11/05/2024: We ate here 10 May..not busy but the waiter acted like it was. It’s a pretty location but that doesn’t mean you should eat here. It was the worst meal we had in our 3 plus weeks of traveling through Spain and now north Italy. I’m not even going to mention the inflated prices because you’re paying for “the view”.
The risotto was flavorless and watery and just a bit shy of crunchy. We ordered one of the pork appetizers and were brought two, thinking they had split it for us. It was tasty but certainly not worth the cost. We spent about 80 euros and left hungry (since the risotto was so poor we didn’t even eat much of it)
Also, after asking for the check it probably took 20 minutes for the waiter to cash us out.
09/05/2024: I'll start with the atmosphere - it's amazing, especially for us landlubbers. Very pleasant service and you can see that they work here with love. When you order the fish, they first let you choose it and prepare it to your liking. Too bad we can't go here more often. In short, a fairy tale and a beautiful experience. I am attaching a few photos to give you an idea.

20/02/2024: Trattoria fantastica!!! La proprietaria ti consiglia i piatti del giorno con spiegazioni semplici!!!! Cozze alla Dalmata…UNICHE!!!!! Alla fine ci ha offerto un liquore che consiglio vivamente “Il Terrano”…. Grazieeee!!!!
21/10/2023: Tutto ottimo. Ambiente accogliente. Gradevole spazio all'aperto. Cucina casalinga di ottima qualità. Buon cibo ben cucinato e curato. Merita una visita da qualunque parte del mondo voi veniate.

04/03/2024: We simply love Paolo, his staff and place and also the region around muggia.
We've been around the world to so many places but at Paolos we found a true jewel.
We felt like home like we belong to this place.
It's one of the most relaxing, warm-hearted, delicious and respectful places ever.
You drink (wine, grappa) and eat (fruits, tomatoes) from Paolos garden. You can have dinner every evening with fresh, delicate seafood and wine as much as you can (around 50€-60€). Included breakfast is continental and coffee is good and you can have it in what time ever during the morning. It's not a hotel, it's home.
The rooms are quiet simple but still very clean with good mattresses and they have AC & heater.
If there's something you need, you don't like or you want, say it and you will get it.
Maybe you have a good life now and staying at Paolos will make your life even better!
Buy the wine and olive oil! High quality, great price.

25/08/2023: Cenato molto bene era tutto ottimo il pesce si sentiva che era fresco ...abbiamo preso 2 antipasti 2 primi 2 mezzi litri di vino bianco sfuso un dolce un caffè 2 grappe , acqua....totale 100 euro ..trovo che sia un po caro , soprattutto il vino sfuso 16 euro un litro ! Cibo ottimo , lo consiglio!
