11/02/2025: Ristorante elegante, che frequento da tempo trovandolo in ogni occasione molto accogliente. Sempre curata la mise en place. Menu’ ricco di proposte dall’antipasto al dessert. Ottima cucina, soprattutto tradizionale , sia per le materie prime usate, sia per la presentazione delle portate. Personale gentile molto attento alle esigenze del cliente.

13/02/2025: classica serata tra amici, tavolo di 5 persone , ordiniamo piatti diversi perché nessuno di noi era mai stato in questo ristorante ma tutti incuriositi da vari consigli. Purtroppo la qualità dei prodotti non rispecchia quanto ci avevano raccontato , Antipasti della casa con affettati e giardiniera, beh nei salumi era veramente buono solo il prosciutto crudo e la coppa era a dir poco dura. Primi , risotto scotto e scialbo , gnocchetti al bagoss che il bagoss non si vede manco con il binocolo ma solo un mare di burro. Secondo guandetta di maialino tanto decantata dalla cameriera che in realtà si è rivelata senza infamia e senza Lode. Dolci tortino di cioccolato normale come in 3000 altri posti. Conto abbastanza salato per la qualità proposta. Location sembra di stare a Gardaland non in una trattoria. Se volete mangiare tipico bresciano non è questo il posto ma in generale se volete mangiare bene e spendere il giusto ci sono molti altri posti in città .

Sin dal nostro arrivo, siamo stati accolti con estrema gentilezza da uno staff professionale, cordiale e attento, pronto a rendere ogni momento speciale. L’ambiente, arredato con gusto e ispirato alla tradizione, crea un’atmosfera intima e familiare, perfetta per un’esperienza gastronomica autentica. Abbiamo iniziato il nostro viaggio culinario con il petto d’oca affumicato, un antipasto dal sapore intenso ed equilibrato, con una texture perfetta. Come primo, il risotto al radicchio rosso, gorgonzola e pesto di noci ci ha conquistati con la sua cremosità avvolgente e il contrasto armonioso tra la dolcezza del radicchio, la sapidità del gorgonzola e la nota croccante delle noci. Per i secondi, abbiamo scelto due piatti iconici della tradizione bresciana: il manzo all’olio, tenerissimo e saporito, preparato con maestria secondo la ricetta tipica, e la quaglia disossata ripiena alla bresciana, un vero capolavoro di equilibrio e gusto, con una cottura perfetta che esaltava ogni ingrediente. Ogni piatto è stato un’esplosione di sapori autentici, eseguiti con tecnica e passione, dimostrando perché G.A. Porteri ha meritato il riconoscimento Michelin dal 2017 al 2020. Un ristorante che celebra la cucina bresciana con eleganza e rispetto per la tradizione. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un’esperienza gastronomica autentica e di altissimo livello. Torneremo sicuramente!

26/01/2025: We ate at the restaurant on Sunday for lunch (reservations recommended). The place is welcoming and rather quiet. Appetizer with abundant and very varied cheese platter. The Mostasù pappardelle are also excellent: al dente and very tasty. As a second course we particularly liked the Ox Guanzino stewed in Nebbiolo. The off-menu stuffed capon is also good (really excellent accompanying potatoes). Advised!

04/01/2025: We went to visit the center of Brescia and after parking we turned to Google to search for a restaurant and went to Mangiafuco. Well kept room. Food with satisfying portions. It's a shame that among the many choices on the menu, apart from the cured meat starters, they were all lactose-based. Of which one diner was allergic. So when we exposed the problem to the owner we didn't get any attention from her and for one person she was forced to eat the only second course present without lactose. It's a shame that after 50 minutes of waiting and a reminder, they justified that they had a problem in the kitchen but the regulars who arrived after us left before our dishes arrived with lunch done, they finally served us. Ps.bathroom with reduced access no disabled and while I was paying the owner informed her assistant of a complaint from another customer that I would have preferred not to know anything about. Mon price below 45,00 euros each

28/12/2024: Location elegante ed intima. Ovviamente si viene per il pesce, freschissimo pesce. Tanta freschezza nelle Linguine con Ricci di Mare ( € 27,00 ) , in porzione non generosa. Tanto gusto nello Spaghettone Nero Baccalà Pecorino e Friggitelli ( € 22,00 ). Tanta eccellenza nella Ricciola di fondale con Carciofi. Si può bere bene, anche Champagne, con prezzi senza eccessi, ma meglio chiedere bicchieri adatti. Servizio bastante.

05/01/2025: Fin dal pane si sa il posto sarà o meno indimenticabile e questo locale, disposto in modo bizzarro in un bel palazzo antico, sarà difficile da scordare. Dicevo fin dal pane - di due tipi, poi una specie di grissino piatto e strisce di pane abbrustolito con olio e aromi - il pranzo è iniziato molto bene e proseguito con ottimi antipasti e notevoli casoncelli fatti in casa, alla zucca e alla carne. Buonissimi i dolci, il mio una cheesecake ai marroni senza glutine nè lattosio. Fenomenale. Personale squisito.

14/12/2024: Sono stato più volte in questo ristorante ed è sempre un piacere tornarci. Locale molto bello e accogliente. Personale molto gentile. Cibo tradizionale eccezionale! Abbiamo preso i casoncelli sia di carne sia tradizionali, buonissimi! Ma è con il roast beef che si raggiunge l'apice, talmente tenero che masticare non era nemmeno necessario, semplicemente squisito! Molto buono anche il tiramisù. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Se siete a Brescia dovete assolutamente provarlo! PS: consiglio di provare assolutamente anche il coniglio ripieno, che avevo già assaggiato in precedenti visite.

08/01/2025: La location merita, la cena meno. La pizza vuole sembrare gourmet ma l'impasto è di pessima qualità (sembra finto e dolce come quelli surgelati). Solo filetto di carne davvero buono il resto dei piatti davvero molto ordinari ad un prezzo eccessivo. Grandissimo potenziale ma, per me, deludente. Non ci tornerò, mi dispiace.

22/12/2024: We had dinner a few days ago in this historic restaurant in Brescia. The restaurant is located in the heart of Brescia, a few steps from the Roman forum and other characteristic streets of the centre. Small but well-kept and warm room with a beautiful ancient ceiling, original stone vaults and a huge mirror that gives a unique perspective and depth to the room. The dishes are well prepared, tasty at the right point and very abundant. Young friendly and smiling service. A place with few frills and a lot of substance that is definitely worth a visit.

11/12/2024: Despite the place being very full, the service was quick and attentive as well as really friendly. Well-made dishes and a menu that offers typical dishes but also excellent alternatives. Very welcoming environment, with attention to detail, located right next to the Capitolium. Highly recommended!!!

Personally, I don't like where they have a double shift at the tables, where you have to dine with the clock in your hand, but I understand that a place in the center needs this type of work. The room below must be requested when booking. I will definitely be back 👌

02/02/2025: For lovers of the old style like me it is a great place, warm and quiet, the food is a real revelation, excellent dishes made perfectly, the homemade pasta excellently prepared, the first-rate meat excellently prepared, great work by part of the cuisine, abundant and delicious dishes, the impeccable, kind and prepared service, the price is considered adequate both for the quality of the products and the service. 16/02/2025: La location è certamente modesta, il servizio è la cosa migliore: simpatia, cortesia e professionalità. Il cibo è discreto, ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo è decisamente sfavorevole perché né ciò che esce dalla cucina, né tantomeno l'ambiente giustificano i prezzi richiesti. Però il nome è azzeccato perché si vede che sono proprio bravi ragazzi!

02/02/2025: Siamo andati a Brescia per vedere la mostra sulla Belle Epoque a Palazzo Martinengo. Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante dal menu e abbiamo fatto bene. Ottima mano in cucina, cortesia al tavolo. Da provare per poi tornarci
