The owner is attentive and knowledgeable.
The food is very good and traditional.
Dining outside on a quiet street in the city is also nice, making it all the more charming.
I recommend booking.
02/09/2025: The appetizers were excellent, with a platter of cured meats and cheeses; perhaps a little more wouldn't hurt. We then ordered five first courses (two grice, one ravioli, one tagliatella, and one campofilone), each with a bold, authentic flavor and generous portions. Finally, we had two profiteroles and one tiramisu, where you could taste the homemade cream. The prices were fair. I recommend it.

23/08/2025: Every year, when we return from Puglia, we stop in Ascoli Piceno during the first week of July and book dinner at Antico Bonelli. I prefer to call ahead to be sure of a seat, because it's an event we absolutely don't want to miss!
We have a wonderful time. The food is delicious and everything is made strictly with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming, not to mention the kindness and friendliness with which we are served. We highly recommend this place and hope to return many times.

08/09/2025: Nice, welcoming place, full of people, very professional and friendly waiters, and the very kind owner, who runs a place with such an important history. We finally ate real Ascoli olives, and all the first courses and meat were delicious!! It was a pleasant lunch, thank you!
30/08/2025: Dinner for two, varied menu, excellent grilled lamb, delicious Ascoli olives. I recommend zuppa inglese (trifle).

03/07/2025: You can stay here with a tent, caravan or camper. There are also 2 apartments available. Very nice location, you look out over the vineyard. They make their own wine that you can taste on site. Highly recommended, delicious wine.
22/06/2025: We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful campsite. Karin and Marin are incredibly hospitable and warm. Upon arrival it turned out that a dinner had been organised that same evening, we could immediately join in and had a wonderful evening in good company. The next day there was a wine tasting with wines from our own soil. Delicious wines and tasty snacks also made this afternoon/evening special. The campsite is located near a beautiful village with an excellent restaurant. If you are looking for peace and quiet, love good food and good wine and all that in a relaxed atmosphere, then Villa Vicini is highly recommended. We enjoyed it!!!

06/09/2025: We're here for our second time and we're coming from Campofilone. The owner and staff are truly professional and friendly. Excellent pizzas and excellent Ascoli olives! The location is welcoming with a large and pleasant outdoor space.
Highly recommended!!

The appetizers, pasta, and desserts were excellent.

28/09/2025: Restaurant recommended by friends. Being a Sunday, the service was good but chaotic. The appetizers, meat, and dessert were really good, but it's a shame the first courses were truly awful. A very dry gricia and an amatriciana that tasted like plain pasta with tomato sauce.

09/09/2025: I've been frequenting this pizzeria for 20 years, maybe more, and their pizza has never disappointed me. Neapolitans might turn up their noses at it (thin and crustless), but the quality of the ingredients, the perfect cooking, and, why not, even the pre-slicing into eight slices, make it an excellent product that also wins on the budget, with an exceptional price/quality ratio! But... there's a but: market logic (very respectable) has led managers to excessively increase the number of tables and the number of customers they can accommodate, often forcing customers to get up to let other customers or the waiters pass. Not to mention the audio confusion that has now reached the limits of tolerability, again due to the excessive number of customers.
It's a shame, I would have happily given it 5 stars, but I hope to be able to award them in the future, a future with a little less chaos than it was until a few years ago.

25/06/2025: We discovered this seafood restaurant thanks to the Michelin Guide Tuscany, Umbria, and Marche. The welcome and service were particularly charming, provided by a young woman whose mother works in the kitchen... and what a meal!
We began dinner with an assortment of fish starters, both delicious and generous. We enjoyed succulent grilled fish, before concluding with an absolutely exquisite lemon sorbet—a dessert not to be missed!
Since the dinner was so enjoyable, we asked if it would be possible to return the next day to enjoy spaghetti with clams. We were delighted: perfectly cooked pasta, accompanied by a generous and delicious quantity of clams.
A truly gourmet experience not to be missed!
