25/11/2024: Io e la mia famiglia eravamo diretti a Teramo quando, a metà strada, abbiamo deciso di fermarci a pranzo in qualche ristorante del teramano. Non conoscendo la zona, per scegliere ci siamo affidati a tripadvisor. Da subito mi avevano colpito le ottime recensioni offerte da altri avventori al ristorante “la tacchinella” e quindi abbiamo intrapreso la strada collinare per Canzano, una deliziosa cittadina dal carattere medievale. La location, situata proprio all’ingresso del centro storico, ricorda una cantina in pietra e la saletta dove eravamo accomodati era tranquilla e riservata. Il cibo é eccezionale: abbiamo preso fettuccine con funghi e tartufi; due grigliate miste e mezzo chilo di tagliata di manzo di una qualità superba. Un grazie particolare ai ragazzi che ci hanno servito, cioè Davide, Francesca e Antonietta che sono stati molto disponibili, competenti ed educati. Il conto, per rapporto qualità-prezzo, é stato più che giusto, avendo noi pagato 35 euro a testa avendo mangiato due antipasti, 4 primi, 4 secondi e 2 dolci il tutto superbo. Consiglio vivamente questo locale,che può insegnare molto agli altri come fare buona ristorazione.

03/01/2025: My girlfriend and I made the mistake of eating the bread with oil too much. What a struggle to get to the café afterwards! Abundant, good dishes. Many courses by choosing the fixed menu at €35. Nice restaurant, nice waiter.

27/11/2024: Midweek lunch (Wednesday). The starters were good and in the right quantity. The first courses are tasty and with portions that are not exaggerated but not even outrageously gourmet. The second one I was able to make the slipper with was tasty! 😁 The variety of bread products is excellent. For dessert we had the truly excellent dry biscuits. Place with a view of the surrounding hills, tables with good tablecloths, pleasant and non-invasive service. In conclusion a delicious meal. The prices are normal, 2 of us spent €90 including the bottle of wine.

30/12/2024: Abbiamo prenotato in una serata di sabato, locale piccolino, era molto pieno ma accogliente e ben tenuto. Abbiamo atteso molto per avere sia il servizio e poter ordinare che per formaggio fritto ed arrosticini. Il servizio era educato e cortese ma andava molto a rilento. Arrosticini non eccellenti sia per cottura che per fattura. Altre volte siamo stati e consigliamo i primi ottimi e le verdure nonché la grigliata. Ma se andate solo per gli arrosticini altri posti hanno una qualità superiore! Prezzi nella norma per il teramano.

27/09/2024: Seaside chalet with fresh food. The characteristic of the restaurant is not to have a real à la carte menu, but a fixed menu based on the catch of the day and therefore absolutely fresh. Generous portions and fair prices. Quick and efficient service. We will definitely be back.

21/12/2024: Excellent fish, simple but good appetizers both raw and hot. Good dumpling but the red calamarata is amazing, all washed down with an excellent bubble. According to the delicate and very pleasant salt, you should choose something other than potatoes as a side dish. Service quite fast and without problems. I highly recommend...

01/01/2025: A little old but welcoming environment, friendly and helpful staff, menu reduced to 3-4 first courses and as many second courses, we didn't try the starters which still seemed interesting! Very fresh fish! Four of us with a bottle of passerina, 3 mineral waters, 4 first courses and 3 fried foods, 4 desserts and 2 gentians, we spent 160 euros. I consider the quality-price ratio truly remarkable. I will definitely be back!

14/10/2024: Il fascino del luogo, lasciava presagire una serata speciale. Ebbene siamo andati decisamente oltre le aspettative!!! L'eleganza del ristorante è stata esaltata dal garbo, dall'educazione e dalle evidenti capacità del ristoratore. La sua capacità nel guidarci, destreggiandosi abilmente, in un percorso di piatti eccellenti, perfettamente abbinati ai vini, non ha fatto altro che farci apprezzare in pieno l'esperienza della serata. Infine, i piatti eseguiti a regola d'arte, l'elevata qualità delle materie prime impiegate e l'attenzione al dettaglio, hanno completato la magia.....

05/01/2025: 2 children, 2 adults: 3 starters, 2 second courses, 1 bottle of wine, 3 bottles of water, 1 side dish, 1 coffee: 135 euros. Food quality average with plenty of salt. There is much better in the area. There was no possibility to understand the cost for each individual course (no menu, no details on the bill) Would I go back? Absolutely not.
