23/01/2025: My family and I (tourists from the USA) showed up to this restaurant without a reservation in middle of the day when most other restaurants were closed. No tables were immediately available; however, the staff fabricated a new table just so we could eat. The food was amazing. Our waiter was very insightful when it came to the food, telling us it origin, etc. Honestly, this was the best meal of our entire trip (Naples / All of Sicily).

Nunca he escrito una crítica antes, pero la experiencia fue tan buena que he seguido pensando en ellos y me siento obligado a dar las gracias. El servicio era genial - especialmente Massimo - y aunque llegamos muy tarde para el almuerzo, cuando todos los demás se habían ido, sacaron todas las paradas para hacernos bienvenidos. La comida era deliciosa y también el postre, algunos de los cuales (los pasteles) nos regalaron después. Recomiendo encarecidamente una visita, especialmente si viaja por la carretera.

05/01/2025: We went to this pizzeria last night and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. After being seated at 9.30pm, we had to wait a good two hours for the pizzas to arrive. We understand that there can be complicated evenings, but the staff did not provide any explanation for the delay or offer us an apology. When they finally arrived, the pizzas proved unsatisfactory. The dough was extremely dry, to the point that we had difficulty even cutting it with a knife. This made us think that the dough had not risen correctly. The cooking, fortunately, was adequate, but the overall quality left something to be desired. We hope that these problems were an isolated incident, but improving both the management of the service and the preparation of the pizzas would be fundamental.

09/01/2025: This was one of the surprises of our trip through Sicily. The pasta was truly excellent. They also have gluten-free options for those of us whom avoid wheat. The specialty veal, Buca del Lupo is great. the Cozze e Vongole is VERY good.

04/01/2025: Consigliatissimo! La mia famiglia ed io siamo rimasti così soddisfatti che ci siamo ritornati per 2 giorni consecutivi. Locale caldo e accogliente. Il servizio è stato gentile e professionale. Le pappardelle, specialità con i broccoletti, meritano una speciale menzione. Pizza superlativa, leggera gustosa, digeribile, cottura perfetta, sottile senza essere molle e inconsistente. Tornerei volentieri a Piazza Armerina anche solo per andare al Ristorante da Totò.

07/01/2025: Small family-run restaurant in the center of Aidone, we had lunch with an excellent appetizer and the suckling pig that literally melted in your mouth. Very kind and attentive staff, to be recommended for savoring zero km food!

06/01/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, we were visiting Piazza Armerina, on the advice of friends we arrived in Aidone for lunch, the recommended restaurant was sold out so we looked for something else. A very pleasant surprise, we ate Sicilian specialties, all very good at a more than honest price, small but cute place, we will definitely be back.

29/01/2025: Locale trovato per caso di passaggio!!! Si mangia benissimo, personale accogliente, ambiente caloroso, pietanze top! Risotto salsiccia, zafferano e scamorza da provare assolutamente!!! super consigliato!!!!

26/12/2024: Piccola osteria di questo bellissimo paese. Appena arrivi dall'estero non è niente di che ma appena entri il mondo cambia. Piccola accogliente e familiare.. com'è familiare il personale che ti mette a tuo agio. Cibo ottimo ben cucinato e presentato. Insomma un bellissimo pranzo di Natale!!!

22/10/2024: We went because the reviews were quite good. The food is OK, but nothing more than basic home cooking. We paid €10 for vegetables and we got a plate of watery and overcooked cavalo nero. Unless you are too tired to walk further into town I would skip this restaurant

28/09/2024: Best restaurant in the area with a great welcome, don't hesitate to take a detour before visiting the Roman villa which is 4 km away. Good and inexpensive, everything is homemade 🤗

13/10/2024: Everything about this small terrace restaurant is fantastic! It is located in the old town, the table service is fantastic being provided by the owner her self ( very polite and professional and also very friendly and chatty) but the food is hard to describe how delicious it is! The sea food pasta and the carbonara pasta is just perfect! The grilled pork and salciccia perfectly cooked! I don't wanna start with the caponata! Fresh veggies freshly cooked! Mumm is the best chef in town! It's a family business! And they do it well!
