24/04/2025: Coming from Verona, we stopped today for lunch for the first time. We chose the 45 euro menu which included appetizers, first and second courses, water, wine and coffee! A huge choice of appetizers arrived between raw and cooked, very fresh fish, spectacular raw and cooked. The first course, paccheri with seafood was amazing and the mixed grill spectacular! In September I will be back for holidays and it will be the first place I return to

08/04/2025: Refined cuisine with excellent quality ingredients. I ate only once in this beautiful, carefully organized restaurant overlooking a beautiful view of the Teramo countryside. The dishes, both typical and revisited, are good. fast and precise service. In my opinion it fits into the range of 3/4 prestigious venues in the Vomano valley. I don't know how much we paid because I was invited but the price certainly matched what I ate. Compliments.

21/12/2024: Excellent fish, simple but good appetizers both raw and hot. Good dumpling but the red calamarata is amazing, all washed down with an excellent bubble. According to the delicate and very pleasant salt, you should choose something other than potatoes as a side dish. Service quite fast and without problems. I highly recommend...

Questo locale sito in località Torano Nuovo, provincia di Teramo, è una di quelle chicche, un posticino di nicchia che ha la capacità di rimetterti al mondo. Ogni qualvolta ho la possibilità di fuggire dal caos della Capitale, corro qui per una cena che sa stupire e coccolare. Da quando ha aperto è diventato il posto del cuore. Negli ultimi anni, per una serie di motivi, ho avuto la fortuna di girare molto l’Italia e il mondo e mangiare in posti di alto livello. Posso affermare, senza troppi dubbi, che Osteria dei Maltagliati difficilmente ha eguali. Anche la vasta scelta che offre Roma difficilmente riesce ad eguagliare questo piccolo e grazioso ristorante collocato in una piccola provincia del teramano. È tutto perfetto. Il servizio si contraddistingue per la gentilezza e la cordialità dei camerieri: precisi, puntuali, preparatissimi su contenuti dei piatti e procedure. La mise en place: perfetta, contraddistinta dalle ceramiche del noto borgo di Castelli. Un piacere per gli occhi! Il cibo: attenzione alla stagionalità dei prodotti, si parte dalla tradizione e si rivisitano alcuni piatti. Non sbagliano mai un colpo!!! Quello che salta subito al palato è l’attenzione nella scelta delle materie prime, aspetto che fa la differenza! I tempi: scanditi alla perfezione. Le portate arrivano, una dopo l’altra, nè troppo presto, nè con attese infinite. La cantina: variegata, ampia. Dalle cantine locali a quelle francesi. Tutte le gamme di prezzo ma prodotti sempre eccezionali. “Il Postino”, il mio preferito, prezzo modico (30€). Consigliatissimo. Un bianco che ogni volta che vado compro anche per portarlo a casa! Le coccole: la cena si apre con l’attenzione dello chef, vengono serviti pane di loro produzione accompagnato da lardo aromatizzato al lime e un assaggio di olio. Il lardo vale da solo tutta l’esperienza. Le porzioni: giuste. Non si esce affamati e nè com senso di pesantezza per aver mangiato eccessivamente. La location: curata nei minimi dettagli, piccola, accogliente, le luci soffuse e gli arredi che rimandano a un passato ancora presente e radicato nelle nostre culture… Il prezzo: adeguato. La spesa media si aggira intorno ai 50€ a persona, considerando degli antipasti condivisi, una portata principale, il dolce e una bottiglia di vino. Assolutamente ben spesi!!!! Infine, nota di merito al bagno. Pulito e curato anch’esso, sapone/scrub e crema mani a disposizione dei clienti, lasciano le mani morbide e profumate. Le lavette di stoffa nell’anfora un tocco di classe! Per me assolutamente un DIECI!!! Bravissimi ragazzi, continuate così! A presto!!!

27/04/2025: Location molto carina e curata e discreta cucina, ma questo non basta a rendere soddisfacente il pranzo. Porzioni decisamente scarse e cameriere che non ci sa fare. O abbassate i prezzi o aumentate le porzioni.

25/04/2025: We went for lunch on Easter day with a reservation a week before, they gave us a table at the entrance with a lot of people coming and going, which in my opinion was a little incorrect given the advance reservation! Let's move on to the courses, appetizer of cured meats with nothing special cheese, then mazzarella which would be the lamb innards rolls (not bad) as a first lasagna a little stringy and cold, the second first Chitarrina alla teramana really good compliments. Now let's move on to the second courses, lamb cutlets I would say failed because with the breading they are heavy to eat and lose the originality of the ring. The other second course was potatoes with lamb, in this case baked as you can see in the photos, excessively soaked in oil... and to finish, a very good sweet Teramo pizza. As for the service, I would have added an extra person to serve the tables because they were a little slow with only 2 of them, especially when these holidays are celebrated

27/04/2025: Location carina sul mare, il personale tutti ragazzi molto carini educati e sempre attenti. Tempi di attesa ragionevoli. Antipasto insalata mista è arrivata una scodella con l'insalata tutta tagliuzzata, senza commento sperando in un primo migliore. Primo scoglio con mezze maniche mini. A parte l'abbinamento che non avrei mai fatto, ma lo scoglio era uno dei più poveri ed insapori che avessi mai assaggiato. Diciamo che se è stata una giornata storta per il ristorante (lo spero per loro) va bene ma se fosse lo standard è davvero poca roba. Ci tornerei? sicuramente no...non mi ha convinto in nulla se no la gentilezza del personale.

18/04/2025: Nel centro di Montorio al Vomano, vicino Teramo, con ampio parcheggio a pochi passi. il ristorante si presenta all'interno essenziale ma pulito, con tavoli distanziati. Il servizio è discreto e professionale, con un'ottima cucina di pesce, con piatti ricercati, rispetto ai quali spicca il Baccalà. Da provare e consigliare, essendo peraltro ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.

15/05/2025: Restaurant to return to for the goodness of the food, service and environment, the only flaw is the lack of reserved parking but to be understood given the seafront area in front, I don't know the price as a guest
