02/08/2026: A lovely restaurant near the historic center of Ascoli Piceno. We ordered two steaks and the Ascoli olives. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced, with fast service and friendly staff. Definitely worth a try.

16/08/2026: Disappointing, it seems like a tourist trap. Digital menu with QR code is convenient, but doesn't feel authentic. The food was downright bad. The cold antipasti were not fresh and looked like those from a supermarket. Most of the pasta was not tasty; Le mezze all’amatriciana was inedible, too salty and with old bacon. The cannelloni all’ascolana was dry and tasteless. The Chittarine al tartuffo fresco was simple but good. The staff is friendly, but that doesn't make up for the disappointment – ​​they don't ask if the food tastes good, so there is no possibility of compensation. In short: not recommended.

16/08/2026: Very good! Traditional dishes and fair prices. We had the Ascoli olives, fried pecorino cheese, and crescia. They also offered us a complimentary amaro.

16/08/2026: We had a fantastic time at this lovely place! We stayed in the glamping tent among the olive trees with a fantastic view! Furthermore, everything has been thought of in terms of necessities for preparing your own meals. We enjoyed the hospitality of Karin and Marijn and we will definitely be back!

06/08/2026: We went there for dinner with friends; there were seven of us. Our expectations were completely different, since we'd been satisfied the last time we went (this winter before Christmas). We sat down and ordered some wine by the glass and a 1-liter carafe of beer. We started with a single course featuring a sampling of six appetizers, all absolutely mediocre. Then we ordered the first courses, all of which were the same. They arrived beautifully plated, with portions of about 100 grams of pasta per person. Next, we ordered three roasts and one lamb, plus four side dishes. Then four desserts, three liqueurs, and four coffees. We asked for the bill, and the guy said, "It would be €48 per person, but €40 is fine." Honestly, considering the quality of the food, the portions, and the service, the price was outrageous. A fair price would have been around €30, given that last time we spent €28. One thing's for sure... we won't set foot in there again.

You're welcomed by Alberto's great, natural and sincere courtesy and kindness, as well as excellent advice about the pizza for my palate... The star pizza... Intense flavors, but not heavy, I dare say it was light and digestible... I'll happily return again and again, for that climax of family and courtesy, increasingly rare these days...
