06/01/2025: Bistrot Languorino was a discovery that made our stay truly special. We dined there almost every evening, and each time it was an unforgettable journey into the heart of authentic and genuine flavours. The restaurant is the perfect example of how culinary tradition can tell stories through dishes. Each course was a celebration of local flavours, prepared with fresh, local ingredients, which evoked distant memories, almost as if time stopped for a moment.
The dishes offered are simple, but full of character, and every bite seemed to tell a story of passion and care in preparation. The traditional, yet innovative cuisine has been able to perfectly combine the comfort of home food with a touch of refinement that has made every meal special. Furthermore, the service was always welcoming and familiar, which made the experience even more pleasant.
I highly recommend the Bistrot Languorino to anyone looking for a corner of authentic culinary tradition, where each dish is capable of evoking emotions and distant memories. An experience that remains in the heart.

Excellent service and selection of wines paired with the dishes. The dishes are those of the Tuscan tradition but with that pinch of sprint that doesn't hurt. The lamb rump was simply divine.

19/01/2025: Ho soggiornato presso l’albergo “Palazzo del Capitano” con il quale questa trattoria collabora. Siamo stati sia a a colazione che a cena. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il locale è molto carino ed offre una grande varietà di piatti, molte dei quali anche per vegetariani! Il personale è gentilissimo e super disponibile. I piatti sono STREPITOSI. Consiglio assolutamente!!! ⭐️

11/12/2024: overall very well looked after place, the service was impeccable, the only flaw is the closing time of the kitchen which, objectively speaking, closing at 2pm on Saturday for lunch seems reductive to me, on the other hand the dishes they "churn out " they are to say the least... sublime... and the pockets suffer a little from this... however I highly recommend it...

07/11/2024: appena entrati si capisce subito che rispecchia la trasandatezza del paese..luogo sudicio e decadente sotto tutti gli aspetti..gestito male e maldestramente dalla proprietaria e dalla sua vice che farebbero meglio a cambiare lavoro..la ulizia non è il loro forte...SCONSIGLIATISSIMO !!!!
06/11/2024: Insomma... colazione nella norma e servizio brusco. La posizione fa ma non basta. Quando ritorneremo proveremo altri locali.

14/01/2025: The Hotel/SPA is closed and has been a while, but the river below it has Thermal Springs which are available for a natural bathing experience.
You can cross the bridge and that was OK even whilst the seemingly permanent security was present.
The area is beautiful and the experience is really lovely, the depth is quite shallow and the water can be quite hot, but you can find a nice sport to relax and find a rock pool with a temperature which is to your taste.
Its really a beautiful spot, shame the derelict hotel is there, it should either be renovated or removed.

Scegliamo la location per gustare i tipici piatti della val d’Orcia; menù ridotto, vano il tentativo di rendere gourmet quanto proposto, tagliata di pessima cottura.
Il locale anni 80 ma non il prezzo decisamente inadeguato.
Estremamente garbato il personale di sala.

27/08/2024: This place has great beer! My wife and I stopped in for 2 beers on draft, and they were so good we went back and bought 5 bottles to take away.
We had a white IPA (Arthemesia) and a blonde ale (Iris). They both were delicious. We particularly liked the white IPA - hoppy, easy-going-down, fresh, summery.
We live in Asheville, NC, USA (Beer City USA), where there is a craft micro-brewery on every corner. This place would do well in Asheville!
San Quirico D’Orcia is a super cute town too - our favorite so far in a month in southern Tuscany.
27/08/2024: Visited here on a trip to this adorable town. The beers on tap were excellent and the person working was very nice, accommodating, and spoke enough English to tell us about their beers.
My partner and I enjoyed it so much we went back after lunch and got bottled beers to have back at our vacation rental. The bottled beer has been just as bright and delicious as what we had on tap. We are from Asheville, NC in the US which is famous for its beer and I can say this craft beer is as lovely as the best of Asheville.
