18/01/2025: If you pass through Termoli and want to eat quality meats, cured meats and cheeses, Don Giovanni is the place for you. Welcoming and kind owner, he immediately puts us at ease and advises us in choosing an excellent Tintilia. Starter with a selection of excellent cheeses, cured meats from Molise and Abruzzo, and a fantastic stracciatella. But the best is yet to come: we ordered a fillet with green pepper which is among the best I have ever tasted, tasty and melts in your mouth. Baked potatoes like those at home. Excellent quality/price ratio. Must try.

17/01/2025: A one-of-a-kind experience! Davide, the owner, offers a warm and extraordinary welcome, always attentive to the needs of each customer. The house specialty? The meat! And what meat: "You cut it with a fork", Davide told us, and he wasn't joking! The staff is also impeccable: extremely knowledgeable about each ingredient, with timely explanations that enrich each dish. Eating at Don Giovanni is not just a meal, it is an all-round experience. The wine list offers a wide and varied selection, with local and non-local labels, designed to satisfy even the most expert palates. 18/02/2025: Great lunch! Kind welcome, elegant and clean restaurant, very fast. The menu is well presented, excellent quality and very fresh fish, without too many options. Small courses and higher than average prices, the presentation is not extremely complex, but rather simple. For the servings and quantity, I would expect a lower price. Overall the taste and experience was excellent, everything was delicious! I would improve the presentation given the price.

16/02/2025: The occasion to return was a threesome dinner with friends. The place is very welcoming and sober, like all the staff. Maintaining our habits, we tasted the menu in its entirety. The evening began with Falanghina wine from the Cieri cellars recommended to us by the sommelier, a welcome choice, followed by three tastings of mixed raw and cooked starters, an expression of freshness and harmony in flavours. For the first courses we followed the waiter's advice, two cicatielli with pumpkin sauce, saffron, crunchy chestnuts, monkfish and scampi. The other choice fell on cavatelli, scampi tails, clams and chicory. To say sublime and original is an understatement. Next for the second courses the choice fell on the roast fish, plentiful and well assorted. The freshness enhanced all its quality. To finish, an excellent ricotta bavarois. Super excellent value for money, originality of the dishes especially in the first courses, super excellent quality/price ratio. what more can I say...keep it up and thank you for the evening.

Among the appetizers and focaccias I chose the pizza... beautiful Italian, crunchy and thick at the right point, with an excellent choice of classic and special pizzas.

05/01/2025: Eravamo a Termoli con una coppia di amici,e ci viene suggerito questo ristorantino,poco prima del centro. Noi abbiamo puntato dritto al Pesce, Orata alla paesana ((con patate,olive,peperoni etc) cucinata bene e gradevole al palato,Calamaro ripieno e contorni .Avendo saltato i primi siamo tornati la sera per goderci lo spaghetto alle vongole(saporiti Lupini). Prezzi senza sorprese vedi menù . Per il vino sfuso fatevi consigliare da Stefano uno dei soci che serve in sala. Cortesi e gentili con tempi di attesa normali. Propongono anche diverse carni e piatti della tradizione Molisana. Quando tornerò a Termoli eviterò la calca del centro turistico e tornerò nuovamente qui in via Sardegna.

05/12/2024: Good pizzeria with wood oven, good cooking of thin and digestible pizza with various types and then the owner always present and ready to satisfy any requests that arise.

01/10/2024: I was in Italy for almost a month and ate gelato everyday. Sometimes 2 times a day. This gelato was the best of all tasted on my trip. As a former icecream store owner I have tasted a lot. The black cherry was wonderful as well as the vanilla and Carmel flavors. He makes his own mix and his attention to detail is on point. Prices were very reasonable as well! Keep up the great work my friend!!

08/02/2025: Weekend in Termoli. Wandering around the ancient village I ask a boy resembling Lenny Kravitz where to listen to live music. He smiles and answers me: there's no live music in Termoli, but if you want to drink some good English beer, come and visit me tonight at the Dickens, I work there. Every promise is a debt and must be honoured. And here I am at the pub where I spent a wonderful evening, thanks above all to the company, but also thanks to the overflowing kindness of Antonio who welcomed me with joy. The first round was offered by him and his smiling face I will not easily forget. The pub is fabulous. Advised

04/01/2025: Lo abbiamo trovato tramite google maps per fare una sosta durante un lungo viaggio di ritorno. Posto pulito e lontano dal traffico stradale. Fanno piatti di terra e di pesce e la sera aggiungono anche le pizze. Adatto anche per piccole cerimonie. Personale gentile e cortese e ci hanno accolto anche senza prenotazione. Buon rapporto qualità /prezzo

01/01/2025: Prenotato qui per caso, perché non conoscevo. Locale sempliciotto e nulla di che; servizio molto lento ed improvvisato; cibi senza arte ne' parte e scarsa qualità del pesce...in molte portate puzzava ed in ogni portata sempre le solite vongole e cozze piccine cucinate allo stesso modo. Mi dispiace...mi auguro davvero che io abbia beccato la giornata sfortunata, altrimenti... Soldi buttati!
