27/11/2024: Midweek lunch (Wednesday). The starters were good and in the right quantity. The first courses are tasty and with portions that are not exaggerated but not even outrageously gourmet. The second one I was able to make the slipper with was tasty! 😁 The variety of bread products is excellent. For dessert we had the truly excellent dry biscuits. Place with a view of the surrounding hills, tables with good tablecloths, pleasant and non-invasive service. In conclusion a delicious meal. The prices are normal, 2 of us spent €90 including the bottle of wine.

03/08/2024: Always a pleasure to spend some days in this hotel. We can say with certainty that family management is an added value. Basic, small hotel, no pool or entertainment, but it has everything you need. Clean rooms, equipped with every comfort, although in my opinion the capacity of the wardrobes should be increased. The family staff is available and never intrusive, always ready to find a solution for every problem. The large veranda terrace on the third floor is certainly the jewel in the crown of the hotel, where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner, accompanied by a small sea view (the hotel is located on a parallel street). The cuisine is indescribable, almost touching. Simple but tasty dishes, with a great choice on the menu, also giving space to those who don't eat meat or fish. All done to perfection, genuine and healthy, sometimes even light in options, but without sacrificing taste. Noteworthy side dishes and desserts. The guys in the room are always available for any particular need, especially for requests concerning children. The temperature of the air conditioning on the terrace should be reviewed, in my opinion too strong in a seaside place where there is a big difference between outside and inside. In conclusion, I recommend this little gem for anyone wishing to spend a few days in Giulianova.

29/07/2024: Everything perfect, spotless rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent proximity to the sea and beach service. The only suggestion I would like to give is to include a trolley of vegetables and salads at meals; in the summer they would certainly be welcome. However we will definitely return

25/08/2024: Romantic atmosphere, exquisite dishes and very smart young owners! We met Federica and Maicol and you can immediately perceive the passion they put into creating this restaurant. Compliments!! I absolutely recommend the tasting menu (we did the 5-course one) and it was all very refined and tasty. We will definitely come back to visit them!

14/10/2024: Il fascino del luogo, lasciava presagire una serata speciale. Ebbene siamo andati decisamente oltre le aspettative!!! L'eleganza del ristorante è stata esaltata dal garbo, dall'educazione e dalle evidenti capacità del ristoratore. La sua capacità nel guidarci, destreggiandosi abilmente, in un percorso di piatti eccellenti, perfettamente abbinati ai vini, non ha fatto altro che farci apprezzare in pieno l'esperienza della serata. Infine, i piatti eseguiti a regola d'arte, l'elevata qualità delle materie prime impiegate e l'attenzione al dettaglio, hanno completato la magia.....

08/09/2024: Purtroppo la nostra esperienza su questo posto non può’ essere positiva ma non per la qualità’ del cibo ma perche’ essere offesi dal titolare ( senza avere neanche il pudore di non farsi sentire )solo perche’ uno degli ospiti era vegetariano (e di sola carne!)quindi tutto il resto ok e’ veramente sconcertante!mi si propone in sostituzione un tagliolino al tartufo che pero’ viene sostituito da un tagliolino al pomodoro e basilico senza avvisare il commensale , chiediamo cosa e’ possibile avere per secondo ci si propone un uovo al vapore al tartufo che pero’ viene sostituito da una parmigiana semplicissima senza avvisare il commensale.Dato che l’educazione ci contraddistingue al contrario del proprietario che rientrando in cucina ha inveito dicendo(questi c.zz.. di vegetariani ecc.ecc. )abbiamo fatto notare il fatto ma senza fare la piazzata.bhe’ il conto e’ stato fatto pagare come se l’ospite vegetariano avesse consumato carne e primo con la carne.e’ questa me la chiamate ospitalità? Siamo nel 2024 aggiornate le vostre proposte perche’ significa essere al passo con i tempi ma sopratutto siate onesti perche’ non siamo tutti citrulli.

25/11/2024: Sono un amante della buona cucina e del buon cibo , ritengo il ristorante Vecchia Marina uno dei migliori d'Abruzzo . L'amore , la passione , la professionalità e l'impegno di Gennaro e Giovanni fanno si che sul tavolo ci sia ogni giorno del buon pesce fresca . Scampi all'arrabbiata , tagliolini acqua e farina con scampi sgusciati e vongole sono prelibatezze purtroppo sconosciute a molti . Mettiamo da parte critiche e pettegolezzi che fanno male a padri di famiglia che 3/4 a settimana si alzano all'una di notte per essere presenti alle aste dei più importanti porti delle regioni limitrofe !!! Non finiremo mai di ringraziarvi !!! Aldo

20/11/2024: Tutte le portate degli antipasti sono state imbarazzanti ( degustazione 46€) In più, la scortesia in particolare di una cameriera, ci ha gelate. Abbiamo dovuto necessariamente far cambiare la prima portata perché imbevuta di aceto, non di nostro gradimento; ci è stata sì cambiata, ma da allora l’atteggiamento in particolare di una delle cameriere è stato pessimo ( occhiatacce, tono di voce sgarbato ) La più gentile in assoluto è stata la cameriera di origini straniere; troviamo giusto specificarlo. Nel complesso la cena ci ha profondamente disturbate. Ce ne siamo andate con un forte senso di nausea. Come già evidenziato in una delle recensioni negative, seppur poche, la buona fama del locale è probabilmente portata avanti da un giro di conoscenze ad esso collegate

04/09/2024: Don't go to work in this place!!!!!! I worked in the kitchen this summer, and I wasn't paid everything I was promised. I'll answer you here: I don't think it's convenient for them to put the pay slip online, because everyone knows that by doing 2 shifts in a restaurant you can never work 4 hours a day as you stated, then the name of the person who made the pay slips is also available and it's also negative publicity for them. Nowadays being honest is a virtue that not everyone can afford.

01/09/2024: This place is paradise!! If you thought that paradise didn't exist you were very wrong, come to this place and you will realize it! I'm always very fussy with reviews... and I'll tell you about my experience. The place is located on a hill in the middle of the greenery, quiet and welcoming. So if you want to relax and get away from everything it's the ideal place. I was a guest one day, just for the pool and I had a great time. The staff is very polite, friendly and welcoming. The service is so impeccable that they even bring you cocktails directly to your umbrella at the pool. In the afternoon there is the possibility of eating fruit grown by them and cocktails while you are calmly relaxed on the very comfortable sun loungers by the pool. There is a bar service outside for making your own drinks. There are two bathrooms kept clean and very well. Behind the swimming pool there is a very well-kept forest, so you can easily take 4 steps in the area in complete tranquility. Pets are allowed. The people are all polite, there are no shouts and shouts because in any case it is a controlled place. To book to just go to the pool without staying overnight you need to call and arrange with the reception because places are always extremely limited, to rightly give priority to the well-being of those staying at the hotel. I give top marks! Pool kept extremely clean. There is nothing out of place and everything is in order. Getting there by car is a bit awkward on the road, but in the end it is possible. Because being at the top of a hill, even parking has to be done on a slope on a somewhat bumpy road, but it's still worth it.
