24/07/2024: Montecatini Alto fills up pretty quickly for dinner. We had not made a reservation, but decided to explore for ourselves, and found this restaurant eager to seat us, at an outside table, which is exactly what we had wanted! (Most of the other restaurants were not taking walk ins for dinner.) I ordered the Rocket with Ricotta, pine nuts and a Balsamic Sauce for a salad, and Gnocci with blue cheese sauce for my main course. Both were fabulous. Then, I treated myself to a delectable dessert that was some kind of chocolate volcano cake. It was amazing! The staff, inside and out were friendly. There is a restroom inside, that is actually more than one stall if one needs to use the facilities. It was very well maintained. I highly recommend enjoying a meal here. You won't be disappointed!

11/07/2024: Wir hatten eine Vorspeise zu zweit bestellt (Brot mit Olivenöl und Pilzen )Diese war gut. Als Hauptspeise Nudeln mit Hackfleischsauce. Die Portion war mehr als übersichtlich und das Hackfleisch musste man suchen !Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend!

12/08/2024: Super consigliato! Posto al centro della piazza di Montecatini Alto, locale molto caratteristico. Personale accogliente e pronto a rispondere alle richieste del cliente, abbiamo mangiato un tagliere in due e una focaccia con battuta di manzo spettacolare!

14/08/2024: We ordered Pizza Margarita. Half portion is enough for 1 person. Materials were scarce. Drinks came very late. The environment was decent and beautiful. Music volume is too loud. He plays quality songs. Centrally located in the city square.

29/07/2024: Quick stop to get pizza for dinner turned out to an amazing experience :) Cosy and interesting atmosphere. Loads of things to see there 😃 Restaurant is run by a family, they also make vine. We bought a bottle of white vine which was delicious! Pizza was also great, never tried pizzadoburger before 😃🤌👌 Staff noticed that we weren't locals so we had a little chat with one of the staff lady which was from Ukraine :) Ciao! Vivi a lungo!

28/06/2024: Italian food restaurant in Siena. The place is nice, with good music and the waiter is very friendly, he tried a lot to understand us. We ordered salad, two pasta dishes, tiramisu and coffee. The salad was good, the pasta with ragout was very delicious, the pasta with pesto was very hard, difficult to eat, although very rich in flavor. I know that in Italy pasta is served al dente, but this one was over the top. The tiramisu was weak, the coffee very good. The waiter treated us to some shots of limoncello and grappa.

02/06/2024: Bar carino e ampio, parcheggio fuori comodo. niente da segnalare ne in positivo ne in negativo. normale bar. abbiamo fatto una piacevole colazione. eravamo di passaggio, se capiterà di ripassare magari ci fermiamo di più.

27/06/2024: Our experience at this restaurant was absolutely wonderful! The food was homemade and extremely tasty. Portions were generous. I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant when visiting Montecatini.

05/06/2024: This restaurant is charming and the food is delicious, all cooked by the mama, who is 89 years old, with her daughter, front of house. We were made to feel welcome and have returned already, with plans to go back again, before the end of our stay. The prices are very reasonable and we would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

11/08/2024: We were there on Wednesday 7 August, beautiful location, quiet in classic Chinese style, professional staff, excellent dishes and good fish, right rice/fish ratio, excellent soups (ramen). The only flaw was that 3 dishes were forgotten. But overall good and the right cost/quality ratio.

14/07/2024: Very nice 👍 Good food. Fair cost If you want steak or think you are Cannavacciuolo obviously it is not for you. But I would say 5 stars, all deserved.

02/06/2024: We hadden hoge verwachtingen, we waren afgegaan op de locatie en foto’s. De bediening was erg aardig en zij kunnen er ook niet veel aan doen dat ik deze niet goede recensie schrijf. Het was erg druk. Het restaurant zat helemaal vol, er was een feest en op het terras stonden ook nog mensen te wachten. We waren met ons vieren. Alle vier een voorgerecht en 1 persoon had een tussengerecht en alle 4 weer een hoofdgerecht. Op het voorgerecht moesten we 75 minuten wachten. En toen viel 1 gerecht tegen. Namelijk carpaccio, deze lag op veel sla en was verkleurd. Het smaakte naar zeep. De asperges waren flink door gekookt, maar de smaak was wel goed. Vrij snel daarna kwam het tussengerecht. Dit moest macaroni zijn met eend. Helaas was de eend er overheen gevlogen en zaten er nog wat botjes in. Het tussengerecht was nog lang niet op toen ook het hoofdgerecht werd geserveerd. Het vlees was goed, we hadden medium-rare en dit was ook zo gebakken. De spinazie was heerlijk, maar de frietjes waren niet goed door gebakken. Een ander hoofdgerecht was absoluut niet lekker. Ten eerste zat er geen zalm in, maar kreeft en de risotto was niet te eten. Te papperig en veel vocht. Al met al gewoon niet goed en dat is erg jammer. Er liep een manager rond, maar wij hadden niet het idee dat zij er voor haar medewerkers was en ook niet voor de klanten. Al met al teleurstellend.

27/07/2024: Vi havde bestilt bord til 22 personer og bad om er menukort som kun stod på italiensk , vi havde tidligere snakket Engelsk med datteren , men da vi ville bestille forskellige forretter samt hoved retter blev hun sur og kunne pludseligt ikke tage engelsk mere . Vi kunne ikke få lov til at bestille fra menukorten , men blev tvunget til at bestille de samme forretter samt hovederetter :( forretten var er pølsebord (tapas) som var ok , men hovederetten var mix grille , med forkullet pølser , spareribs som hvor der ikke var nok til alle og noget kloglegris som kun var knogle , brusk og fedt ( intet kød) da vi klagede over dette på engelsk blev der svaret på italiensk og ifølge dem skulle det være sådan . Men vi forstod ikke hvorfor det blev sat på bordet da det ikke kunne spises . Der er rigtig ærgerligt at hele dette familiefortagende er en flok svindlede og vi har efterfølgende får at vide at andre italiener at de reklamere med at de laver alt selv , men det er løgn da du køber alt pålæg udefra og det ligner til forveksling noget der er købt i det italienske COOP . Vores anbefaling er at holde sig langt væk da man bliver rippet. , vi kom af med 1000 euro og folk blev på ingen måde mætte da maden var ringe . Som sagt er set ærgerligt da gården har en fantastisk beliggenhed og det kunne være så godt hvis det ikke var fordi familien hellere vil snyde og bedrage deres kunder istedet for at give dem en god oplevelse i Toscana :(

21/07/2024: Era una bellissima domenica, spensierata e serena, fino a quando io e la mia famiglia non ci siamo recati al ristorante, pronti ad avere uno dei pranzi peggiori della nostra vita. Eravamo in 7, abbiamo ordinato dei vassoi di cibo da condividere. Tuttavia, le porzioni non rispettavano i criteri richiesti: carne, contorni e primi in quantità scarsa, non c’è attenzione per il cliente, per non parlare del chiasso assordante che riempe la sola… Infine, come ciliegina sulla torta abbiamo avuto il conto, che ammontava ad una cifra eccessiva (per dire poco) e immotivata, data l’assenza di menù nell’agriturismo. Pessima esperienza, non lo consiglierei a nessuno!

24/07/2024: ...non mi sono trovata bene in quanto quello che ho mangiato non è stato di mio gradimento. La nota positiva.. il cameriere credo che si chiami Simone..molto gentile e cordiale con noi.
