20/03/2024: I gave the second star simply for the kindness of the waitress and the owner... And it's as if I had said everything... Spartan location, which harks back to the glories of years gone by, those made of neon lights, aquariums with live lobsters (those that are still alive🤦🏻), and corridors with photos of VIPs that leave their memories... I'll start by saying that the bathrooms are clean and fragrant, small but colored with the blue of the sea that can be seen from the table on the veranda where they seat you... you are practically on the seafront road a few steps from the shore with the promontory and the castle of Scilla, and for this reason, the expectations could be positive (high would be a big word)... mixed starter where the best thing, because it is fried well, is the "pitticella" of baby or whitebait or ice fish, whatever you want , and the bruschetta with spicy marinated anchovies... a small piece of aubergine parmigianina which must have been their interpretation because, otherwise it cannot be explained as it was not received, as were the two baby arancini, 🤦🏻.. Moving on to the first courses, on the advice of the owner who kindly showed me the ingredients of the gnocchi al cartoccio, I wanted to "approach" this feared historical delicacy according to him (it seems they have been making it for thirty years 🤦🏻)... I'll just summarize that I ate all the fish on the rocks, deliberately leaving the gnocchi because they were a "lead" that I struggled to digest🤦🏻🤦🏻 We ordered the linguine with swordfish....🤔🤔🤔 Which I think has never seen the kitchen because I don't think it was swordfish🤦🏻I prefer to stay and overlook this Hamlet-like doubt...we deliberately preferred not to end with dessert and pay. .. Certain realities, in the infamous 2024, the millennium of artificial intelligence and social media, need to review their beliefs, their menus and potential, and thus decide which path to take, whether that of restoration and innovation or that of closure.

13/08/2023: Excellent restaurant, where it is possible to eat various dishes based on stockfish and also meat and other fish. During my visit I ate the mixed rustic appetizer which included a selection of cured meats and cheeses, a meatball (very good), a stuffed aubergine and a portion of aubergine parmigiana; for the price of the dish I judged it to be very good with adequate quantities. First I ordered the caserecce with porcini mushrooms, the mushrooms were very fresh, calloused and fragrant, the flavor was adequate and the pasta was well priced; I also tasted the hats with walnut sauce: the stuffed pasta was very tasty and the cream had a slight hint of walnuts, there was little cinnamon and therefore the flavor was lost, in general this was also a good dish; I continued tasting the first courses with the stockfish with salted ricotta: the pasta was cooked well (in general the cooking was adequate for all the first courses), the stockfish had a good flavor but was slightly too savory, the spicy note was well balanced. For the second course I took the roasted stockfish with porcini mushrooms with a side of vegetables (on that occasion they were potatoes): the mushrooms were excellent, the same quality as those eaten in the first course, the stockfish was roasted to perfection, you could feel the embers and also a light smokiness, the only flaw was the stockfish had been desalted too much, the potatoes were really delicious. We also took a Calabrian sparkling white wine which was also very good and went very well with what we ate. To finish a bottle of sweet sparkling wine that accompanied a cake brought to us (which was kindly cut and served to us free of charge, which is not something everyone does), the sparkling wine was really good. In our group there were also two children who ate pasta with sauce and cutlet with potatoes. I highly recommend the porcini mushroom pasta because it was truly phenomenal. The prices are very affordable, as you can see on the receipt we spent €220 for 9 of us with wine and sparkling wine which translates into around €30 each which for the quality of the food served is a truly competitive figure. The staff is kind and helpful, they fulfilled every request quickly, furthermore the service was fast and in about 2 hours we finished dinner and took some photos. The very kind owner. Outside the venue it is very easy to find parking for your car. I highly recommend going here to eat excellent quality dishes without spending a lot.

13/10/2023: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante su consiglio di amici. Carina la location,il servizio un po' troppo formale ma efficente. Buono l antipasto con salumi e formaggi, Abbiamo ordinato due primi:gli gnocchi alla marinara discreti, mentre l altro primo fuori menù con crostacei era veramente buono. Il prezzo un po' elevato soprattutto per le porzioni un po' risicate. Comunque un ristorante da consigliare

22/08/2023: Un bistrot bello e ben gestito, con la chicca dei quotidiani la mattina. La location é praticamente unica in città, con interni curati e accoglienti. Offre adeguate colazioni, con un esperto barman d'eccezione; gustosi pranzetti capaci di soddisfare chi lavora e chi passa con la famiglia. La gestione é simpatica ed attenta alla clientela, dagli studenti che vi fanno colazione la mattina, ai professionisti che lo affollano in cerca di un ristoro. Non lo frequento la sera, ma é sempre pieno e, dunque, funziona certamente anche per gli aperitivi e le serate. Un eccellenza gli arancini, che anticiperei volentieri a colazione. Bravi!
16/08/2023: Che dire semplicemente meraviglioso in una giornata molto calda .. una passeggiata per Reggio ( bellissima ) perché non fare un aperitivo come solo qui li sanno fare ,??? Bene il posto è’ bellissimo , L aperitivo perfetto ma stuzzicherai abbondante ,, noi ci siamo trovati benissimo

21/08/2023: Un locale caratteristico immerso in una vecchia cantina offre dell'ottimo cibo della tradizione calabrese. Ottima la pasta fatta in casa con il ragù di suino nero e guanciale e davvero squisita la grigliata mista di carne! I gestori sono molto gentili e disponibili e ti fanno sentire subito a casa! Visitate la bella Stilo e poi rigeneratevi al meglio qui! Bravissimi!

01/11/2023: Siamo stati per la prima volta in questo agriturismo, abbiamo cominciato con l'antipasto della casa molto buono, poi abbiamo iniziato con ordinare i primi tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, ci dicono che non ci sono, ci adeguiamo a quello che ci propongono, pasta con stocco e con pomodoro salsiccia e funghi che non mangiamo, abbiamo ordinato ravioli ai funghi buoni anche se abbiamo aspettato un ora e mezza, poi sorpresa arrivano insieme ai secondi e al tavolo a fianco gli portano le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, assurdo non solo a noi anno detto che erano in carta ma non era possibile ordinare, ci arrivano i primi insieme ai secondi. Giornata da dimenticare

03/02/2024: Location curata con ampi spazi. Pizza con cornicione alveolato tipo napoletana, leggera e buonissima, anche gluten free a richiesta, molto saporita e con ingredienti di prima scelta. Il prezzo è giusto. Tornerò.
14/01/2024: 2 ore x mangiare una pizza anche se il locale era vuoto, a riguardo il conto con gli stessi soldi mangiavo un primo e un secondo in un altro ristorante
