05/01/2025: Holy moly! One of the most memorable restaurants I've been to! At first it looked like it was closed from the outside, but the friendly owner stood outside & invited us in. The staircase is designed like a little museum. The restaurant itself is just cosy and authentic. We were then showered with an avalanche of delicious, freshly cooked Sardinian dishes. Make sure you don't have lunch before, they really stuff you up. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. My fiancee was pregnant & they were especially considerate in her case. Every time we thought we're done they delivered another course. What a treat! We'll never forget this restaurant and its awesome team.
EDIT: My fiancee was pregnant at that time and they gave us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our son's birth with. Since there is no other way to contact them (no email or anything) I have attached a pic of the prosecco and our baby. Again, thanks so much, highly appreciated!

14/01/2025: Il mio ristorante preferito della zona, ogni volta che andiamo in vacanza a Tortolì è una meta fissa.
Cibo buono, staff gentilissimo, l'unica pecca è che a volte i tempi d'attesa sono molto lunghi, ma solo quando il ristorante è affollatissimo!

13/11/2024: Terrific informal dining with friendly yet unobtrusive service and excellent food. My husband had the Orata alla griglia (Grilled fish €16.50) which he said was his best meal of our holiday. I had not planned to have pizza, but the Romana (€8.50), with its mushrooms, olives, peppers and artichoke hearts (carciofi) was just too tempting and rightly so. I’d recommend also sharing a portion of chips (€5), like we did. Portion sizes were good, but it was nice to have the variety, especially for my husband. He also helped with the pizza.
The tables are oceanfront, and there was a sheltered section which was well lit, which would have been handy because it had rained earlier. Nevertheless, the staff didn’t mind us sitting at a table nearby, where we could see and hear the waves.
08/10/2024: We walked into this place as a group of 14 (late September helps). IT was early, they were able to sit us all at 2 tables.
The pizzas were very good and the service expeditious and friendly, and multi lingual.

Domus De Janas Sul Mare Restaurant

24/09/2024: Wir waren Mittags und Abends hier essen. Immer sehr gute Bedienung, sehr gutes essen - wir haben uns wirklich durch die Speisekarte durchgegessen. Vor allem die sardischen Spezialitäten waren sehr lecker. Zu weit inkl. Hauswein zwischen 30,-- und 45,-- EUR (in Summe!). Vorbestellung dringend geraten. Schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten.
11/09/2024: Just what we were looking for, although we had to book for the following evening. No walk ins.
This is a deceptively large restaurant, seems to go on forever. The service was perfect, friendly and helpful.
We ordered too much, the Primi and Secondi were like two main courses one after the other. Spaghetti vongole and spaghetti with prawns followed by seabass and calamari fritti. Both dishes piled high.
We came out full and very happy. Highly recommended.
