12/11/2024: DO NOT USE GIOVANNI SPAGNUOLO FOR A SURVEY!!! Nautilus Marina is a good shipyard. The staff is friendly and helps where possible, everything in previous reviews is correct. Is everything going well, no, mistakes are also made, but that happens everywhere. But when you inform Nautilus Marina about defects after their repair, it remains eerily silent. That is a pity. What this review is particularly about is our experience with the surveyor Givanni Spagnuolo, We bought a sailboat in 2023 through the broker of Nautilus Marina. We asked him if he knows a good surveyor. The answer I got was Giovanni Spagnuolo. Giovanni Spagnuolo is supposed to be an independent surveyor, and who is an expert to the court. Giovanni Spagnuolo tells you everything you want to hear, and he will check everything, what ever you ask him before and during the survey. This is were it ends. He does very little to nothing and also commits falsifications and tells untruths. For example, the report we received just under 3 weeks after the survey showed that all navigation electronics and the heater were in order and OK, while this was not the case. We had to replace all navigation electronics. Giovanni later admitted in a email that he did not checked anything what was discussed!!!. This also applies to the teak deck. The teak deck was 'fair'', as stated in the survey report. In reality, all seams need to be replaced, as determined by the woodworking department of Nautilus Marina. In addition, he did not check many other things at all, such as the 220 volt system, otherwise he would have discovered that the boiler was short-circuiting, the exhaust silencer was leaking CO2 into the boat and cooling water, 3 roof hatches were leaking, water in the bilge under the seat covers, the engine had not had a new oil filter/oil service since 2015, 3 seacocks had been replaced on the advice of a shipyard employee because they were very difficult to operate due to corrosion. etc. etc. etc. In addition, Giovanni Spagnuolo indicated during the consultation after the servey that everything on the boat was fine and in good order and that there was no problem at all, the rudder was in order and the sails were 70% in order when asked, there were no reasons why we should not buy the sailboat. While in reality the aluminum rudder rod showed serious galvanic corrosion and had to be replaced for safety reasons. The sails also have to be replaced because the sails are worn down to the thread. When confronting Giovanni Spagnuolo with this, you will get no or no clear answer. From someone like Giovanni Spagnuolo, who acts as an independent expert and expert in court, you would expect him to do his job professionally and accurately and if he makes a mistake, that he would correct it. The only thing he did after much insistence was, to award a very small compensation, a pittance, for replacing the rudder. Why Giovanni Spagnuolo acted in this way has never become clear. Whether he was good 'friends' with the seller or wanted to continue the sale of the sailboat, we will never know! But despite all this, Giovanni Spanuolo is still active for Nautilus Marina, when we left in April 2024. This review is only to prevent future boat buyers from making the same mistake as we did. Find your own inspector and avoid hiring Giovanni Spagnuolo for an inspection. DON'T DO IT!!!

05/01/2025: Se avete fra i 40 ed i 60 anni la vista del bancone del bar vale da sola una visita. E' una macchina del tempo che vi fa tornare indietro alla vostra infanzia. Il viaggio sensoriale continua, tutto vi fa ripiombiare ai magnifici anni 70, gli infissi in alluminio, i quadri, gli stessi camerieri. Oggi un quarantesimo stile "castello delle cerimonie" ha allietato la giornata con contorno di correnti bambini urlanti, jessiche commosse e kevin che ciccavano per terra a 30 cm dal posacenere. La mia linguina allo scoglio, dopo averla salvata dal rischio affogamento nel sugo, mi ha fornito i carboidrati sufficienti al resto della giornata, tanto basta. Alla richiesta di "un amaro", il cameriere è andato via portando un amaro, senza inutili fronzoli. Tornerò.

24/11/2024: Andata in gruppo numeroso, lì troviamo altri pullman di gitanti saremo stati 200 persone contemporaneamente, menù concordato a prezzo fisso. Non so quanto perché pacchetto onnicomprensivo. Antipasto buonissimo, pasta alle vongole alcune porzioni scotte ed altre al dente. Risotto buono ma scarsissimo. Frittura di paranza fredda, durissima, impossibile staccare la carne dalla spina centrale. Piatto per metà pieno di patate fritte gelate e senza sale. Torta della nonna buona. Caffè e amaro. Vino molto buono. Visto che la qualità è buona, perché servirla in maniera sciatta? Consiglio di prendere meno coperti per curare meglio la cottura e la temperatura dei cibi. Spesso andiamo in gita in pullman turistico, ma siamo stati serviti meglio.

16/05/2024: Abysmal. Don't go there! Tourist trap. Expensive, awful food. You'll also have to beg extra for bread that's supposed to be part of your order.

08/01/2024: I'm good at giving 1 star, because if there was a score of 0 I would give it. Terrible staff Local no comment Absurd prices... 6 or 7 euros for a cup of chocolate (with or without cream), 3 euros for a disastrous coffee, biscuits in a saucer for 8 euros The typical place where they fuck you in the ass. And we were among them... but experience teaches us. And don't let anyone tell me why we are close to Piazza di Spagna or anything else, because we weren't close to anything, it's not like I was looking at Piazza del Popolo out the window. I agree with the other reviews made.

16/01/2025: Il posto non è un granché ma dipende da chi trovi. Se c'è una signora Bionda è estremamente indisposta e invece nel pomeriggio spesso c'è una ragazza straniera educata e gentile. Non sopporto le bustine di zucchero piccole ma questo conta poco. Il cibo e il caffè è nella media. Comunque c'è di meglio...

14/06/2024: posto molto bello, semplice, accogliente e familiare nello stesso tempo: direttamente sul mare, ma riparato da una bella struttura. Si mangia bene, servizio molto gentile.
