20/08/2026: During our tour of Molise, we stayed a couple of nights and tried the restaurant... the dinner rating is definitely 5/5 for the attention to ingredients and pairings, the skill and creativity of the chef, who never disappoints and fully deserves the Michelin recognition. The rooms, however, don't seem to be up to par due to the sparse and unergonomic furnishings: even given the building's architectural constraints, more could be done, starting with the beds, which are truly uncomfortable. The management also suffers from the same limitations... they seem restrained, polite, but uncommunicative.
15/08/2026: A delightful journey through textures, flavors, and pairings, the Chef's passion for cooking and his desire to reinterpret a region where cuisine is a tradition are evident in every dish. An absolute must-try experience.

09/07/2026: A spectacular experience worth repeating. Everything was excellent, and the manager was attentive in explaining the dishes and sharing anecdotes about Molise cuisine.
22/05/2026: Food was absolutely amazing. By far the best experience we have had. It is not just a meal but as other have said it is a true experience. We will be coming back for sure.

The people are fantastic, friendly without being intrusive.
The food is EXCELLENT.

19/08/2026: After two years we return to Riccio and it always gets better, from the typical Molise appetizer, sublime cured meats, star timbale and superior cavatelli, to finish with an excellent "grandma's" tiramisu.

02/05/2026: We had dinner there. The atmosphere was lovely, welcoming, and quiet. The menu was varied and the ingredients were high-quality. The homemade bread was superb. Some dishes were traditional. Excellent value for money.

19/07/2025: A spasso per il Molise, siamo arrivati ad Isernia. Il ristorante ci ha subito colpiti per la struttura in pietra ed un grande e ben curato giardino.Dopo una prima cena che ci ha completamente soddisfatti, siamo tornati di nuovo: cibo ottimo, servizio celere ed impeccabile, personale gentile e cordiale.Di sicuro, se dovessimo capitare in zona,sapremmo dove cenare.Bravi!

Provate i piatti speciali sono ottimi.
La padrona di casa gira e lavora come una trattola tra i tavoli senza far sentire nessuno abbandonato.
Cortesia e rapidità
La pizza sembrava buonissima la proverò la prossima volta.
Abbiamo cenato con i nostri 3 figli e siamo stati benissimo.
Torneremo.
30/06/2025: We dachten hier lekker een hapje te gaan eten. Maar stoelen op de tafel en gesloten. Voor niks omgereden. Dus niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Voor hun lekker een ander restaurant. 😝

06/06/2025: bel posto per mangiare all'aperto, con carrellata di antipasti senza fine, primi e secondi da provare. Buono e cordiale anche il servizio .
Prezzi ragionevoli calcolando che dopo l'antipasto, si opta per un primo o un secondo spendendo 25/ 30 euro compreso vino acqua e caffè. Da ritornare
31/05/2025: Este restaurante es el mejor para la semana que estamos en Italia: Roma, Piscara, Termoli y ahora aquí, Santa María del Molise. La comida era muy fresca, deliciosa, muchas opciones de antipasto, varias opciones para el plato principal, fabulosa polenta con salchichas caseras y salsa de tomate; 6 varios postres. Pedimos tiramisú limone - fresco y delicioso.

19/08/2024: Abbiamo preso l antipasto di verdure al prezzo di 10€, il piatto consisteva in semplici verdure grigliate e un po’ di scarola ripassata, sempre al prezzo di 10€ ci hanno portato due pezzettini di scamorza arrostita! Prezzi davvero alti per le porzioni servite. I secondi discreti ma prezzi davvero alti in rapporto alla qualità/prezzo! In Molise abbiamo mangiato molto meglio a prezzi decisamente inferiori!
13/08/2024: Eccellente cibo ad un prezzo onesto.proprietari e personale cortesissimi.tutto genuino e di qualità davvero una perla rara un ristorante così . antipasto Mulino ricco e gustoso.
Tagliatelle ai porcini perfetto il sugo e la cottura,bieta ripassata,misto brace e scamorza alla brace, sorbetto al limone,pane casareccio squisito.bravi continuate così.

Cucina semplice e buona, piatti della tradizione molisana. Noi avevamo prenotato qualche giorno prima e concordata il menù.
Ottimo il servizio, il cameriere ha prontamente risolto un piccolo inconveniente causato da noi ( avevamo rotto in maniera accidentale un bicchiere pieno di vino rosso).
Consigliato.
