02/05/2026: The dish was very good quality-wise, but I'm giving it two stars because you can't charge €20 for a small dish.
On the way back to the car, I settled for various appetizers.
Customers look at the quality (very good, I repeat) but also the quantity!!!

18/06/2026: It was a wonderful experience thanks to Fabio and the chef! The homemade pesto pasta and the clam pasta were magnificent. The tiramisu and the wine were also excellent, but above all, the service and the location made for a fantastic time away from the tourist crowds! Thank you for everything, we'll be back!

Romina and her entire staff were truly delightful: super friendly, welcoming, and kind, they made us feel at ease right away.

It's indescribable. I stayed in one of the most beautiful places in Italy.
13/04/2026: The hotel is located at the end of the alley, in a very quiet location on the street parallel to the seafront. Excellent restaurants are nearby, just steps away, for dinner. A stroll down the street takes you to the town center, full of top-notch shops and culinary specialties.
Modern superior room with a large balcony, a very comfortable bed, a bathroom with a large shower, and a beautiful marble wall for storing toiletries.
Breakfast features excellent bread and croissants, fruit is available, and eggs and bacon are available upon request. They have a breakfast bar, and you can ask at reception if you need anything in the evening.
Friendly and helpful staff. The building is not new, but it's comfortable.

16/05/2026: Be Careful!! Watch out when paying. Ask for the receipt and triple check it. They tried to steal 170€ added on top of what we have ordered.
15/05/2026: We can't comment on the food since we didn't get a chance to try it. We were a few minutes late and our table had been reassigned. Okay, that's understandable, but a good restaurant owner wouldn't have made us wait for the next table in the rain… It's a shame, we're locals for four months of the year and won't be for many years to come… We're not sure we'll book again.

02/06/2026: We had dinner on Sunday evening and had a great time. Compliments for the grilled fish, everything was cooked to perfection.
18/04/2026: The scallops were a bit saltier, the spaghetti with clams were good with average portions, and the tiramisu was a bit too revisited. They had ordered two glasses of wine instead of one. The restaurant was average.

We ordered pizzas and meat dishes: nothing special, so it's difficult to give it more than 3 stars.
It's just another restaurant among many others on the Alassio seafront.

04/05/2026: We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Gabbiano. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and inviting, making it easy to unwind.
Breakfast was fresh and varied, with quality ingredients and plenty of choice to start the day right. The location was also ideal—convenient yet peaceful, perfect for both exploring and relaxing.
Overall, Hotel Gabbiano delivered a truly memorable experience with excellent service and comfort throughout. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again.

20/03/2025: Dopo varie e positive esperienze nel recente passato, sono incappato in una giornata negativa. A parte la sgradevole compagnia di un tavolo attiguo causa vociare insopportabile dei commensali rimango deluso dai piati ordinati. Polpo alla ligure asciutto ed insipido. Polpo grigliato secco, pure lui insipido. Per nn parlare delle verdure abbinate al piatto. Pomodori inguardabili, patate anonime, broccoli crudi e mancanza della crema di ceci, riportata nel menù. Peccato davvero.

07/07/2025: Abbiamo preso un antipasto, un primo, un secondo ed piatto per il bambino. Tutto buono, prezzo medio alto ma in linea con il posto e la città di mare…

Chiariamo anziché fusilli alle vongole di avere gli spaghetti. Rispondono di no. Pazienza.
Cozze al guazzetto. Quasi tutte col “baffo”. Quindi non adeguatamente pulite.
Chiediamo acciughe fritte specificando che vogliamo assieme una focaccia.
Arrivano le acciughe ma non la focaccia.
Nel frattempo servono pizze e focacce da asporto, che passano davanti alle ordinazioni dei tavoli.
Se non fosse in passeggiata ad Alassio, a mio avviso sarebbe sempre vuoto.

Locanda della Torre Antica

09/04/2025: Sono stata a cena una sera di agosto e per il cenone di San Silvestro, piatti eccellenti e atmosfera molto suggestiva. I ravioli sono il cavallo di battaglia del locale, sono fatti a mano come una volta, in vari modi in base al periodo dell’anno. Per il cenone 2024 erano alle erbette e astice; una squisitezza unica!!
Abbiamo già prenotato per il pranzo di Pasqua dove ci saranno quelli di agnello.
Consigliatissimo anche in serate infrasettimanali, si respira un aria di pace e tranquillità godendo anche delle vista mozzafiato, in estate si cena in giardino.
Prezzi in linea con la qualità della materia prima, servizio e location.
