29/09/2025: Whenever we're in Aosta, Hostaria del Calvino is a regular stop.
Excellent food, from the mixed platter to polenta concia, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, etc.
The pizzas are also truly excellent.
Yesterday, Sunday, September 28th, I brought a group of friends who were delighted.
See you in December for the Christmas markets.

05/10/2025: The Quattro Formaggi pizza I had is really nice, and the Lamb Ribs are wonderful, and green salad performs regularly.
The regular size pizza is already large which is around 10 inch. I ordered too much, and I took the tiramisu back to my hotel. Really recommend!
03/10/2025: The portions are generous, but the overall experience was disappointing. The place is dated and in need of renovation. We waited over an hour for our food after ordering, a sign of poor organization.
The staff seemed understaffed and poorly coordinated, resulting in long waits and little customer service. Added to this, the prices were high for the quality offered. A real shame, because the location is excellent and the place has potential.

My dad and I both ordered pizza, and they tasted amazing. The only thing missing is pasta. I get it – it’s a pizzeria, and they do an amazing job there – but it would have been nice to have a few more options. There was a lasagna on the menu, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available that day.
The staff is super friendly, and the prices are reasonable – pretty much the same as other places in the area.
So if you’re looking for a good pizza, go there! 😋

29/08/2025: Everything was great, the food was excellent; we always opted for the traditional fare.
We spent four days in Breuil-Cervinia and dined here three times.
The owners, Tino and Simona, are incredibly kind, cheerful, helpful, and attentive to their customers. This is the second year in a row we've chosen their restaurant.
The service is quick, and the wait times are reasonable.
The atmosphere is very quaint.
If you're staying in Breuil-Cervinia, a stop here is highly recommended.

14/06/2025: Sono stato ieri sera a cena in questo ristorante molto bello e arredato con molto gusto.All’entrata ci ha accolto un ragazzo molto bravo e ci ha fatti accomodare in terrazza.Mentre sceglievamo le portate la proprietaria una donna molto simpatica e gentile ci ha consigliato.I piatti erano FANTASTICI!!! Finalmente ho potuto mangiare la Fonduta alla Valdostana che era sublime!! Io lo consiglio a pieni voti sia per la cucina ma anche per la gentilezza e dolcezza dello staff! Ci tornerò di sicuro ogni volta che vengo in valle! Complimenti a tutte/i !!!

10/05/2025: Fabulous welcome in a really nice setting. Everything from the welcome to the food and wine were first class.
We had the Alpine menu 4 courses for €40 it was delicious and fantastic value for the quality of food. They have a huge wine selection and you can choose from reasonable prices or treat yourselves.
The service was impeccable and made for a great night for my wife’s birthday.

01/06/2025: Ristorante con piatti tipici valdostani. Non abbiamo prenotato, ma ci hanno fatto accomodare in un tavolo adeguato al numero di persone e non striminziti come può capitare da altre parti senza la prenotazione. Da migliorare un po' l'arredo, ma si può provare e riandare.

28/07/2025: Per qualità prezzo uno dei migliori locali in Valle d'Aosta. Menù che cambia ogni stagione, dolci fatti in casa e piatto del giorno (che cambia veramente ogni giorno, una rarità ormai) sempre allettante.
Le titolari onestamente poco propense a "sbattimenti" (vedere recensioni meno positive), ma per me è una certezza.

20/03/2025: Visited while in ski holiday , 2 adults & 3 kids. Realised we had been here 3 years ago when we last visited La thuile. They’ve renovated the dining room a lot so it’s really nice looking. Way more modern in style. Staff are so friendly. Wine list is good value. Food is very simple. Lots of pizzas which are good. Lamb chops are nice, 5 chops. Tagliata is nice too, but rocket was very limp. Sirloin steak good too. Overall meat dishes are nice, not amazing but that’s ok. Tiramisu was superb
08/03/2025: We noticed really quickly after we arrived to La Thuile that you need a reserveration. But the host offered us really quickly a take away alternative which we thought was a great suggestion. So 4 !!!! minutes wait - not more - not less - and we walked away with our very tasty veggie pizza. Great alternative!

18/07/2025: Très bon repas dans un cadre chaleureux. Nous avons mangé des pâtes fraîches aux cèpes (tagliatelle ai funghi) délicieuses, avec un service très rapide et sympathique. Pour un dîner tranquille et vite rentrer à l’hôtel après une journée de randonnée, c’était parfait !
13/07/2025: Siamo a Breuil Cervinia da qualche giorno, abbiamo trovato il posto dove mangiare un ottima pizza, fatta con materie prime dí eccellente qualità, il sapore del pomodoro spicca per eccellenza, personale molto gentile e professionale e prezzi ottimi torneremo.
