06/04/2024: Beautiful structure surrounded by greenery, near the walls of Ferrara, 5 minutes walk from the center of Ferrara. Very nice environment, nice comfortable and clean rooms, excellent restaurant and very kind and knowledgeable staff.

02/02/2024: Dinner when Ferrara is at its hottest and you enter a restaurant that is cool, a good start to a dinner. Ate a very good and pleasant dinner. Good ingredients and flavors. The wine was wonderful as was the Amaro. The service was impeccable, the staff unobtrusive but helpful. Will be happy to return. July 2023

24/03/2024: Restaurant located in one of the most beautiful streets of Ferrara, two minutes walk from the walls and twenty minutes from the castle. Very welcoming place with typical Ferrara cuisine. Very friendly staff and available to recommend both dishes and wines. I advise

24/03/2024: Exit Palazzo dei Diamanti....after a visit to the Escher exhibition. You are with eyes full of wonder. You have reconciled the geometries with the heart that knows very little about geometries. Esprit de finesse and esprit de geometrie...they have been reconciled. You are at peace with the universe because you know, you have understood that you have your space and it is necessary. Appetite? How can you not head a few meters away to one of the most fascinating places in the metaphysical city? The restaurant "La provvidenza" awaits you. And don't be scared by the place and the atmosphere. 03/03/2024: Locale piccolino e informale, che offre comunque servizio al tavolo. Personale molto cortese, disponibile anche a "riservare" un posto se si chiama in anticipo, soprattutto per gruppi di 4 persone o più. Servizio molto veloce, ma non per questo ci si sente obbligati a mangiare di fretta o a lasciare immediatamente il tavolo. Feta condita con peperoni e olive saporita, meglio ancora se accompagnata da una delle loro ottime pite. Non male le polpette di ceci, purtroppo servite con patatine abbastanza fredde. Salsa alle melanzane molto simile alla tsatziki. Imperdibile la musaka, tornerei anche solo per quella. Ghemista ben speziata, riso all'interno stracotto. Sapore della baklava strepitoso, anche se me la aspettavo più croccante in superficie. Normale la birra Mythos. Conto finale onesto. Toilette disponibile.

08/12/2023: A really nice restaurant, beautiful interior. I especially appreciated the fact that the furnishings are very well looked after even in the bathroom area which are usually neglected even in very high class restaurants. Good and plentiful food, the fish risotto for two was actually eaten by 3 of us. Good, dry frying. I really recommend it if you are in the area.

26/10/2023: Domenica sono andata in cerca di ricordi. Sono arrivata a Goro era la mezza e una gran fame. Vado verso l' argine del Po e vedo l' insegna Da Primon. Da bambina sentivo parlare mio padre e mio fratello di Primon dove si mangiava bene. Sono entrata il tavolo libero si. Chiedo risotto e anguilla. Risotto buono veramente. L' anguilla cotta alla brace...... penso che il fuoco fosse troppo alto. L' anguilla ha bisogno di una cottura lunga per cui serve un fuoco basso. Il conto, alla fine, andava benino

17/03/2024: An enchanting place Three steps, a door and you enter the historical memory of a city as magical as it is ungrateful in remembering what were, for some of us continue to be, moments of authentic sharing. At the end of the nineties in this place which still gathers in rare atmospheres today, trying to resist local ingratitude, and moreover still succeeding well in this aim, in that period dinners were organized with authors, from Stefano Tassinari to Carlo Lucarelli, Massimo Carlotto. And many more names of culture. Exhibitions of young and old local artists were organised. We could smell the traditional flavors for us omnivores, no more menus that are now widespread everywhere. Cappellacci, tagliatelle, salami, pinzino and strictly red wine. To this day it remains the most beautiful venue in the city. To understand and love it you must have had the fortune of inhabiting it and experiencing it then. However, there is always an emotion to experience. The cuisine remains fairly faithful to what it was, the atmosphere of the place is identical. The rest is up to those who decide to enter so as not to be absolutely disappointed. On the contrary! Be faithful to our places and inhabit them with joy.
