24/10/2025: We spent a total of seven days in Cala Gonone. Five of those days we visited this fantastic restaurant. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. The food is of very high quality, and the service is friendly and welcoming. We felt very welcome and comfortable. The price and quality are absolutely excellent. We will definitely come back here on our next visit to Sardinia.
22/10/2025: Hidden gem, stunning pizzas and plenty of local food options (including locally sourced seafood). Great choice of beers and wine. Fair prices - aligned with the quality of the food and the settings - and friendly staff (starting from Ettore, the owner and continuing with the waiters). Highly recommended.

20/09/2025: A charming place, a little difficult to reach, especially at night as the roads aren't well-lit, but you get used to it. The hotel is well-maintained, in an elevated position that offers sweeping views of the coast and the hinterland. Breakfast features excellent local produce, including gluten-free options. The owner was incredibly kind, waiting for me until 2 a.m. due to a delayed ferry from Olbia. The rooms are clean and spacious. I hope to return; highly recommended for peace and quiet.
10/06/2025: We had lunch here after a visit to the caves. Great service and a good menu, we had grilled calamari and an octopus salad. Took great photos from the restaurant of the view.

02/11/2025: I couldn't find a better pizza in Sardinia. Dongali is a sleepy little village in the Sardinian mountains. After 8 pm, there's absolutely nothing going on. We had to search for a long time and finally found what we were looking for on Wikipizza. It's a simple pizzeria, and many people get takeaway pizzas there. The pizza was very good, as was the house wine.
26/10/2025: So very good, well cooked, lots of choice between flavours and instant delivery, very approved for celiacs and other intolerances such as lactose and the edge and also very good the gluten-free one 😍😍

17/03/2026: Zero respect for guests. You arrive and the place is closed, but it's supposed to be open. Please update opening days and hours!
20/02/2026: Located in a more tourist oriented town, Il Banjo offers good quality and tasty food in a very nice ambience. Not the most exquisite dining, but for the price range and circumstances very good.
There is a great view of the sea from the terrace area and the staff are friendly and helpful.

24/10/2025: Excellent and attentive service without being intrusive! Multilingual and very friendly and patient with questions about the dishes. Very good food, a large selection, including regional dishes.
Beautifully set tables and a delicious red wine.
In summer, a fantastic view from the terrace of Dargali below, both day and night.
We come here regularly and always enjoy eating here. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️
Since we live nearby, we can't rate the hotel, but it's very romantic, and the drive up the mountain is worth it.
12/10/2025: A great place to stay for a hiking holiday, nestled in a virtually untouched landscape with numerous hiking opportunities. Guests feel welcome here, and excellent traditional Sardinian cuisine is served with very attentive service (even with half-board). Creative and healthy packed lunches are prepared for hikes.
We felt very comfortable during our stay and would happily recommend this hotel!

28/09/2025: Super friendly and attentive service. Since we were coming back from a quick shopping trip and spontaneously stopped by this restaurant, we even got a shopping bag.
Delicious pasta with seafood, good house wine with water, and a dessert.

14/11/2025: Our August holiday in Sardinia was truly wonderful! Nicola and Teresa are two warmhearted people: kind, helpful, and always ready to help, with a passion for what they do. The apartments are new, welcoming, and meticulously maintained. The restaurant downstairs is also excellent, especially the pizza, which is truly delicious! Highly recommended!

24/10/2025: Very warm welcome from the hotel staff, comfortable, clean rooms and a generous breakfast. Right by the sea, there's nothing better for a successful stay in Cala Gonone! And as an added bonus, excellent ice cream at the Gelateria ;)
16/09/2025: We only ate at the restaurant. The restaurant was full of people, but they made an effort and got us a table relatively quickly. The food was very tasty, except for the dessert, which was quite below average compared to the main meal and appetizer. At the end they served us a free digestif. The rating for service would probably be higher if the restaurant wasn't really crowded.

23/01/2026: We stayed at this hotel a few years ago, totally forgettable, I see from the reviews that nothing has changed.....to be avoided
10/10/2025: We spent four days at the hotel in October. The location was unbeatable in Cala Gonone, right on the seafront. The spacious room had a jacuzzi on the terrace, new amenities, and sea views from the bed, allowing us to watch the sunrise. The breakfast was varied and high-quality. The staff was wonderful, making you feel at home. We will definitely return!

08/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo locale in cui eravamo già stati qualche giorno prima per insalata, prosciutto e melone e coppe di gelato. Abbiamo scelto un piatto di polpo con patate, tenero e saporito, e 3 pizze, verdure, tonno e napoletana, fragranti e ben farcite, col bordo alto ma per nulla gommoso e che si mangiava volentieri. Per accompagnare acque e birre e per terminare gelato frutti di bosco e limone per i più golosi, conto onesto, personale giovane e attento, lo consiglio!!
26/05/2025: No recomiendo este restaurante. Pedí un filete allí, que no era comestible. La camarera, a quien le informé sobre esto, dijo: "Lo siento" y trajo una factura alta. No recomiendo este lugar!

23/11/2024: Il menù propone svariati piatti tipici del territorio e della tradizione, alcuni decisamente gustosi e da non perdere (antipasti e primo), altri invece da rivedere: arrosto d’agnello poco tenero e succulento, porcetto con cotenna tutt’altro che croccante e dorata. Personale cortese e disponibile.
12/11/2024: nulla da discutere sulla qualità, ma dire che si fa il maialetto e dartene 3 E DICO 3!!!! pezzetti di numero piccoli di cui uno tutto osso anche no dai… stessa cosa per la pecora… dovrebbe essere una cena e in realtà sono tutti PICCOLI..!!! assaggi… il prezzo è un po meno da assaggi….😅 giro di pasta quasi decente.. giardiniera di qualità molto scadente.. mirto da dimenticare… quest anno vi è andata bene solo perche c era molto turismo.. da non tornarci sicuro.. e ripeto lo dico da sardo che conosce.. e nn da “turista “…
