06/04/2024: Delicious carbonara, great looking seafood pot, friendly atmosphere and a wonderful hostess.

05/04/2024: First time in Venice and this has been quite a pleasant experience. We arrived to our hotel late in the evening with very little hope to get proper food. To our surprise this cosy restaurant was not fully booked and welcomed 3 hungry tourists with proper Italian hospitality. Would recommend scallops as a starter and traditional tiramisu for dessert. Pay attention to the interior which has a lot of interesting details. Our waiter was a lovely lady, unfortunately I didn’t ask for her name, but she made our visit very special. Overall 5 stars experience

04/11/2023: Découvert par hasard lors d'une incursion sur le Lido, nous avons passé un moment suspendu comme on aimerait en connaître olus souvent. De la prévenance et le sourire du serveur, de l'attention du patron jusqu'au cadre, tranquille et aux mets, simples mais excellents, qui nous ont été servis, tout a été parfait ! 10/03/2024: Siamo arrivate alle ore 20:10 e la cena ce l'hanno portata alle ore 21:30. Il cameriere oltre a rispondere male, ha dato precedenza a tavoli arrivati molto dopo di noi... Questa poca accortezza che sia dovuta al fatto che eravamo un gruppo di amiche di origine straniera? Per di più ci ha fatto pagare anche l'involucro degli avanzi. Ora, se un locale é contro lo spreco, questo non Aiuta alla causa... Rimaniamo molto amareggiate per il trattamento.

12/02/2024: The environment is "normal" and the pizza is excellent. The price is also very good. I don't need anything else.

08/05/2024: A small gourmet oasis and an absolute recommendation. A look into the kitchen is a feast for the eyes and the palate. The wine recommendations were perfect and the price-performance ratio was optimal.

31/03/2024: Food was pricey and yet inedible. Yes, Venice, I know - high prices are to be expected. But at least I would expect escalope not dry as a rubber (literally could barely cut it with a knife) and salty (which normally indicates trying to hide bad meat) - literally returned it and preferred to go hungry. Seafood spaghetti for my son were a better option and still overcooked spaghetti in Italy makes me scratch my head... And yes, 3 euros per person extra even for my 5 year old when I didn't even order a single thing for her, cause she was not hungry...

17/03/2024: Particular place with proposals for refined and well-made cichetti. The Spritz, offered in 2 variations, is fantastic! Trained, courteous staff who make you feel at home. Special mention for Luca who took care of the service in a commendable way.

02/04/2024: I went with my wife and daughter. They were very flexible to fit us in as the place is quite small. The food was excellent including for the vegetarians in our group and the friendly staff made expert recommendations.

31/03/2024: Warning to tourists: The menu outside doesn’t match the menu inside and we were blatantly overcharged. We wanted vegetarian options which were posted outside. We had a glass of wine when we noticed the inside menu and were happy to just have the wine and leave. They forced us to have something as they made it a point “they are a restaurant”. Someone else came out and rolled his eyes at us not wanting anything due to dietary restrictions. He then said since they are a restaurant we need to order food. He said he could do pasta with tomato sauce. We said fine and we would share. Another eye roll from the server. If the place had been busy or others waiting to sit at tables I would have been more understanding. When the bill came out, it was clearly overcharged €18 for the pasta and tomato sauce that anywhere else was €10 max. Also each glass of house wine was €8, again usually €3 or €4 (€6 max) anywhere else. When asked about the overcharge, they took offense and then rolled eyes again. When he didn’t have a response for the overcharge he offered a discount on the bill which only came out to a couple of euros. It wasn’t worth the back and forth. Just please know this information before dining here. Everywhere else we have been has been great.

25/03/2024: Competent staff, it is definitely not a tourist menu place, which is very evident from the quality of the raw materials and the final price, right for what I chose. And finally the tiramisu, a pleasure. Truly recommended.

29/03/2024: The lady is so nice and friendly. The hot chocolate is absolutely amazing, I got 2🤩 perfect for a cold morning. It’s a very local place where everyone knows everyone so definitely not touristy.

16/03/2024: I’m so glad I came to this place! I was staying nearby and wanted somewhere quiet and relaxed to have breakfast, but I was a bit nervous. The lady who served me was so nice and patient with me, even with my very poor Italian skills. In the end I ordered a cornetto and espresso, and I think it was the best I had my whole time in Venice. It was quiet so I ate at a table by the window to watch the rain and felt so peaceful. Since it was still early I went back and also ordered a macchiato which was also amazing. The price was also incredible compared to other places I visited. I think only around 3€ for two coffees and delicious fresh pastry. If I can come back to Venice I’ll come here again!

22/03/2024: Lovely hidden gem by the waterfront yet away from the crowds. Delicious fresh seafood dishes soundtracked to tasteful jazz. Staff were charming and the cuisine a delight!

02/04/2024: The staff was very rude, except for one waitress. The food was floating in oil. And when we paid, the boss asked if everything was okay. When we told her what was wrong, she just turned around and made drinks and ignored us. So we definitely can NOT recommend this restaurant.
