A beautiful island.
That alone would be enough to visit this place...but on top of that, the food is all superb and the service is attentive and meticulous.

08/09/2025: The memories were different... always welcoming and courteous, but the atmosphere had changed.
The prices were like those of a city restaurant.
It was wonderful to experience the golden age.

13/09/2025: Tonight I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and it was a wonderful experience. The view is simply breathtaking, and the atmosphere is special and unique. The food was perfect down to the last detail, carefully prepared and truly delicious. The staff also deserves a special mention: super attentive, friendly, and always available. A place I absolutely recommend and will definitely return to!

21/09/2025: We came to try this famous rabbit dish that gets so much praise;
Bucatini with a delicious, well-drained sauce, but when the rabbit was brought to us, it was floating in the oil. It had only one leg and one arm missing, the other half. The owner said his rabbits were tiny and that it was a whole rabbit! The pieces were tiny, practically bones... and on top of that, it was tasteless. It was basically white meat with no flavor, so we didn't even notice its excellence; and the price we paid was absolutely unreasonable!

Good location.
Good platter of cured meats and cheeses.
But that's where the good things end.
Tasteless onion soup.
Bucatini with rabbit sauce, uncombined and lacking in flavor.
Rabbit Ischitana-style, lacking in flavor, despite the abundance of seasoning, was completely disconnected from the meat.
Baba was almost dry and grainy, far from the average quality of Neapolitan products.
The house white wine was completely inconsistent and unsuitable.
Bottled wines were barely acceptable (sparkling white) or decent (Moio red).
The final price (€60 per person) was completely unjustified given the quality of the cuisine, even though the ingredients were of a decent standard.
I've attached photos to prove the reliability of this review, but don't be fooled by the beautiful appearance of the dishes; the flavor is something else entirely.

13/09/2025: If you find yourself at Maronti Beach, don't miss the "Da Mario" restaurant. Excellent food and very friendly staff.
29/08/2025: This establishment is well-organized. The space between umbrellas is very tight, with the constant fear of disturbing the neighbors. The view and the sea are beautiful. In addition to the bar, there's also a restaurant. Prices are slightly high. The first course starts at €20, with a cover charge of €2.50. I understand the seasonal nature and limited seating, but it's not justified.

24/07/2025: E così un giorno arrivi ai Maronti, mare blu, ombrelloni bianchi, il sole che splende. Ti fermi e incroci lui. Il signor Massimo dell'Olmitello , proprietario e chef straordinario di questa perla ai Maronti. Una cucina squisita. Mio marito lo sfida con una tartare. Ed arrivano due tartare di spigola sublimi. E poi a seguire, un soute' di cozze, vongole e tartufi di mare, un piatto regale. E poi ancora una frittura. La migliore, e la più variegata sull'isola. Massimo è una persona speciale. Una persona che porta gli aperitivi sulla spiaggia, cura i clienti che festeggiano il compleanno arrivando con la torta sul bagnasciuga. Uno chef di altissimo livello, che ci fa conoscere sua moglie, gentilissima anche lei in cucina, e tutto il suo staff. L' Olmitello ce lo siamo portati nel cuore fino qui' a Roma, da dove scrivo. Persone così, gentili, professionali, allegre, che ti rendono la vacanza indimenticabile, se ne incontrano poche. A Ischia si incontrano. Ma Massimo è il top 1. Grazie. Mariella e Massimo da Roma
22/07/2025: Ottima la materia prima, ottima la posizione sulla
spiaggia .
Il proprietario ha una cura per il dettaglio davvero notevole , dai fiori ai tavoli alla cura della spiaggia .
Buona la scelta delle materie prime e l’accoglienza e’ attenta e cortese .
Sia carta che contanti sono ben accetti ( dividere il conto un po’ meno )
Una piacevole pausa ristoratrice sulla spiaggia con una bella vista su Sant ‘ Angelo .
