09/05/2025: A memorable dinner, in a restaurant that knows how to combine tradition and taste with extraordinary simplicity. I Dù de la Contrada is the kind of place where every dish speaks with sincerity and substance. We opened with a poached egg, delicate and creamy, executed with technical precision and served with refined taste. The carrot meatballs with paprika, surprising for their balance and lightness, tell of a vegetable cuisine that doesn't need to shout to be remembered. The absolute protagonist of the evening was the beef in oil with polenta: a Brescia classic performed with skill. The very tender meat, the rich and velvety base, and the just the right rough polenta: a dish that warms, satisfies, conquers. Grand finale with the rose cake and Chantilly cream: soft, fragrant, delicious without excess. A perfect closure. To make everything even more pleasant, impeccable service, with kind, friendly and attentive staff, capable of putting you at ease from the first moment. Full five stars, and all deserved. A real cuisine, a sincere welcome: to be recommended without hesitation.

Prezzi in linea con la qualità del cibo. 23/05/2025: Expectations were definitely too high perhaps! Disappointed by the tuna tartare, buffalo mozzarella cream, cherry tomato reduction, dehydrated Taggiasca olives, capers, green sauce and focaccia crumble: Too much stuff that honestly loses the flavor of the tuna. The trio of tartare is definitely good: tuna that is not convincing here either, while scampi and red shrimp are fresh and really tasty. The first course is good, while the fried food is disappointing and heavy for digestion: rubbery rings inside and dry on the outside. Good tufts of squid, scampi, shrimp and octopus. Dessert that does not disappoint expectations with a stellar wine pairing. The wine list easily deserves 5 stars. Just as they bring home the 5 stars for the service: attentive, fast and full of adequate advice also for the wine list.

07/05/2025: My favorite Indian restaurant in Brescia for two main reasons: incredibly friendly staff and really good food. Last night we started by sharing the Misto Pakora starter, then continuing with a Murg Lawabdar and Panir Masala. All obviously accompanied by typical Indian beer and naan bread (both with butter and garlic). At the end of the evening, given our curiosity at the checkout, we were also offered the Gool Gappa (also better known as Pani Puri). I had no doubts, but we will definitely be back :)

22/03/2025: The best restaurant in Brescia! Everything is delicious: from appetizers to desserts... not to mention the quality of the meat. Excellent value for money, kind and very friendly managers who welcome you with a smile and always make you feel at home... beautiful both inside and out because it is located directly on Piazzale Arnaldo. If I had to recommend a restaurant in Brescia, I would have no doubts! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

26/04/2025: Here is a hidden little treasure from Brescia. No pretentions, just great food, great service and great ambiance for a centuries old neighborhood. I must say that this is not the place to order a slice of pizza and a soda though... your food is exquisitely prepared and served with taste and elegance. The wine list is very good so no excuses not to have a very nice dining experience. If we go back to Brescia again, definitively will return here.

18/04/2025: Very good pizza, very wide variety of both pizzas and types of dough, but also of many other dishes, especially fish; I personally tasted the pizza, the highest Neapolitan-style one, margherita with buffalo mozzarella, and it was very good and with a soft crust, although a little heavy. However, excellent quality ingredients. Friendly staff and very quick service despite being full. Location perhaps a little small in relation to the number of tables, which makes it appear a little crowded and chaotic, but still well looked after. Prices normal. Highly recommended!
