a professional and friendly person. We ate some truly delicious, mostly homemade dishes. The owner explained that everything we ate was from their own garden, except for the fish, of course. Surrounded by greenery, the restaurant has a covered terrace with a breathtaking view—not to be missed.

24/07/2025: E così un giorno arrivi ai Maronti, mare blu, ombrelloni bianchi, il sole che splende. Ti fermi e incroci lui. Il signor Massimo dell'Olmitello , proprietario e chef straordinario di questa perla ai Maronti. Una cucina squisita. Mio marito lo sfida con una tartare. Ed arrivano due tartare di spigola sublimi. E poi a seguire, un soute' di cozze, vongole e tartufi di mare, un piatto regale. E poi ancora una frittura. La migliore, e la più variegata sull'isola. Massimo è una persona speciale. Una persona che porta gli aperitivi sulla spiaggia, cura i clienti che festeggiano il compleanno arrivando con la torta sul bagnasciuga. Uno chef di altissimo livello, che ci fa conoscere sua moglie, gentilissima anche lei in cucina, e tutto il suo staff. L' Olmitello ce lo siamo portati nel cuore fino qui' a Roma, da dove scrivo. Persone così, gentili, professionali, allegre, che ti rendono la vacanza indimenticabile, se ne incontrano poche. A Ischia si incontrano. Ma Massimo è il top 1. Grazie. Mariella e Massimo da Roma
22/07/2025: Ottima la materia prima, ottima la posizione sulla
spiaggia .
Il proprietario ha una cura per il dettaglio davvero notevole , dai fiori ai tavoli alla cura della spiaggia .
Buona la scelta delle materie prime e l’accoglienza e’ attenta e cortese .
Sia carta che contanti sono ben accetti ( dividere il conto un po’ meno )
Una piacevole pausa ristoratrice sulla spiaggia con una bella vista su Sant ‘ Angelo .
