We ate very well, the prices were reasonable considering it's in the center of Anacapri compared to other restaurants, and it was also one of the few open in the winter.
The staff was super friendly and professional.
We ate very well, from appetizers to first courses, from caprese salad to coffee. If I were to return to Capri, I would definitely go back. Go there!
14/01/2026: Beginner mistakes.
I ordered ziti "Genoese style" and they were quite undercooked, too "al dente." They replaced them with pasta that was cooked better. (Beginner mistake)
In all the restaurants we've been to, bread, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil are offered at the table.
Here, they offered nothing. When I asked for olive oil, they brought us (for 6 people) a small plate smeared with oil... (Photo attached) At first, it seemed like a joke, but then I realized it was an act of extreme stinginess.
The waiter served us well, but I don't recommend it.

Rooms are comfortable with spectacular views, stock Carthusian products! Hiking paths of top views in Anacapri, swimming pool, free shuttle!! List of excellence goes on and on! Perfection! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

24/10/2025: Lido del Faro is truly one of the top beach clubs in Capri and a spot we always recommend to our clients, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is effortlessly chic yet relaxed, with stunning views of the sea and the iconic lighthouse. The service is always warm, friendly and attentive, and the food is exceptional fresh seafood, traditional and delicious pasta, and nice cocktails. The sea water is magical!
It’s the kind of place where everyone feels at home. And the best of all is the entertainment from the local kids happily jumping off the rocks!
23/10/2025: A magically situated place to rest and relax. Clean, sun-drenched and surrounded by the beautiful sea. This is a must-experience.

Tip: remember some pizza come without tomato sauce.

27/10/2025: We had a very pleasant evening with a special dessert recommended by our waiter, very kind and service oriented (Argentinian sorry for missing the name). We chose the dessert degustation since it was late at night and even suggested blankets for the cold evening. A very special place with a beautiful atmosphere under Capri lemon trees.
19/10/2025: Kudos to Luca from the wine shop, who is kind and professional! We had two whole-wheat focaccias, truly delicious, in a beautifully landscaped Mediterranean garden. We'll definitely be back.

25/10/2025: It’s a nice family restaurant in the city centre in Anacapri. We ordered Carbonara and pasta with rabbit, and both dishes were amazing. We were traveling for a week in Amalfi coast and were exhausted with expensive and not delicious food. Here our experience was fantastic, place really worth visiting, the atmosphere, service, everything was so great!!

05/07/2025: Recomiendo mucho este encantador restaurante. Increíbles vistas del atardecer con fabulosos cócteles. Luego cenamos en el encantador restaurante cubierto, la comida era increíble. Recomendaría el pulpo a la plancha (pruébalo, ¡el mejor que hemos probado nunca!), luego el risotto de marisco estaba increíble. El traslado desde y hacia el restaurante fue muy de agradecer. Un servicio encantador y una velada inolvidable. ¡Gracias!

30/12/2025: (I'm local) Unfortunately, this is not an experience I would recommend ever. The food was not fresh (the ravioli were soggy, broken, and served with a very watery sauce), and cleanliness was seriously lacking (dusty glasses and hands touching the dishes). The prices are very high for the quality offered. Almost 100€ for 1 anchioves, clearly not fresh fried, 2 ravioli, 1 water, half house wine. It did not feel like an authentic Caprese experience or Italian level. The owner was kind and the place itself is very nice, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end.

07/10/2025: This is a 2 star Michelin restaurant and unfortunately didn't live up to expectations.
The service was between good and average depending on who was serving.
I chose from the a la carte menu:
I had a tomatoe soup for entree - €75
Essentially tasted like blended tomatoes 🙄
I had the black cod for main which was nice - €90. But, unfortunately, I’ve had better elsewhere.
My wife was unwell due to some food poisoning the day before so she asked for somwthing very simple. They served her chicken with brocoli and potatoes. The chicken wasn't seasoned, my 8 year old could make something more interesting. The potatoes saturated in butter. Fair enough this wasn't part of their menu but we felt like it was thrown together without any care or consideration.
Finally, the seating is a little interesting. Half the restaurant is table and chairs as you might expect. The other half is sofas and armchairs which is quirky but impractical. The sofa is also a 2 seater sofa that could potentially be shared with the next table, and with not a lot of space inbetween.
Overall, not overly impressed and wouldn't ever go back.

19/10/2025: My favorite restaurant in Italy. We have been traveling through Italy for 3 weeks and this by far is my favorite restaurant. So good that we ate here twice!! The food exploded with fresh flavor with every bite. It off the beaten path, quiet, and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. I had Risotto alla Pescatora one night and Maccheroncello pazzo the second. And my husband had a pasta dish. Go find this restaurant and enjoy the food, service and atmosphere.

02/08/2025: Another place that has lost its charm.
Tables very near to each other, behind me waiters kept passing like on a motorway hitting my chair every time.
The prices have increased so much: a plate averages 50/60 euros. Portions are generous though.
You need a mortgage for a wine, where the least expensive glass is 18 euros.
At a certain point the waiter collected bread from the table without even asking if we were still eating it. Puzzling.
The crowd used to be so stylish and now there’s so many loud tables.
Food is good, but not exceptional, in fact rather forgettable.
A free frozen limoncello at the end is a nice touch.
27/07/2025: Tuvimos un buen almuerzo en este encantador restaurante junto al mar, cerca de la Grotta Azzurra. Lugar muy concurrido, pero súper servicio y muy buen rollo. Matteo nos cuidó muy bien.
Para empezar, la ensalada de langosta para compartir era muy bueno, el pescado como principal ok. Las vistas increíbles. También había una tienda emergente Dior y club de playa adjunto.
Gran selección de vinos. Postre buffet inmejorable. Música en vivo, súper agradable.
Asegúrese de que el restaurante pida un taxi antes de irse. Reserva necesaria.
