The food is very good and the service even better.
We were very late for our reservation due to weather and road issues , but the owner and the team waited for us and were very kind and patient even though it was nearly their closing time, allowing us to relax and take our time.
The antipasti and dolci Buffett have great options and the mains are amazing; the ragu is made per tradition and definitely an highlight.
I am coeliac and they were super attentive and had a whole separate menu for gluten free options - no issues with cross contamination either; they also cather for vegan and vegetarians
Wine and liquor selection was also great.
Prices are very reasonable and the whole place has a very homey and welcoming atmosphere.
We will definitely be back

When booking, made in mid-November, I was informed that a fixed/tasting menu was not offered but only à la carte. Brave and well done I said to myself!
Unfortunately my feelings weren't that wrong. Arrival time at the table 12.50. An hour's wait for the first courses and mostly served at two times: 2pm and 2.15pm.
Nb. While waiting I asked a lady who was wandering around the room, the same one I later found at the checkout, if it was possible to bring two slices of salami (I didn't ask for Fois gras!) she replied, with ostentatious kindness, that the starters were not there!
I suggest, but only with a view to improvement, preparing a small "welcome" dish for other similar events.
Same wait for seconds, then the desserts (excellent) then total abandonment, all the staff were exhausted!
The only note of merit goes to the historic waiter who did his best trying to manage the kids in their "first year of hotel work". A recommendation to the new generations of restaurateurs: There is still someone around who knows about food and service! Don't pull the rope too much!
A bit harsh review but I hope it can be useful to the property.
