13/07/2024: A real gem of a restaurant that seems like a secret find. I had eaten here in 2007 and remembered having an amazing meal. Returning to Ascoli Piceno at the end of June, I was determined to revisit Del Corso and was not disappointed. The restaurant is located in an untouristed part of Ascoli, which gives it part of its special feel. After so many meals of meat, it was a pleasure to be in a restaurant specializing in fish. We enjoyed a delicious pasta with fish followed by an expertly prepared fritti misti and then fish fillets done in a perfectly favored lemon sauce which we soaked up every bit with lots of bread (and accompanied by a perfectly dressed simple salad as well). Lemon sorbet made for a perfect ending, especially given the heat and humidity. We were thoroughly charmed by the owner/chef, Piera, and her daughter, who served us quietly and professionally with the right amount of humor since our Italian is so bad. With our broken Italian, we had quite the conversation after the restaurant closed. We only wish we would have the opportunity to visit this jewel more often than once every decade or so. Bravo!

22/05/2024: We were there yesterday for lunch. Excellent restaurant in the center of Ascoli but off the tourist routes. Fresh and well cooked fish, the mixed fry is unmissable. Impeccable service.

28/08/2024: Ottima location sul mare, perfetta per una cena con qualcosa in più rispetto ai soliti ristoranti che si trovano in zona. Menù ricercato, ma anche proposte di pesce classiche, pinsa e deliziosi dessert. Servizio ottimo. A mio avviso in un locale del genere eviterei però la musica dal vivo che è iniziata a metà serata, sarebbe già perfetto il sottofondo di musica lounge.

04/08/2024: Discovered a paradise. A nice couple who do everything they can to make the camper happy. A nice swimming pool, a great view and delicious wine. Occasionally eat together with the camping guests. In short, a place to completely relax in beautiful surroundings!

02/08/2024: A very nice small-scale campsite in a prime location in Le Marche from Dutch owners. View of the rolling hills surrounded by our own grape vines! Nadia's dinner is whatever you want; long table with delicious food under the Italian sun! The wine tasting was also great! The swimming pool is really beautiful! There is not shade everywhere, but you can use the terrace at the villa. Marin and Karin's daughters quickly make a friend! In short, highly recommended!

18/08/2024: I went on a SATURDAY evening with my friends (there were about 25 of us) to have a drink. We arrived around 00:30 and the waiter was a bit insistent, constantly asking us what we wanted to order because after a short while they wanted to close the place. Even though we hadn't all arrived, he wanted to take the order immediately, I think to speed up everything. We didn't have the chance to wait for the other people due to the rush they imposed on us. He told us over and over that we had until 1:30 to consume our drinks (I'll start by saying that we were waiting for other people, it would only be money for them). I don't know if the owner was present but I highly doubt it given their pressing behavior to send us away as soon as possible. It's not the first time I've come to this place and this has often happened. I don't recommend it if you want to sit and have a drink in peace, because even if you go at 11pm they'll already start chasing you away. I won't be returning.

18/08/2024: The environment COULD be very functional and here is my ONLY positive note. Let me start by saying that I don't usually write negative reviews. If I'm not satisfied with a place and/or a service, I prefer not to return again and avoid controversy. Except in this case, I came with a few friends after dinner for a drink. More than the drink (made not well at all and left completely full by me) I want to focus on the service. As soon as we arrived we were "welcomed" with an annoyed look, we were seated and we were warned several times that they would close shortly thereafter. After several annoyed looks and after several invitations to look at the clock (1:00 on a Saturday evening in the middle of August) we got up. Shortly after leaving the place we saw that there were 2 girls at the counter, was it closing time or was it time to remove the disturbance? I don't recommend it for an after dinner drink, I won't be back. I'm sorry but education makes the difference.

03/08/2024: Quick lunch, good fresh tuna calamarata, spaghetti with clams, once excellent, currently almost sufficient, worth seeing again.

24/07/2024: Fry 🔝, very nice, simple environment, directly on the beach. Courteous and attentive staff. Very tasty food, I also tasted the spaghetti with seafood, a little fish and also cherry tomatoes, but the seafood flavor was really intense.

20/07/2024: Service was not good, reaction on not eating pasta was rude. Took very long. Dishes were served to wrong table/person. And the food was at the end just ok, the last dish was not eatable :(

17/07/2024: It is a very nice restaurant, tastefully decorated. Upon entering, I found a poem by Alda Merini and, as a poet, it made me feel at home. The food is good, I would propose to the excellent chef dishes designed for those who, like me, are vegetarians. Mrs. Claudia is very kind. The place has a nice atmosphere.

02/07/2024: Veramente buono e ben presentato, ciò che viene servito è ben sopra la classica osteria. Bravi. Consigliato il menu degustazione. Prezzi corretti... Pagherei anche qlcs in più.

08/06/2024: Ero andato in questo ristorante per mangiare gli arrosticini ma quando ho visto il menù degustazione, quello che c’era e il prezzo, abbiamo preso questo. Tanti antipasti diversi dai soliti, un primo e un secondo, il bere è escluso. Siccome non si trova un posteggio libero, davanti al ristorante c’è un posteggio sotterraneo molto comodo.
