27/03/2025: In tutta la mia vita non ho mai visto un personale più bifolco , maleducato e incompetente di questo . Il proprietario sembra meritare la fama che ha nella città . Il suo modo di porsi ha qualcosa di sbagliato . I panini ci vengono portati dopo mezz'ora o poco meno da quando ordinati e sono freddi , nel mentre i tavoli sono sporchi . Aggiungendo dei prezzi che manco ci avessimo trovato l'oro nei panini non ho davvero motivo di tornare .

07/09/2024: a surreal experience: I'm going chronologically for clarity. 1. we inform us of the arrival time the previous day, we are told ok. When confirming the journey (10 hours) it becomes 'either arrive by time X or wait 3 hours' 2. the place has potential but is very poorly maintained 3. in the room the air conditioner lowers the temperature by a maximum of 2 degrees compared to the room temperature, making an infernal noise. The refrigerator is even worse, so much so that we are forced to unplug it to sleep 4. in the morning we get up in time for breakfast (available exclusively from 8.30 to 9.30). Breakfast is the one in the photo, prepared by smoking a cigarette over it. No fruit. No eggs. No nothing. 5. check out by 10 am mandatory, despite having been widely advised that the overnight stay was for an evening wedding in the nearby area and the postponement had been specifically requested when making arrangements Surely I missed something nefarious in the list, but I tried to ignore as much as possible so as not to get to the happy event sideways.

07/09/2024: I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst mimic. I'm very sorry because we were there with a nice occasion to celebrate, but the management of the farmhouse is embarrassing and rude. The check-in times don't make sense, and if you don't fall within them you have to wait hours (he told us that if we didn't arrive by 2.30pm he would reopen for us at 5.30pm) The structure is very poorly maintained (the diving board in the pool is also dangerous but obviously not signposted), the smell inside is terrible and the room is absolutely unsuitable (air conditioner and fridge made an infernal noise). Breakfast (which goes from 8.30 to 9.30 is ridiculous) consists of a cappuccino and a slice of plum cake (never seen such a thing) and this despite the fact that breakfast had been paid for in advance. The structure was entirely occupied by us wedding guests, I asked if it was possible to have a late check-out given that we would be returning very late and he told me a firm no (with also a moral about the fact that people don't want to work) even though, even in this case, those who had booked had been assured that they would be flexible. Conclusion? The bride had to call on the morning of her wedding to reiterate the arrangements to check out later. The icing on the cake? The owner always smokes, everywhere, even in the kitchen while she is preparing food. Chilling.

21/10/2024: Wir haben einen richtig netten Abend mit vorzüglichen Essen verbracht. Die Atmosphäre war familiär und die Gastgeber unkompliziert unterhaltsam.

13/09/2024: Restaurant aan huis waar moeder kookt met groenten uit eigen tuin en lokale producten. Er is een standaard 7 gangen menu inclusief water en wijn voor 25€ per persoon. Het was heerlijk. Een aanrader.

20/10/2024: Attenzione a quando andate a saldare il conto sui menu un prezzo dal proprietario evidentemente altro molto più alto vergogna

08/09/2024: Mi sono travata in questoposto in quanto l'unico disponibile senza prenotazione alle 21 di sabato ( e già qui mi sarebberodovute essere chiare tante cose). Il locale è esteticamente gradevole, ma la manutenzione è carente. Il personale è cortese, ma questo non è sufficiente a compensare le altre carenze. Il menù è limitato (sembra quasi di essere tornati negli anni '80) e le pizze sono decisamente al di sotto della media. La pizza è sottile, ma non croccante come dovrebbe essere una pizza biscottata. La pizza con insalata e gamberetti aveva troppa insalata (circa una busta) e pochi gamberi. La pizza "fantasia del pizzaiolo" era in realtà una quattro stagioni senza carciofi (probabilmente il pizzaiolo quella sera era poco fantasioso poverino). I peperoni e patate erano immangiabili, l'unico sapore pervenuto era quello della cipolla che sovrastava il resto. Le patatine fritte erano poche (si contavano sulle dita delle mani) mollicce e cotte in un olio vecchio. Il locale è in mezzo al prato e ci sono molte zanzare e formiche. La tovaglia era sporca (non di cene precedenti ma cacca di uccello e di qualche lavaggio non andato bene). Nel complesso, non consiglio questo locale e non ci tornerei.

17/08/2023: Ci siamo fermati per caso e siamo stati conquistati dalla cordialità del proprietario che ci ha anche offerto le nocciole fresche per cui Cardinale è famosa. Ottima e abbondante pasta e ceci

23/07/2023: Locale a gestione familiare con la vera tipica cucina calabrese. Servizio attento e sempre tutti gentilissimi! Prodotti davvero a km 0 in uno dei migliori antipasti misti mai assaggi in Calabria. Vale la pena andare a Cardinale per prendere un po’ di fresco nelle calde giornate estive..

06/03/2025: Siamo tornati 2 volte col mio agente Saverio per la pausa pranzo di lavoro. Buona disponibilità di parcheggio. Piatti sempre buoni e gentilezza al bancone. Il primo giorno ho preso dei paccheri con zucchine ottimi, mentre il secondo un trancio di salmone con granella di mandorle veramente squisito. Unica pecca che la temperatura all'interno è un po' bassa: uno o due gradi in più mentre si pranza non guasterebbero.

04/12/2024: Mi fermo spesso per un pranzo di lavoro. Trovo tutto eccezionale, dalla qualità del cibo alla varietà. Dal servizio impeccabile alla simpatia con cui vieni accolto. E poi per finire un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente. Lo consiglio a tutti continuate così bravi!
