31/08/2024: All very good, attentive and kind staff, they made us feel at ease, despite the inexperience of some junior waiters. The amouse bouche of a fifth quarter of fish and the dry aged fish carpaccio were much appreciated. The manager, despite being too bright at times, was kind in finding us a last seat and friendly in his service. Location in the main street softened by many green plants. Bring anti-mosquito lotion (common in Piombino)
27/08/2024: We went last Saturday for lunch. External table. We decided to ask the manager for advice and it was truly a riot of goodness. The skilfully prepared fish we tasted was truly exquisite. I recommend this place when you want to try something special at reasonable prices.

The place is well looked after, the tasting menu is worth trying, the service is attentive and attentive.
Honorable mention for the "three times cod" dish.
27/08/2024: Excellent food and perfect dishes, from starters to desserts. Too bad slow service, 45min for the first courses and unsmiling waiters.

28/10/2024: Too expensive for the quality. It's not what it was anymore! For 2 waters, an appetizer,
we spent 86 euros for a first course and a barbecue. The starter and the first course were good, without shining, the grill was mediocre, puree served cold, tuna stringy. We were disappointed
26/10/2024: È un ristorante dove ci verrei tutti i giorni, si mangia da Dio, pesce freschissimo, buonissimo, servizio eccellente, personale molto gentile, mi piace veramente tanto come posto perché la location è veramente bella, sia il mangiare.

27/10/2024: Simply great! The service was really good, really tried hard, very professional and the dogs were also warmly welcomed with fresh water. The pizza was really big, fresh and super tasty! The best pizza we have eaten in Italy so far. The salad was also really tasty, crunchy and fresh. Prices absolutely fine and reasonable! Thank you!

23/11/2024: Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We were left sitting at the table for far too long, and after an interminable wait, not only did the dishes not arrive, but also the management of the situation was unsatisfactory. It's clear that there was some problem in the kitchen, but no one bothered to inform customers or update on the wait, leaving us completely in the dark.
When we finally asked for explanations, the staff reacted with unprofessional attitudes, even demonstrating a certain resentment and arrogance towards those who, impatiently, decided to leave the restaurant without having been able to eat.
It's a shame, because the environment looked promising, but the lack of transparency and unpleasant attitude completely ruined the experience. A little kindness and availability could have made the difference. I don't think we'll be back, and we could hardly recommend this place to anyone looking for service up to par.
17/11/2024: Pergola's cuisine never disappoints...my palate is always enriched with new emotions, today I ate a first course that left me astounded; the combination of black cabbage, a classic autumnal dish of the Tuscan tradition, with prawn tartare, more typical of the coastal areas. Nonostante il ristorante fosse abbastanza pieno i tempi di attesa con stati brevi ed il personale carinissimo e attento .
I piatti che abbiamo preso tutti ottimi . Ci siamo dimenticati di fotografarli 😊

13/08/2024: Arrivati per cenare alle 2.1.30. Ordiniamo un tagliere di salumi per due, due tagliatelle ai porcini, un fritto misto ed un piatto di verdure grigliate con scamorza. Ci avvisano che per la cucina bisogna attendere minimo 40 minuti. Optiamo per 4 pizze nella speranza di cenare in tempi normali. Aspettiamo ed aspettiamo, passano i 40 minuti e della pizza neanche l’ombra. Intanto due vicini arrivati dopo di noi ordinano due piatti ed una pizza e mangiamo prima di noi. Chiedo lumi alla cameriera e mi risponde che le nostre pizze sono in forno ( siamo già a 50’ di attesa) mentre spiega che i vicini hanno ordinato piatti al barbecue ed è per questo che mangiano prima. Non ho parole, il ristorante sarà pieno al 40% ma lo staff non riesce a gestire la tempistica dei tavoli.
Hanno preferito rinunciare a quanto ordinato e farci prendere 4 pizze. Insomma qui è tutto un kavorone. Mai più
