23/09/2025: This place is truly special! We've eaten there several times and tried a variety of dishes. Everything tastes simply fantastic – we couldn't stop raving about it! You eat while listening to relaxed jazz music, and the hostess, Melina, dances cheerfully between the tables, humming along to the music. The portions are generous and the prices are more than fair! We paid just over €60 for an appetizer, two main courses, half a liter of wine, a large bottle of water, and dessert! Melina and her husband, Tommaso, are also very kind people and gave us one of the most wonderful encounters of our vacation. Melina speaks excellent English, so even people who don't speak Italian can get along well here. The trattoria is incredibly sweet and lovingly decorated: there are only five tables on the terrace, so you feel comfortable and at home (not an overcrowded tourist spot!). 02/01/2026: I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful evening at dinner here and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism with which the staff handled my reservation, from the call to the dinner itself. My girlfriend and I were looked after by knowledgeable and competent staff, able to suggest various food and wine pairings (very successful) and, excellent vegetarian alternatives for my girlfriend. Highly recommended!

25/02/2026: Spectacular beach, quite crowded, but that's good for a normal August.

28/01/2026: This natural beach is beautifully surrounded by untouched scenery. The road leading there is quite rough — you have to drive about three kilometers on unpaved roads. Once you arrive at the parking area, the fee is €12 for half a day. Well… it is what it is. The white sand is very fine, and there are no sunbeds at all. You simply choose your own spot, lay down your towel, and enjoy this stunning place in a very natural way. The water is crystal clear, and since we visited at the end of September, it wasn’t crowded at all. There is a small bar and restaurant nearby where we were able to get some drinks and light snacks. All in all, we spent a truly wonderful afternoon there — peaceful, authentic, and unforgettable.

20/01/2026: After visiting Rustico twice, a year apart, we've always found the same courtesy, quality, and deliciousness. Excellent, I recommend it as a must-visit when in Nuoro.

24/10/2025: We spent a total of seven days in Cala Gonone. Five of those days we visited this fantastic restaurant. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. The food is of very high quality, and the service is friendly and welcoming. We felt very welcome and comfortable. The price and quality are absolutely excellent. We will definitely come back here on our next visit to Sardinia.

22/10/2025: Hidden gem, stunning pizzas and plenty of local food options (including locally sourced seafood). Great choice of beers and wine. Fair prices - aligned with the quality of the food and the settings - and friendly staff (starting from Ettore, the owner and continuing with the waiters). Highly recommended.

20/09/2025: A charming place, a little difficult to reach, especially at night as the roads aren't well-lit, but you get used to it. The hotel is well-maintained, in an elevated position that offers sweeping views of the coast and the hinterland. Breakfast features excellent local produce, including gluten-free options. The owner was incredibly kind, waiting for me until 2 a.m. due to a delayed ferry from Olbia. The rooms are clean and spacious. I hope to return; highly recommended for peace and quiet.

10/06/2025: We had lunch here after a visit to the caves. Great service and a good menu, we had grilled calamari and an octopus salad. Took great photos from the restaurant of the view.

02/11/2025: I couldn't find a better pizza in Sardinia. Dongali is a sleepy little village in the Sardinian mountains. After 8 pm, there's absolutely nothing going on. We had to search for a long time and finally found what we were looking for on Wikipizza. It's a simple pizzeria, and many people get takeaway pizzas there. The pizza was very good, as was the house wine.

26/10/2025: So very good, well cooked, lots of choice between flavours and instant delivery, very approved for celiacs and other intolerances such as lactose and the edge and also very good the gluten-free one 😍😍

28/10/2025: Didn´t use the rooms, only went there to eat. Very good food, the linguine di gragnano was amazing and full of taste. It was so good I was a little emotional, although the wine might have helped with that 😅 We went there twice and both times the pasta was al dente. If my review was helpful, please hit the like button 😊👍

20/10/2025: We followed the recommendations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food was served in a dog bowl. I had the suckling pig, which had more fat than anything else and was reheated, meaning it wasn't freshly prepared! My partner's fish platter wasn't great either. There are plenty of other places where the food is amazing. This was actually the worst thing we ate on the island in 7 days, and it cost €97.00. The price/performance ratio is absolutely unjustified! Unfortunately, we won't be back!

19/10/2025: Welcoming, lively, modern place, with excellent staff, especially Mario's daughter, who is very cheerful and attentive to detail. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful restaurant, our first time there, and it certainly won't be our last. I highly recommend it ☺️

06/11/2025: After 2 weeks in italy i have finally found a restaurant worth visiting. Its not anything crazy (i have actually eaten multiple times better pizza in my own country than in Italy/Sardinia, which is completely ridiculous), but given local / Sardinian standards this is first time in here where i actually... did not feel scammed or i DID NOT feel like complete waste of money for something ridiculously easy and simple to make (like ordinary 15 EUR for carbonara/pizza - seriously?). Food - decent (sorry i cant say it was great, i would rate it 7/10 but with that competition around you dont deserve to get anything below 5 stars) - hard to find something at that level in entire Sardinia. Plain, simple, decent. Nothing crazy, but good and you can enjoy it. decor - simple, but with class. i like it. view from restaurant - okay (its nice, but nothing crazy). yet, literally 10 sec of walk and you can see beach/sea. staff - first restaurant in Italy where i felt people actually care about me, do not ignore me (cause you get your coperto anyway?) and thats the reason why i actually decided to give you opinion on google. Friendly, helpful, funny folks without scamming you on the bill (1st restaurant after 2 weeks where all the bills before had multiple errors, somehow always on my disadvantage... so read your bills people...) Side note: white house wine is one of the best ones that i have ever had to go so well with sea food. Local, phenomenal gem - good choice. Well done for the team, please keep it up and hopefully I will see you again one day.

24/10/2025: Excellent and attentive service without being intrusive! Multilingual and very friendly and patient with questions about the dishes. Very good food, a large selection, including regional dishes. Beautifully set tables and a delicious red wine. In summer, a fantastic view from the terrace of Dargali below, both day and night. We come here regularly and always enjoy eating here. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Since we live nearby, we can't rate the hotel, but it's very romantic, and the drive up the mountain is worth it.

12/10/2025: A great place to stay for a hiking holiday, nestled in a virtually untouched landscape with numerous hiking opportunities. Guests feel welcome here, and excellent traditional Sardinian cuisine is served with very attentive service (even with half-board). Creative and healthy packed lunches are prepared for hikes. We felt very comfortable during our stay and would happily recommend this hotel!

27/12/2025: Visited yesterday with friends. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, good service, and very good food. Excellent cured meats, cheeses, and veal. Highly recommended.
