22/01/2026: Our visit to Osteria San Francesco on June 8th, 2025, was a wonderful experience. Francesco welcomed us warmly and offered us seats on the terrace. I had the impression he was a little surprised that we wanted to eat there with 10 people. He immediately called his brother Massimo, who prepared the kitchen. Several other helpers also arrived to assist Massimo with the cooking. The Osteria is somewhat hidden away on a small, steeply rising road. The dining rooms aren't very large, but there's also a grotto, a room carved directly into the mountainside. Francesco and Massimo are very friendly and they made our evening truly enjoyable. The food, prepared by Massimo, was excellent. It's safe to say that the Osteria team knows how to cook. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

23/01/2026: An honest trattoria in the Altomonte area. If they raised the quality of the macaroni, it could be a really great meeting place. The table service menu would be nice. It's a shame about the paper tablecloths.

10/01/2026: If you're looking to visit the historic center of Cosenza, Trattoria Calabria Bella, a name that speaks for itself, is the place to be. Eight of us, some of whom chose the first course (strigoli or lagane), others the second course (lamb or tagliata), were happy with their choices. The owner recommended an excellent "4 lustri" Magliocco wine.

15/02/2026: I had dinner here with my girlfriend on Valentine's Day. Even though we were a little late for our reservation, we were greeted with kindness and professionalism. The pizzas were delicious, perfectly leavened and made with quality ingredients. The selection is varied, with unique pizzas that are different from the usual classics. One of the best we've had in the area, we'll definitely be back.

04/01/2026: My boyfriend and I had lunch at Rifugio La Principessa, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful: she let us try truffles harvested that same day and welcomed us with great simplicity and attentiveness. The service is excellent, and the place is very quiet and surrounded by nature. All the products are locally sourced and produced by them, and you can sense the passion and authenticity of these simple, genuine people. The location is exceptional, easily accessible, and has ample parking. Their social media page is also interesting, where you can see all the activities they organize. Highly recommended!

20/02/2026: I visited the agriturismo in mid-February. The dishes were authentic and well-prepared. I can't rate the rooms since I didn't stay there.

19/02/2026: While returning from a trip, I stopped to eat at this restaurant nestled in the Calabrian countryside, which is nothing short of stunning. I immediately received a warm welcome from the staff, not to mention the cuisine, which consists of local specialties, fresh products, and well-studied combinations of ingredients. The chef, who is also the owner, is a guy who has the restaurant business in his blood and you can see he does it with love, passion, and commitment. And what can I say? In my opinion, if you're in the area, you should add "In campagna da Clara" as a destination. I had a great time, and anyone like me who loves tradition will also find it great. 👍

28/09/2025: Agriturismo Il Cicerone is a fantastic place, as is the staff: humble and friendly people who immediately put you at ease. The food is extraordinary, from the appetizers to the first courses, to the excellently cooked grilled meats. The homemade cured meats, besides being delicious, brought back memories of the unique flavors of yesteryear. Thank you for your hospitality and congratulations on everything.

04/03/2026: At the recommendation of a colleague, I tried this restaurant located near the hospital in Cosenza, and was immediately impressed by its size, as I counted numerous seats spread across tables suitable for large groups, not just individuals. The restaurant is beautifully presented, with attention to detail and an authentic feel. Here you can eat excellent meat (including prime cuts), as well as pizza, fish (fresh), sandwiches—basically, anything you're craving. I had an excellent tuna steak. My only concern is the prices, which in my opinion are a bit too high despite the quality of the food and the excellent service and courtesy of the staff. Next time, I'll try the meat.

22/09/2025: We went on a Saturday evening. It's a true, traditional trattoria, simple, and has the atmosphere of old-fashioned eateries. The host is extremely kind and helpful. The mixed antipasto, fusilli all'aietana, and grilled veal steak with eggplant and mushrooms were all excellent and the portions generous. The prices were more than fair. It was a pleasure dining here.

05/10/2025: A renowned beach club in Villapiana. Even though it's the end of the season (only one row of umbrellas left and many of the facilities have been removed), I noticed the owners' friendly attitude and great courtesy. The beach club is a bit dated but welcoming. Everything about the beach and sea is fine. Worth a visit.
