Excellent table service, with the owner being extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
Traditional Ascoli dishes and a good selection of local wines.
Highly recommended!
10/11/2025: Amatriciana is something perfect. Pasta bolognese ok. The prices of those two dishes and grappa are more than fair. The only downside is the high price of a small portion of mushrooms (not truffles) which for some reason costs as much as a whole meal

06/10/2025: We stayed here for a few nights in the second half of September.
We received a very friendly welcome. The spacious pool with a magnificent view was already quite cold.
We rented bikes and explored the beautiful surroundings.
A wonderful area for sporty cyclists, or those with e-bikes.

28/02/2026: We came to this place, which we didn't know because we're not from the area, and we found ourselves in a medieval fairytale place, where you feel the warmth of home, the very kind and attentive staff and available to our every request, the homemade food is plentiful and above all high-quality local cured meats and homemade bread. I will return and highly recommend everyone to go; you will not leave it every time you return to the wonderful Ascoli Piceno.

11/01/2026: As far as I'm concerned, I think they're putting more tables than they can handle. You can't make people wait an hour and a half for a pizza, which was nothing special: very thin, unlike how they make it in Naples, so with less dough but at the same price. It was unspeakable chaos, you couldn't get through the crowd of people pushing and shoving and the waiters trying to somehow serve customers amidst the chaos... It's fine for a Saturday night, it's a historic place, but I really don't think I'll ever set foot there again.
06/01/2026: Scandalous service, I'm sorry, I ordered a pizza, but it arrived differently from the order, I say, do you want to check? Do you work on the mass? Do you realize that the regular customer is a bad thing, which can be understood three times in a row? Congratulations guys.

Limited seating, no outside seating.
01/11/2025: Simple, yet excellent, fish dishes.
Not the cheapest, but definitely recommended.

19/02/2026: I had dinner here last week, with four adults and two children. I've been to many places in my life, and even abroad, I've never had a meal as bad as this one. We ordered a small platter, perhaps the only redeeming feature, then fettuccine with mushrooms—more mushrooms than fettuccine, full of pepper, inedible for an adult, let alone two children. Then came tagliolini di campofilone with a sauce that wasn't sauce but a pink broth with the tagliolini floating in it, inedible. Not to mention the side dish, a sautéed chicory, which, as soon as I tasted it, turned my stomach. It was full of water and garlic, horrible. Dear chef, vegetables to be sautéed need to be drained of excess water; as they say in Rome, they need to be squeezed dry, then sautéed in oil, garlic, and, for those who like, a pinch of chili pepper. Moral of the story: the kids ate nothing, and the two of us ate chicken breast. I will never recommend it again.
